Bought bulgur by accident and while researching what it is I am here lol.
I guess bulgur chose me
I'm eating bulgur porridge while watching this, hello from the Caribbean .
Yes hello,I am eating bulgur with Haitian legume lol
I'm eating a bulgur salad with beans salad and zucchini! I actually specifically searched for this video because my friend recently showed me bulgur and I love it !
Today I just ate for the first time bulgur! It is amazing, full of flavor and much better than rice.
Been eating it since my childhood. Way better than rice in my opinion, yet cooking rice for years was my husband's choice.
Whole rice is good too though. White rice might not be that best choice but is not horrible too. Whole grains or pseudo grains are always a great choice. Bulgur, Quinoa, buckwheat, millet... all top choices.
I loveeeeee bulgur. I eat it almost everyday. I love the texture and I knew it was better than white rice but I didnt know about all the nutritional facts about it. Great vid. Loved it. I am Turkish by the way. Bulgur is way more popular here in mid.east/ mediterrenean than the rest of the world. Big hugs and kisses to Sena for doing the speech.
Wolf Yener Ozer In Jamaica it’s pretty popular. I have been only bulgur instead of white rice for years I recently ate white rice an to my surprise I didn’t like it anymore
Peace be onto u and your people
@@davidclarke6117 it's also popular in my country Haiti
but the glicemic index?is it high?
@@giovannimannelli2158 i read its only in the 40s on the index
Hello from Lagos, Nigeria. So I’ve been eating it for almost a week now. My body feels way better and lighter. It is way better then rice.

@@seanjack8518 Obviously you are not serious and you have no idea of Nigerian food. You should eat more salads. Good for your digestion!
@@surunitemiakanni-oye4346 naija food is high in carbs lets be honest here!!
This is a very good overview from a middle eastern prospective. Here in the USA, bulgar has been around in the vegetarian/vegan community for decades. It was making it taste good that just eluded our way of preparing it. Thankfully with UA-cam and the plethora of chef's from all over the globe, it's easier than ever to put together a stunning meal using humble "BULGAR."❤
I live in Allentown Pennsylvania, the largest Syrian community in the USA. I am in love with their food. Middle East food is a gift from the Heavens!
I love Sanaa's spirit and her accent is so beautiful. Great talk.
I have discovered bulgur wheat and it has now become one of my favourite. I use it to make porridge, it is very nutritious!
Go Sanaa!! Her vegan restaraunt is a hit in Sioux Falls
When i was a kid we use to get free Bulgar in our school they say the bulgars were donated to us from the foreign countries maybe USA. I miss bulgar the taste everything. its been more than 15 years. I haven't even seen Bulgar rice/wheat. We called it rice.
I'm starting eating bulgur and I love it❤💕
Asia Minor or Anatolia or today's Turkey is the top exporter of bulgur. Turkey holds %73 of world bulgur market. Unlike other Middle Eastern countries In turkey bulgur is first , rice is second. And the Top bulgur importer is iraq.
ma non ha un indice glicemico troppo alto?
With all the vegans and vegetarians in Madison Wisconsin, I can't believe it's not in every store. All I could find was a small 8oz. bag at Whole Paycheck and it's ground down to sand grains.
EVERYDAY I ATE BULGUR PORRIDGE WITH TURMERIC AND OKRA...SPRINKLE WITH TOASTED GARLIC 😋
My mother says they used to eat bulghur (we call biday jarma) in 1950s here in Central Asia - Kazakhstan. But these days we don't have it in our cuisine. Surprising - since we are big in wheat production. Want to try production of this cereal
I love bulgur, it's the best... Have lost a lot of weight eating it with beans!! It's getting popular here.. 🤝🏻 Hello from Nigeria...
Hello from USA .
Yes it is @Nigeria
The bulgar eased my constipation issue.
I been eating this for a month and I am hooked I even tried some on my chilli for fiber
Thanks a lot for this informative, beautiful ad fascinating talk. Although I already eat bulgur a lot, some of the facts mentioned about its benefits are new for me.
I use to eat bulgur back when i was elementary. They gave this at school for snack. It is really delicious.
Thank you Sanaa. I started adding Bulgur to my diet, it delicious im from the Island of Jamaica.
From Haiti we eat it a lot eating some as I speak
@@highlyfavoredMG haaaa lol give me some of your recipes please . I'm a beginner.
@@highlyfavoredMG great
@@optique4 sorry I did not see your comment.Pretty much you can make it similar to rice depending if you want it very soft or a little on the hard side...We sometimes make it with peas or beans. Some olive oil, spices, bean or peas, coconut milk, add some hot water to the pot, let it boil. Then add your bulgar wheat, stir it let it cook, once all the water dries up,cover it up and lower your heat to low. Let it cook more and taste to know when it's ready.
@@highlyfavoredMG thanks for replying. I try your suggestions
Bulgur with ground turkey uffff the best

On the hunt for village bulgar as I live in Turkiye
.
Bulgur is misspelled in the description. It's bulgur, not bulgar.
I love tabouli salad and has lots of bulgur wheat
O wow, what a lovely lady, she really made me smile. I cooked bulgur wheat for the first time tonight- because it says it’s cracked durum wheat I thought it was tiny pasta! But it seems I was very wrong! After a long time of transitioning from veggie to vegan I am so grateful to hear this is so nutritionally great! I will definitely be having it as a quick cook grain.
Some body else watching this video during the 15 min bulgur cooking time? 😂
🙏🏾
💕💕
I love me some ble (bulgur) 🇭🇹
what is the best brand of bulgur to buy?
i like red bulgur #3 size
💘 Great 👌 🎥💙❤💚
❤
I love bulgur as well but it is high in lectine. Also it can deplete your iron since it is a whole grain.
Hmmm something to think about .
that's why it has some iron in it
Hello. Soaking for several hours and cooking grains can inactivate most lectins. Greetings
🚔🚨
Nice Thoughts
I love bulgar
Lol poor people with good health that’s what we’ll be
bulgar... hmmm... sounds good:) like the video.
Thank you.
Liked by # SIDNAAZ fan 👍🙌🤗🐘
I am not sure for those who have gluten intolerance.
there is no such thing as glucose intolerance. made up concept
Why bulgur wheat is better than wheat? It is wheat.
vitamin content is much higher than other wheat
it's basically whole wheat rice and almost better than rice in any means, if you like the taste there is no reason to don't consume bulgur whenever you would consume rice
What?!
BULGURGLE!
Bulgur is a very common food in the middle east since thousands of years. Thats why will kill each other all the time.
Burgul she calls it lol
Bulgur has more carbs and calories than white rice,so how is it healthier??
@@frobb7232 yeah but they say it's good for weight loss, it's not
@@sandjaiasarfi4506 if you feel fuller for longer due to the fibre you’ll eat less cals overall in one day. Many non western diets are carb heavy (whole carbs) and they are thinner than westerners (typically)
What kind of white rice hav u been eating ?! Bulgur def has lower cals
No check again
Bulgur has lower calories
Pseudo logic! Grains are killer
10,000 years from Mesopotamia and Tigris in ancient Egypt, humanity has grown to the present day based on the staple cereal grains, so shut it!
In the areas of the world, where the people who live the longest (known as “Blue Zones”) , they all eat whole grains.
No way Bro. Whole grains are associated with lower risk of diabetes and colorectal cancer. If someone has coeliac disease and eats wheat of course would be life threatening. But if not, grains are healthy foods. Greetings
Bulgur gave me uncomfortable bloating the pain . Make it stop
