Back in Pole Position! I guess all airlines have to slot into the different air traffic control schedule. Can't all take-off at the same time! Guess options for departure and arrival times too.
I can't wait to get back to Thailand. The food there is amazing. Is the A320 you were on a leased jet? The livery certainly isn't standard. OMG that cake looked like a bubble tea cake, I can imagine the taste.
Thank you Yep I watched and liked your review from Cairns. You didn't have comments turned so I couldn't leave a comment. I love Cairns. I am going back there at Xmas time
@@NowGetThere thanks for watching it! Review from Cairns to Sydney will be out either today or tommorow. I have a brother that has a question for you, do you fly for work or for holidays because you must be rich to be flying this much!
@@bensnrlpredictions8321 I fly for business between Sydney and Tokyo but ain't had a business trip there since February 2020. Damn Corona took away many trips to Japan. All other flights I pay for. Rich? NO. I have a passion for travel so work hard and live a simple life in Sydney so I can afford to travel when I get holidays away from work.
Nice TR. I've been hankering to try Bangkok Airways for years now on one specific route: BKK - REP (or vice versa). Normally, I'd fly to/from Siem Reap from Singapore with SQ/SilkAir. But I'd like to switch things up a little and try this self-styled 'Boutique Airline' via BKK. 😄 From what I've seen, the fares and overall airline quality are quite good.
This is the 2nd time I have flown with Bangkok Airways. First time was from Bangkok to Trat airport in Thailand to get to Koh Chang on their very cool ATR72 Twin Prop. I really want to get back to Cambodia soon. I visited there 2 times before the damn pandemic and loved my time there. I flew into Phnom Penh from Singapore, both times but next time will fly direct to Siem Reap! I flew SilkAir (so so) and Jetstar Asia (so so...). so think going via Bangkok is an excellent option. Bangkok Airways sure do have some very cheap prices and very good service.
Bangkok Airways is a really great smaller airline. On busy routes I would turn up early to the airport and be put on the first available seat at no charge. Asia’s boutique airline indeed.
Nice seeing a trip report from this part of the world… I’ve been wanting to travel to Thailand and Chiang Mai is high on my list of places to go. I agree with you on the plain white livery… the cabin looks quite old and not exactly visually pleasing, however for $55 each way I wouldn’t be complaining… it’s a plus they allowed the extra Kg of baggage as well… some airlines in OZ.. not mentioning names… will slog you for that everyday 😆
@@NowGetThere it’s definitely on the horizon! As for now I’m off to Malaysia in a couple of weeks… so far everything I have booked is also super cheap… hotels, domestic flights to Penang from KL.. looking forward to it.
I've had good experiences with Bangkok Airways myself, and I appreciate being able to sit in non-exit seats despite being 6'3. (I haven't dared try the likes of AirAsia...) Looks like HS-PPH used to have a special livery ("United for Wildlife"), and the fuselage decals have been removed leaving it looking rather plain. The regular livery is some nice blue waves, as seen at 3:48 They also do provide a lounge service for all passengers- which is not much more than a place to sit with coffee and some snacks, but it's better than nothing.
Agree! I also flew Bangkok Airlines from Bangkok to Chiang Mia. I was equally pleased with their service. Highly recommend it.
I've flown with Bangkok Airways a few times now and always a pleasant experience
🤪 lovely video 😜😘🌸
Thank you Claire 😊 💓
Hopefully first view like and comment
Almost!
First watch first comment :D weird how different airlines on the same route have different flight times

I not sure if that A320 is leased. Might make sense of the boring livery. Normally Bangkok Air has a cool blue design
Good review bro!I just arrived back from cairns and I posted a review from Sydney to cairns.😊
Thank you

Definitely get to Thailand. An amazing place to visit and Chiang Mai is a beautiful town.
Much cheaper to fly in Thailand than Australia

Yeah I found out there was lounge access after my flight!
I’m 5 ft 7, how’s your height ? (To compare leg room)
I am 6'2
I enjoy flying domestic with Bangkok Airways.. it puts TG to shame.
Bangkok Airway is awesome
