I ride a motorbike to and from work daily, and it is my number 1 main means of transport, i think its cool that tilly decides to go for her car licence but when she failed i hope it made her think that instead of bieng sick of motorbikes, think of how lucky she actually is that she could ride the wind back home after instead of walking/catching a ride, but i dunno... thats just me
damn that is pretty strict, here it was 30 hours u can take extra hours usually ppl take extra 10 more then a few highway rides and a night time drive and the test was around 30-45 min it is strict here but yours seem even crazier
It’s cause it was a school zone. And zones in Australia that are 40km (school, road words, etc), you can’t go over even 1km at any point. If you do it’s an instant fail. It’s for the safety of kids or workers who are working on or near the road.
I’ve had my permit for a while. No rush to get my full license. My dad always tells me “don’t get too confident” and Thomas was way to confident with his driving. And is not ready yet. There’s never a rush to get your full license. Take time and get comfortable with an instructor and short drives with your parents never rush.

I loved Tilly so much, it sucks to fail just because she speeded in the school zone :(

45 mins? Dang Australia takes their time with them lol! Mine took 10 mins and Passed 100% but I guess US dont care xD
I can confirm this is true. I live in the same state this TV show is filmed in. 📺
Well, it depends on the state. For example, in Queensland it's 30 mins.
this is filmed in a state where there are no minimum driving hours
100 hours practice, 6 months on your L plates, and then a 45-minute test where I live, and the pass rate is only 33%

That Tilly decision was harsh, usually it's above 5 kph is a no go not within 5

It’s not even just because it’s a school zone, if a police officer or speed camera in Australia catches someone doing 61 in a 60, they will fine them
@@DeannoPlaysMC3 km leeway
@@curtis6618 not in my experience, I’ve gotten a fine for 41 in a 40 before, thankfully I got it thrown out due to 10 years of good driving
@@DeannoPlaysMC yeah you’re right usually they wouldn’t fine you for 1 over but if you’re unlucky they have all the power to do it. My bad
I feel for the first kid.. He shares my name😢😂

Thomas is obviously dumb at driving.. And Tilly deserves to pass..
not dumb just nervous some ppl get more nervous in tests like these i am bit like that too but its just the first few minutes for me

Did Tilly take her test in bare feet?
The time for the test is well thought out, to have time to do everything with speed under the speed limit. Trying to do it faster is a big mistake.
How come in nsw you have to wait a week to take the test again?
So you can use the time to review the areas where you struggled and focus on improving your driving skills.
