The Apostle Paul writes to the Colossians, who are new Christians, about how the Lord Jesus Christ conquered the sins of our old life by dying on the Cross and rising again. Therefore, we must put away our old way of life and its vices and put on a new life to live for Christ. We do this by attending church and getting into the Scriptures with a personal prayer life.
