@@divinetribe1 ah, thank you very much. I literally just seconds ago figured out I needed a specific, earlier version of NFEToolbox/Arctic Fox that’s compatible with the Rim C mod. I think it would behoove you to make that very clear on the website or your UA-cam channel...it took me days to figure out the issue lol
So m1-m3 on this device are for pre-programming three different preferred settings for different temps/products. I vape and build so am familiar with rebuildables but honestly don't mess with temp control. So do same rules apply? I don't have to do tc/tcr? I'm just looking for a better alternative for concentrates than pen devices. Thank you.b✌️💛
Yes this allows for three profiles for different atomizers. You can set the tcr value according to the manufacturers recommendations for that specific coil. Mine are all around 300-350
I was in the same exact state of mind a little over a week ago Patricia. Wanted a better/new/more efficient way to use my concentrates and Matt @ ineedhemp.com just made this possible for me! He’s super helpful and gets back to you, really great customer service! The Quest SIC and Eleaf RIM C are what I got from Matt this week and I’m super pleased. Thanks Matt!
@@MCLordSpectrum he has video instructions for how to do it with a pico its called something like pico quartz quest tcr settings. I'd just search pico quartz quest tcr instructions and it should come up.
No but if you don’t put that to the off position once the second interval stops it will just turn the mod off which will make you have to five click it to turn it back on again. When you turn it to the off position and you hold the button down constantly it will only stay on for 10 seconds then you have to re-press the button. So keep the timer off
So Why is my device keep coming up with a "Device Too Hot" message? Also, do I need to install firmware updates of any kind? I'm using an Aspire Nautilus tank with an Aspire 1.8 ohm coil. I vape at 25 Watts. Thanks.
@@divinetribe1 I did not purchase these 2 devices from you. I purchased them either from Element Vape or Central Vapers. They offered me to return both of the ones I ordered but I do not have the boxes. I always open my mods, throw the box away & put the mods in with the rest of my basket of mods. I didn't even use these until 1-2 months after I purchased them. If you take the side cover off & there is a code or set of 5 letter & numbers. 1 of my older mods that worked right out of the box has a code EC022. The 2 new ones have codes that say EDMO5. Do these codes mean anything or could the new ones be fakes?
@@kimhemm1105 I am unsure about the codes however the device to hot is a defect in the device and i personally do returns for that problem. My best suggestion would just be to return the mods if a customer returns of product without the box, that’s not really a big deal to me I still process the return. Hopefully the vendor you purchased from will feel the same way
After i do this and then hold the fire button once i let go it goes right back to 1w. Then i have to go back through and pick m1 again. Like it's not saving or something
What is the ohm reading?. It sounds like it’s jumping from temp mode to watts mode. This can happen if the piece is dirty or the connections are loose, when you first had the piece or installed the heater you will notice a resistance reading, that number should never change or you can expect it to jump from temperature to Wattage mode

Hey Matt! Do you recommend actually using a TCR value of ~300 for the DTV4 coils or just the NI temp setting on the rim mod?
I only use tcr for the quest and gen 2 I always use ni mode for the v4

Can you use TCR for the quartz crucible or is there better settings?
Thx awesome vid. What is TCR and why is higher/lower better?

Do terp perals work with glass vortex cap?
Yes. Just tried 1, 5mm sic pearl and it definitely spins even with a light draw. Trying two next time. Sic Quest vortex cap
