Hey Joe awesome video, have been really enjoying your uploads since subscribing to the channel! I was thinking after talking to a few other people about your channel, it would really be awesome if you could do a few tutorials/guides on how to fish land based with softbaits in terms of rod, braid, leader and lure setup, and most importantly the retrieval techniques you use to catch fish with the method. I myself have been trying land based softbaiting for a little while but just haven't been seeing the results I'm looking for due to a lack of understanding of how to actually fish the method successfully. There's not many in-depth guide videos or sources of information on the internet that help anglers understand land based softbaiting better so I was thinking it'd be an awesome opportunity if you could maybe help us struggling anglers out there. Thanks heaps for your time!

JE do you know that you are rigging the lure upside down. Just giving you a helpful tip if to rig it the other way around you will find an increased strike rate and actually sticking hooks into the fish.

@@JEWildsFishing On the thumbnail of this video and the other one two videos back the hook is on the underneath of the grub. If you turn the jighead the other way around then it will sit upright and proper allowing for there to be a better action and a better hookup rate. Just giving you a helpful hand JE. It is mainly the soft plastic that you are rigging the wrong way around.
@telemachuscorolis4244 oh I see, yeah when I'm winding the lure in the hook is always facing up due to the balance of the Jighead, I'm just holding this way in the thumbnail with the hook down but you also think the curl of the tail should also match the curl of the hook too?
@@JEWildsFishingDefinitely. When the tail matches the curl of the hook the action is better and less movement is required when using the lure. If it is not then the lure can swim funny and swim on a diagonal base.
