Gwen has her good and bad moments just like any artist does but I’ve only ever seen her lip sync once and that was like in 2002 on let me blow ya mind with eve but literally have never seen her do it again. I’ve seen her live in concert and she is one of the most energetic performers out there and I’m so glad that she gives live vocals everytime.. that’s more than you can say with so many artists these days and even older artists too. Gwen is great, I will say that she sounds better live with the no doubt stuff then she does with her solo pop stuff but overall she’s still amazing and I love her. A true icon!

They did, traditionally it’s done prior to the inaugural Cruise, but the inaugural was the week of Christmas, so that delayed this ceremony…good to hear from you again
Not everyone in Texas listens to country music. This port also brings in people from all over, not just Texas. They paid homage to Texas and the cowboy heritage with the roper, cowboy hats, boots etc. There’s more to Texas than that stereotype though
Gwen never lip syncs. She started off doing live shows in a garage band. Very different than most pop divas. She may be a little off at times but she always sings live. Billboard named her #37 on list of all time greatest rock lead singers last summer. One of only a handful of women on the list.
I'm glad she went with lip syncing to track this time around. Last week at Cali Vibes, she didn't sound her best. It was like her voice was strained and she got real breathy. So I'm glad the cruise allowed for a backing track. It really sticks out on the second song for sure. You can tell there's a backing track and when she decides to speak. Or even when she sings in between the vocals of the backing track. I'm not hating on Gwen at all either. I just think rehearsals may have really gotten to her the last few weeks and her voice suffered from it. It happens.
She sounded great on cali vibes, the main difference is this is much shorter set and way smaller stage for her to cover, she doesn’t run nor jump around like she normally does, so her voice is consistent throughout. But she definitely doesn’t lipsync on both events. She’s well known for adlibs and sometimes screw up her lyrics.
She never lips syncs; but she always have a backing track. But, I agree Cali Vibes she was having too much fun and running around; that’s good to see. The sound engineering wasn’t great (hard at festivals as each artist has dif sound set ups). Coachella will be interesting. 😂 She’s already mentioned she’s trying to find out if there are trusses she can climb. 😂
