@@KhaosInductionCreator You're aware of other games that have had mods released for them right? Ones that don't even natively support VR. They didn't take long at all, for UE games the ground work is already set. It's a case of making some changes.
Great tutorial! I changed my input.ini so I have free lean instead of VoIP. For the 2 handed weapons I just use a gunstock so it feels like a 2 handed one. To be able to see interactions I turned on the GUI, got rid of the goggles and the vignette by equipping nvgs and putting the UI off in the ingame settings.
Perfect!! I knew someone would have the answer to that LOL Ill have to do this as well. I feel the game might have some stabilization added, steam link only gives me vr view which can be too much for people not used to watching vr content
@@FNH8iT I actually have been repeating that part all over before and was wondering why it doesn't work thats why I asked here. But I have fixed it by swapping it to the right controller rather than the left. I don't know why but turning on the light from left controller doesn't work and I don't feel the vibration. As for my right controller I can immediately feel it vibrating. Weird. But thanks for the reply though.

you can switch between the 2 without issues. Its only when you pop into UEVR the other files map the Motion Controls for using a controller and hide the character pieces for first person VR

Is the video relevant? The links don't work, I downloaded the files from another site. I can't move with the Quest 3 controllers. I can't remove body parts in the game because I have nothing in the Acknowledged Pawn section of the program window.
yes it still works the same, the file got pulled down by google drive but you will need to edit the controller input to work, everything in the video is relevant. if you are on discord you can additionally go to flat2vr's discord and get the files from there as well

I tried to play with the mod, but it's terribly inconvenient that you can't move right where you look with your face. The character goes in the direction where the body is looking in the game, and the rotation of the body in the game can only be controlled from the controller. Is this solved somehow? And also, if you accidentally touch the right stick, then the camera goes up or down, which is also annoying. Is it possible to disable it somehow?
yup with my files the profile made has head followed movement, since some didnt understand the directions there has been reporting of the link to the folder so it got blocked currently. i can get the Vr to work but the motion controls aren't playing by the rules. I've spent about six hours trying to get it to work with no luck. Insanity, incoming.
Make sure UEVR is opened in admin mode. when you have steam VR open and the game opened select Ready or Not in drop down. When you inject you may have a pop up saying theres a VR plug in you have to disable. ( Im uncertain if this was the game that had that originally) if so it will tell you the name of that file. Find it under the plugins Ready or Not and rename it so it wont get flagged. After that it should inject without issues. Also if you use LIV this will not work with it. I tried using LIV first person stabilizer and it crashed the game

I have a question 3 and 4090 card but cant get the graphics looking anywhere near how it looks in this video. Everything is kinda burry and looks a little hologrammish. Like not solid if that makes sense.
Damn tried steam link for the first time last week to play Ghost of tabor and steam link just about broke my computer. Had to go back in and fix a bunch of stuff to get my computer running again so it unfortunately lost me at steam link as I only use airlink. Shame cuz your last video on this made this game look amazing. I will have to save my debut UE VR game for something else. ( Maybe RoboCop)
Yeah this one eats a lot of resources, theres a few settings you can adjust on steam link but for me steam link ended up working better than the other 2.

@@mkc11267 oh it's possible that it didn't take my settings for the controllers then. In the UEVR menu under controls you can set the dpad inputs.

ahh yeah, might have to adjust server settings in the menu, theres an option on multiplayer in game to remove the mods and versions checks

Everytime I go to dowload UEVR windows flags it for a trojan and deletes it, is their an older version that doesn't do that>?

Using Y key to cycle weapons only works in the police station. When you are in a mission, it doesn't work anymore. I don't know why

Yeah it's kind of a pain. The character will squat sometimes when trying to adjust the gun

i went over everything needed to get this up and running and showed how to customize it to your liking. the other files were not needed in this mod
