I just did injectors on my 06, I read posts on several forums and it seemed the consensus was to go with new injectors, so that’s what I ordered. I got 160,000 out of the originals, this round I’ll be doing fuel filters (Baldwin) every oil change with a lubricity additive every tank.

I have a 05 4 door long bed dullay 4x4 and I rebuilt the front end ball joints and up graded tie rod and franglais link and new bushings in track bar and brakes for a trip to Alaska and it did not need any of this to be done and factory brakes had 50% +. No rust any where was Ziebarted when new and it’ a stick white 145 k with a Bigfoot truck camper. What’s crazy I have had two guys ask me if I had the window sticker and I do and they both offered me what I payed for it and that’s crazy. Everybody wants theses no emissions trucks and if mint bring big money. Good luck on your search and no it’s not for sale.
On your opinion.......my turbo is fleece borgwarner s463 2nd swap I have head studs my trans is g56 built...for size of the turbo 60% over injectors and 10mm cp3 do you think is a rout to go ??? I'm Not towing to much.....oh my dodge is 2006
Was the truck tuned? I just got my 3rd gen back from a shop (they had my truck for 2 months) anyways, I didn’t notice any now power or 0 to 60mph so I put my truck to stock settings and I don’t get any black smoke, nothing. It’s a straight pipe as well. I would of thought it would have rolled coal with 90hp injectors.
Sick glad you go her done! Question no one can seem to answer. My 15 cummins is loping at start up and is worse with the EB on when warming up. The tach will bounce every now and then after warm. No check lights. Any ideas?
@@darkirondiesel Well it was stock when it started. I thought it might improve after I deleted it but no go. These guys around here keep saying there's no check light and can't read any codes. Wish you were closer. It's driving me crazy lol.

I have an 03 5.9 single axle and i need to replace my wheel bearings and u joints, Iv been looking at getting timkens or spyder bearings, if you have a preference or any advice id really appreciate hearing back from you. Or even anyone else's opinion. I use to use all Detroit Axle components but the quality is shit now and iv had multiple things break or go bad prematurely so Im not using them anymore. Also what headlights and tail lights do you have? I just smashed my head light into a fing mail box so why not upgrade them all.
Haha, my headlights are Spyder, and I forget what the tail lights are but I’m pretty sure I just got them from Amazon. Personally I use timken but I don’t know much about Spyder

Great 3rd gen video! I have a 04.5 with 90hp sticks, smarty touch and all the standard mods for air and fuel. Mine smokes just this all the time when I roll into it. Who do you suggest to do smarty tunes to help get my smoke down a bit? I daily on 5 with timing. Also I love those headlights! Any chance you would share what housing they are?

@@darkirondiesel i also run their tunes, my 4th gen 6,7 runs pretty good, it took awhile to get the tunes dialed in, and after it was all done i have this annoying fuel knock just off idle when i first start applying throttle, goes away at idle and goes away when getting on it, its just during light throttle......they seem stumped at DDC, any ideas?
How do you find the drivability with those 90Hp injectors? I would like to step up the HP but not lose the drivability for towing. Keep up the great vids!!
Ya probably around there. You could call BD Diesel and talk to the sales guys, they are super knowledgeable in the correct applications for different performance parts.
Yeah honestly me too I’d probably go right off the bat with a bigger turbo, then whenever you have the funds or whenever the injectors fail just replace them with some bigger ones
I believe if you cycle the key and let the fuel pump run a few times then crank it it will fire up.

Spyder headlights and grille came from Cole at ctcfab.ca
Those are reusable to a degree. If you just used them once for a short time then yes, BD is correct

So far it’s fine, I’m towing our boat home from the lake this weekend though so we’ll see how the EGTs are

Your stock turbo is where i would start get an upgraded turbo your stock fuel can handle a lot bigger than stock
