Great tip! Sometimes we like to board early, have lunch and roam around, sometimes we prefer to board later it really just depends. When we check-in later, we carry on our luggage and go straight to the room so this sometimes works great for shorter sailings.
Thanks for the comment. Good point. We'll, here's a little secret (don't tell anyone, lol) we always drop our bags in the room as soon as we get on board. Another reason why its good to have the early time is so you can just walk on board if they already called your time, no stress to get there in time.
Yes, we're early boarders also! We have the same plan once we get on. I do believe that fttf checks in with diamond-platinum-suites which is 2 days ahead of all others, so that could be advantageous. 😎👍
Hi there! Great video! I’ve watched this many times in preparation for our upcoming cruise. Question: After you select the time and the screen automatically advances, does that “lock” the time in? Or is there a button at the end I will need to click to lock the time in? Thank you in advance!
@@sheilacahill906 the arrival time will be set for all parties associated with the booking number of all in your cabin. However, each person must answer all questions that pertain to them. These can all be done at later times after you lock in your arrival time.
Apparently, it may vary at different ports. We typically sail out of Miami and the way its set up at terminal F, if you're D, P or suite they put you in the VIP Section. Not sure of FTTF is mixed in there as well but the last few times, I noticed that it seems like they call Diamond and General Guests with "A01" at the same time. Because we are platinum, like I said it seems to us that general boarding is getting on board before we do. Thanks for watching
It really doesn't matter which way is faster. Most ignore the boarding times and show up whenever they want. Cruise lines don't enforce times so it ends up being a shit show. We live in a time of ENTITLEMENT and nobody cares
@brianbray2262 Thanks for watching and commenting. Our experience with carnival, they actually do honor the times. But agree with you, I get it. It could still be chaotic at times.

I’ll let you two know how it works out next time.

Does it check in all parties in your room, or does each person need to do it separately?

Great tip!!! Thanks...
Thanks for watching, good luck checking in.
Do I have to do that for everyone in the group? we are family of 4 with two cabins booked.
@@JaimesMom per cabin or one person from each cabin can do it at the same time , thanks for watching
Yes
Was this done on your phone
Yes, workes like a champ.
