I cannot express how happy I am with this one guys, proper max range Ice Shards that deletes everything both on screen and off near automatically in a chain of frosty explosions, let me know what you think! See the Build Here: moba.lol/3rfHSby
I Use very similar build. Every mob at range, I meteor first then ice shard. Immobolise will spread to everyone as well, so if you have devouring blaze amulet, it has very good uptime. I still use avalanch though. If I had enough regen I'd have crit bonus on amulet and the freeze/immobilise/stun bonus on a 2h. But that can be a future test. I do nm 55 at lvl 84 atm. Its pretty solid.
i got a question, isnt the conceited aspect better than the storm swell aspect? 1 reach to 25% more damage only haveing a barrier and the other gets to 20% to vulnerable targets when you got a barrier.
About enchantments, instead of getting 2 points into fire bolt, get just one in fire which is enough for the enchant, and one in ice bolt, so for bosses you can switch ice shards for ice bolt enchantment and stagger them sooo much faster.
A note about your comments during the Paragon Board section when referring to the Icefall board, you mention that the Rare nodes aren't that useful since the enemies are *Frozen* and not *Chilled*. It has been confirmed for a long that that Frozen enemies count as chilled, so these are actually VERY useful nodes.
Wow, great video! This is the most polished one yet with stat thresholds, playstyle, and of course gearing and skill/paragon point allocation. Then also the description of the interactions at play with the different combination is a cherry on top. More than all of that, the passion you bring to every video is incredible (never burn yourself out!). Even if people are not trying the build, they seem to enjoy these videos for the above mentioned positives. Yeah lots of people, rightfully, clown on the video titles but you gotta fo what you gotta do for the algo.
Great build, used it, tweaked it, hear me out.. I have the same gear as him but mana is still a huge issue along with dying at higher nm levels. I got rid of that huge snake thing and incorporated those two swords (forgot the names, bear with me here) and replaced damage gear for the 15-25mana restored per cooldown ring. This increases my damage and survivability. Survivability because now I have a barrier significantly more frequently and damage increased because I can shoot more shards. Yes, the damage per shard is down, but is hardly noticeable. I’m Able to shoot 25ish more shards now per hoard and more damage overall especially when frozen.
Love this build idea, been using your blizzard build for a while and loving it. Primary reason i started using it is because i think a sorceror should be ranged and i dislike how arc lash turns the class into a melee class. This build is even *more* ranged. Ill probably swap to this build once i have all the points and pieces i need, until then that blizzard build still works great. Thanks for all your hard work Josh, its insane how quickly youre able to pump out all these new builds and get the necessary gear for them.
I was a die hard shards/avalance build. Refused to budge because felt nothing could beat it. So I gave your one a shot., even tried that Shatter aspect doing 40% more damage (seems overkill though). Need to admit it mate, this build is better, the clearance speed is immense. cheers for the vid
I've been playing a similar build since day 1. The key difference was that I was using Glacier to wait out nova/teleport cool downs when in trouble, but fire pull is another way to deal with it and removes a 4 second time-out. I'll try it out tonight. Looks fun.
Thanks so much for this build. I used it as a guide to finally get through capstone dungeon to get to WT3 as I was really struggling with other builds. I facerolled through the mobs I was previously getting a hammering from. Although I'm still poorly geared, this build has massive potential. Great vid.
@@RageGamingVideos yeah I know but I just tried 3 builds of urs back to back to see which one I like the best but my favorite rn is 0cd unstable currents
yup its a nice build, im using it for a while now and it easy and fun to play. I have few different things on it tho, 1 - I use Mother's promise ring ( every 5th hit restore 40% of mana, and with ice shards every hit its 5th hit lol ), 2 - ESU boots ( 20% critical change from your speed movements ) 3 - I stop using 1h wpn since i dont need cool down reduction or extra point to mana, with 2h staff i get about 120% to frozen enemies, 90% damage from critical hits ext ( it depends on your staff ) . At this moment i am lev 84 and my max hit with shards are around 320k
No it doesn't,i used to think the same but by the time you are 85+ you will have so much money you can reroll yours and your whole clans skill trees and paragon boards, don't spread rubbish info man. I personally have thrown away 70 mil on rerolls yesterday only and a full char reroll costs around 12 mil iirc
@@EckoUntitl Don't call others rubbish while you have no clue yourself. Have you ever played D3? Do you know how easy it is to change totally different builds within seconds to match the team or just for fun? It is far far beyond just gold and clicking each paragon point. Your comment is so ignorant and laughable.
Loving all these videos. I just have to express my pure frustration with emulating a build, working for aspects and gear, getting everything synergized properly, and having the newer better version come out a week later. I understand this is how content creators operate, and I can't hate on it but...just damn.
I'd be really interested to see your final paragon board set up for this build. I'm level 90, following your guide, and I don't know how control and destruction will be managed with 40 points left. The build is great for clearing packs and speed running through. Getting that momentum going and watching a screen full of mobs shatter is very satisfying, and this is honestly the first ice build I've liked. I've always ended up switching back to arc lash after trying various ice builds, and this is the first one I want to keep for awhile. But I'm curious to see what a final board looks like that doesn't scrimp on the mana bonuses and non-physical nodes that make the build work so well. But a really satisfying build. Thanks for the work you're doing.
I played a lot around with the planner, but since he spends a lot of points on the enchantment master board for ATK speed, mana and non-physical dmg, I am unable to fit 6 runes into the build. I should be able to activate 5 runes and get a lot of passives from the different boards, but have to let go of destruction or control - which annoys me both.
@@falc410 My plan has been to go up and around to the left from the Icefall node to get Control in that glyph spot. It feels worth the points, because you'll see there's non-physical and chill damage along that path. But, that will be the end of my points. Five glyphs. I think he hadn't worked out the paragon board before making the video, so he vastly overestimated how many points there were to work with.
@@prismmonkey I played around with it and managed to fit 6 glyphs by skipping the extra mana but instead of going for the 10% lucky hit on frigid fate. So i can fit control and destruction in the last two boards. Still not sure if I’m 100% happy with it. For ice shards it should be ok, but not for blizzard. And I tried switching from avalanche to shatter but then I always run out of mana. Even tested with the additional 20 mana from the enchantment board but it doesn’t help. 😢
Every time i watch another Sorc Build Guide, and we get to the Defensives part, that Scene from Leon pops up again in my head. It was just sooo good and fitting 😂 "EVERYONE!!!!!"
Thank you for making this. I was considering changing classes, which, kind of made me want to quit playing D4. However, I play with family and it is personally important to find a way to play regardless of my feelings about the D4. since I want to spend time with my family doing things they enjoy and some of my family really enjoys D4. You have enable me to enjoy playing the game, which, makes my time spent playing this with my family all the more enjoyable. Thank you so much! I truly cannot express how much I appreciate your content.
OMG. I’ve just perfected your arc lash build. Now I want to try this one 😂 On a positive I have enough gold to clear the paragon board and I have the uniques that needed for this build! I’m gonna try it tonight 😊
Hey mate, great build, i just hit 100 with it. Only one thing i would add is that frozen enemies are counted as chilled, so go for glyph in Icefall board 100% go through Polar Rime node which gives you 15%to chilled and 10 non phys dmg bonus. Also that unique armor is useless in this build imo, better go with armor stacking aspect
nah the uniques synergize so well. the pants are HUGE - 20% chance on death to Nova. I haven't seen the gloves drop yet and they're arguably the most powerful piece with chance to freeze & lucky hit primary resource
@@meast33 I agree with pants and gloves, have several of them and they are amazing. I just meant no need for unique armor for that build because u can easily kill everything from distance. That uniq armor is better for arc lash build
Absolutely love the guides but please help us out by making the title describe the version of the build (e.g. ice shards v1, v2, ...). But honestly so impressed at how you can theorycraft so fast
I notice on alot of your builds you opt to go for rare nodes instead of going to a new paragon board an inserting a glyph and getting max stats on the said glyph. I shaved some rare nodes off on the endless currents build you did, and went a got 6th board with frostbite glyph, which gives 132% more damage to chilled enemies. Since fozen enemies are confirmed also to be affected by chilled via a tweet from one of the developers. I do insane damage now with that build. I am also going to do this build before season 1 and do the same.
i sacrificed 52.5% damage to stunned, and 20% lightning damage(as well as some crackling energy damage) to do this. Also, to make build more tanky, instead of doing territorial for 10% damage(which doesn't stack) from defensive skills, you can spend less pts and put in reinforced(which also boosts the rare nodes) for taking -10% damage while you have a barrier.
@@vzwson4995 more tanky overall. the damage reduction from elites is really the only rare node I went far out of the way for by itself. I am lev 100, and I can solo up to tier 70 fairly easy with this build.
I had to give you a sub after your blizzard build basically revived the game for me. Now Blizzard has shadow nerfed the blizzard build by denying glacial aspect drops, an obvious reaction to the Uber Lilith video. I was about done with the game after that but can't wait to give this a try. I was already playing a different version of your blizzard build using shatter. I just loved watching them all pop and explode! Now that it is a designed part of this build I think I will just model after this completely. Thanks for putting in all the work you do for those of us, like myself who just don't have time for the research.
Hey all. i was trying this build out before season one. fast forward to end of season 2 and im bored so wanted to go back and see this build again. the link is broken. any idea where i can see this build again?
I’ve been using your sorc builds from your first arc lash and just transitioned to ice shard this week. And then this new variant came out and it rocks. A big step up from your high damage ice shards. Looking forward to more!
Thanks for the sorc guides man. I don’t know why I see so many people who get upset by your tittles and build guides but I find them funny. You manage to entertain me as a 15 yr old and even my dad who is 40 finds you funny. Keep up the good work.
This guy needs to make a video on how he finds these attribute rolls on his gear - that was just straight nuts how much his gear was aligned with this build
This is the best iceshard build I have tried so far. This is so fun to play! I got lucky with my unique drops. At first i was using Fist of Fate in place of Frostburn and it was really good at that point but when I finally had the Frostburn glove, it was game over. I can't help but laugh in ausement when I trigger the chain effect of frost and frost nova together with the synergy of the ice shard enchantment. So, massive thanks to you, mate!
rofl I've been running this exact build for the past few days and absolutely loved it. Kinda wondered when someone was going to post a video on it, because it's totally broken. Nice guide!
Level 89 here. Other than the boot aspect (which I’m working on finding) I got this build copied but my mana isn’t keeping up. I can’t figure out what I’m doing wrong.
@@BACON2369 it's not. build is good for aoe and mobs yet if you encounter The Butcher you are done for. Need to have seperate gear for him. You loose mana resource from lucky hit chance when you use frostburn gloves so you need to have your offhand resource on perfect roll. I am still using perfect roll lucky hit chance resource on my gloves and still the regen is not perfect. So I am being a bit reluctant to change from infinite mana to this build atm
@@niklazz7037 I tried the build in the video with a few changes to items and paragon (I'm lvl 100 with all the Renown bonuses). I looted a lvl 93 "Mothers Embrace" (40% refund mana ring). The gear really needs to have high end stats to be functional. The Butcher? Definitely requires the way more Arc Lash tanky builds if you are fighting him above your level in a ND. OR life on hit and blizzard as the other enchant in the build from the video. Its a shame we don't the option to make gear/build sets that can be hot swapped out.
Love having to wait until min 14 to learn that the build requires unique gloves I don't have XD Looks fun tho will test it out if I get a hold of them! Btw frozen enemies also count as chilled so the Frosts paragon node would still apply to the build
@@warlock3691 yeah expected to have a random drop item. Nice, lvl 100 - dont have the item, just refunded my points, to then get to the same realization, i cannot use the build. niiiiiice - he should have stated that or even in the title
Hey Josh, what class will you be doing in the 1st season? And from everything that you have learned from playing sorcerer, has your leveling 1 - 50 build changed, or would you build it differently?
This is a build for low level dungeons or as a supporter in a group. If you play against higher opponents like in 25:23 (shivering mothers herald) you will have no chance (although this is also low level). With his equipment the conditional probability that you freeze someone and the effect jumps afterwards is: 0.43x0.25x0.48=0.052 so 5.16%. You shoot 5 ice shards so the probability that one of these projectiles freezes someone and the effect is passed on is 25.8%. With every further opponent where the ice shard jumps this probability decreases. With the second opponent the probability drops to 6.7%, with the third to 0.4% and so on. But even if it would be 100% it is still bad because: 1) You have to use 2 unique items whose stats are far from good and you give away 8 stats slots. 2) You have to increase your lucky hit chance as much as possible, giving away more value slots. 3) The most important thing even if all this would not be the thing freezes the opponent only 2 seconds! After that you can't freeze an elite opponent by Ice Nova for a certain period of time. Believe me you will not kill enemies in higher dungeon with these stats in 2 seconds. Even if they are only a little stronger like at 25:23, killing them with these stats in 2 seconds won't work. It's much more effective to use your Ice Nova with a freez time of 4 to 5 seconds which also directly freezes all other enemies around him. This build is very good if you run in a group and people around you do very high damage and you serve as a supporter. In the best case you should use this as a second equipment.
Hi, this makes a lot of sense. So if I am using frostburn gloves and freeze them for 2 seconds then use frost nova it wont work? I think this has happened to me before lol.
@@niklazz7037 Yes frost nova will not work for a certain period of time. There is something like a cool down of 5 seconds until u can freeze them again. Try a 70+ dungeon with these gloves and you will die every 5 seconds :). But this build is still useful in a group as supporter.
@@og2hot The one that when you use a cool down, grants you 15-25 mana. Or the one that burning enimy grants 10% LCH to restore 10 -17 mana. The later one is more rare.
Ngl bro since I been playing Diablo 4 been using ur builds, this my first Diablo game and u really got me too lvl 100 using ur builds thank you brodie💯💯
Hi! Please update your guides with a leveling guide on character progression, as it would be very convenient for people who decided to try to play your guide.
Honestly, given the amount of late game gear this needs to work properly, I'd recommend people just look up a seperate leveling build, like a chain lightening build, on then just reset and reallocate points to build this one out once you have the required gear.
Ok, i'm convinced now that I need to respec to an ice shards build. This looks like the Shotgun build I ran on my Crusader in D3. Thanks for this video!
This is gonna be hard to understand but stay with me, say you having something that's the best, then you make it BETTER through testing and work, then what you now have is a better version of the best build, also known as the now new best build, you have that happening for Arc Lash, for Ice Shards, for all the meta options and wow you see new best builds popping up, each time the title being accurate.
Nice build! Got it running very clean :) can you change the : aspect of fortune - to be on the headpiece in the build for future players. since its most essential aspect for the build. and you kinda play around with the boots between speed & def.
All these builds look fun on paper but are useless in NMD. So if you don’t plan on pushing higher 70+ NMD then by all means have fun. Otherwise you get one shot by a simple touch of a mob
This is a great build until the Butcher runs up, or you face a hard boss, and all that freeze is completely useless along with being soft on defense, damage reduction/armor because most of your aspect work with freeze. I changed out of relying on CC as much as things that work well on the Butcher after he kicked my ass at level 30. I designed my shards build for Butcher specifically, because screw that guy! For anything else this is a very good build, better than mine, and good paragon path especially. Love your gear stats. 177 mana with shards down to 21 is nice. 🤘
@@RageGamingVideos so every day the build gets better? So u telling me that every day you test different sorc builds and every day the new sorc build is better than yesterday’s build?
I was accidentally running this build lol, I ended up switching out some of the gear because I found even without the uniques equipped I was still clearing the entire screen. I ended up focusing with some single target damage more. I was level 72 running 40+ tier maps and as long as I didn’t get hit too hard I’d pretty much clear the screen. Then the boss would go down easy because I switched off all the aoe from shatter and the uniques.
Been playing this for the past 3 days and I love it. I knew what this was gonna be when i Saw the vid picture and text and this is very close to my build. 😉
Love the build mate! Great work yet again. Still need the Frostburn gloves to drop and cant get the Raiment for the life of me but now maybe wont need it. Dont sweat the haters. I understand that when you IMPROVE the old best build then it makes since this is the NEW best ice shards post patch
I was looking for a discussion about the variant I have been playing. I was following the Maxroll Ice Shards guide, but couldn't get myself to ditch the Icheart Brais. The guide also didnt even mention Icheart, nor did it touch on Shared Misery. I read about the Frostburn on a list of Uniques available for the current state of the game. As I was looking for Frostburn, I decided to search youtube and here you are... I am literally short on the Frostburn, and my build is exactly what you are talking about in this video. Great build. Even more fun with Deep Freeze (a real emergency button🙂, though deathpulse is a nasty little surprize when coming out of the ice block)
How do you get all these good aspects imprinted, where do you find them at ?!. I can’t seem to find a mana aspect so that I can infinitely cast the ice shards. That’s what ruins this build for me sadly.
Absolutely love you guys, started following you in Elden Ring, and not only are your builds S tier, but the vids are very entertaining as well. Love this build, but maybe I missed it, don’t see a build link in here. Can you please add one?
My only comment is that with raiment of the infinite, inferno can be ditched for deep freeze which I love. Every now and then you’ll get low on mana or heath and can hit this. With kill heals and time to build up mana during your immunity, it’s an amazing ace in the hole. Otherwise, I’ve been rocking this build for the past week and it’s amazing
My issue with Deep Freeze is that sometimes it doesn't work : the animation starts but somehow the enemies manage to instantly knock you out of it. And you can't do it again because the cooldown started. Probably a bug since it should make you invincible during the duration...
@@armorvil It happened to me too. But soon I realized that I accidentally pressed twice so it stopped and the cooldown started. Deep Freeze is not deadly like inferno, but it protect you from danger context, like boss fight. Anyway Inferno for better efficiency, Deep Freeze for escape from danger. It depends on your playstyle.
@@armorvil yeah that’s never happened to me. Armorvil sounds like he had the cause of that. Or you’re controller/keyboard may be a bit glitchy. I find it super nice that I can cancel it though if I’ve killed everyone around me and it also lets you heal while in there too
I used quite the similar build, in the end it almost always works the same but what I specifically noticed is that I have 0 issues with armies of enemies. The issue comes into play once I have a single target which really starts to eat the mana and if it's an Elite that goes into CC-Immunity, there isn't really much you can do about it but hope to survive. Same thing applies to bosses where the damage output is just terrible. Hence the idea from @Don_Hide seems more valuable to me. I'm just lazy in switching skills and stuff for every boss battle lol.
I tried it out on my lvl 70 Sor, facing similar issue like you do, and also facing resource/lucky hit issue too. It is awesome in a group of mobs but when facing boss or single elite it is not good. i believe this setup demands very good gear, and I switched back to be my happy blizzard. The same unique pants in blizzard build has very similar effect, groups of enemies dies in a huge chain reaction.
I've had this problem ever since I switched to Ice around 78. I have been doing a ice shard / blizzard hybrid the entire time. I enjoy leaning towards the shards because of the damage and clear, but being able to kite and blizzard tf out of them after they get out of cc is nice. I have a sweet spot where I use this build for the most part, but double nova and frost burn (want more vulnerable), and replace the lucky hit with immobilize boots, add a defense on legs, and throw on the blizzard spikes on a ring. Then I can pop flame, stun with ROI, and nova and melt elites as much as possible before kiting a bit with blizzard and spraying. Everything below lvl Nightmare 50 gets easily melted by the trio of control before they are out of freeze. I'm lvl 91 with solid gear.
Very nice work. I have all the uniques and the aspects. But the stats on the base gear is going to be a problem for now, but something to save towards.
Dang, I love Ice Shards so much! Great build idea. Will try it out as soon as I can lay my hands on the unique gloves and pants. Can't wait for other builds. Your content is dope!
Been using the same exact build for weeks.. but today i changed my mind after being one shot all the time i dont want to be a glass canon anymore ao went from 5500HP to 9000HP now with temerity barrier (5k), im litteraly tanking all the elites and mobs + dungeon affixes and added alot of crit chance and damage to compensate. Working better ma ghee, no more dying everything seems easier.
I've been running endless nightmare dungeons and helltides and to date, I've gotten 4 unique items, 3 of which were Staffs of Lam Esen. And for this - admittedly amazing build - to work, I only need 4 very specific uniques. FML.
For paragon board: 1. Doesn't chill also include frozen enemies? I.e. we should go for damage to chilled enemies nodes? 2. How is Flamefeeder instead of Tactician for the glyph on the Frigid Gate Board (#3)? For the 50% or so extra damage to burning enemies?
Chill damage % increase is also applied to frozen correct. Devs confirmed this apparently a while ago. For flamefeeder im not sure, but i see a lot of people tagging it onto the end of their paragon board via searing heat. Something upwards of like 77% extra damage to burning enemies when setup correctly. I looked at the numbers compared to running the 38%+ vulnerable damage from using control in burning instinct in a similar fashion and found they both give me around 160k dps on top of everything else i like/use. I wanted to see if i could ditch either of these boards for more points in other stuff earlier so i have that info on hand :P
Without Aspect of Biting Cold the enemies frozen by Frostburn are not vulnerable right? So theoretically flamefeeder would be better in general? Also the whole top cluster in the icefall board for non-physical damage and chill damage would seem to be a huge benefit?
What happened to ‘a frozen enemy is a chilled one’ I heard so much about? Is that not a thing after all? I ask because he says not to grab chilled damage on the paragon board because they are frozen not chilled.
I saw this vid when it came out and finally getting around to trying it out. I'm not even geared close to what's recommended, missing stats, missing aspects, etc. But holy hell this just decimates so easily without even trying.
Switched to this build after leveling up to 60 from arc lash. Just got all my uniques and this build is soooo much more fun. If you are bored running arc lash/unstable, I highly recommend switching over.
I would like to thank you for putting this build together and detailing it, having so much fun with it. I feel like I'm playing my strafe zon from D2, , the only thing that would make this build better is a valkerye
I tried this, was daft , I made the build, reset paragon boards, changed up gear ( had 4 uniques, Chest Hands, Boots and legs) enchanted, aspected, gemmed etc, go out to test and try and shoot shoot, no mana, , elite fight, shoot shoot shoot no mana, stand around like a lemon , run away, run away, pop ice armour, keep running, no mana, run some more no mana, oohh, shoot some more, no mana, meh! Now used my old gear to pull aspects and salvage gear for mats, spent 4 mill gold and not happy with the build ( in fairness was under all recommended %'s for crit etc, but wasn't too far off around 3-6% at most) Went back to (your) iceshards build, and because i was a stoopid and slavaged most of the gear extracted aspects its not same gear and now my sorc plays like horse poop. I accidently salvaged my unique boots ( one that leaves frost trails and chills) and can't restore, day is ruined. So as he says in video make sure you have all your shit together before doing this, he's not wrong, don't even think that slightly less %'s are okay, trust me they aren't...... Good build though, it's how I want to play a sorcerer, at range and pew pew - at least will work towards this more and have the numbers in mind. Thanks a lot :)
Build looks good, but i have some thoughts: First, i think you cant go rly high on nightmare dungeons with this. By rly High, i mean 60+ Dungeons. This Build loses too much damage, which you need against Boss Fights. So you will be stuck when playing solo at probably 60 or lower level dungeons. Also the normal ice shards version hits harder, and just need a bit more control. And the Freeze doesnt proc super fast, so you will have to deal with enemies. So theres not a huge difference to the normal ice shard version. In my opinion: Funny Build, Chill to play;), but not the better choice. I crit for 60k constantly and farm 50 dungeons way much faster. (maxroll ice shard version)
This is essentially the set up I settled on from your last ice shards video. Was going through my stash and noticed the unique gloves, and the epiphany hit me. Once you get the Icefall legendary node this build REALLY comes online and the lucky hit just becomes absurd due to near permanent barrier uptime. They only thing I really need now is better rolls on the gloves and pants for more consistent auto freezes. I do have an aspect that increases shatter damage by another 40% so I think I'll try to fit that in somewhere for even more stupid burst.
I cannot express how happy I am with this one guys, proper max range Ice Shards that deletes everything both on screen and off near automatically in a chain of frosty explosions, let me know what you think!
See the Build Here: moba.lol/3rfHSby
Absolutely love that you guys covered this one. Thoughts on keeping meteor ? Feels good for some of those DR bubble mobs.
@@loganboyd10 Yeah having Meteor instead of Inferno is very viable here
But you like this more than arc lash build????

Same. I just wish they would give us build loadouts so we could easily switch between builds lol
What video is that blizzard build? I’m kinda running a self made blizzard build….
You folks are silly. Add blizz to this build. Lol. Aspect starved yes. But an interesting idea
I'm using a ice shards/blizzard build right now and I'm not having any problems with it.
@@gakkieNLI can’t remember the exact time he posted it, but if you find an aspect that gives blizzard exploding ice spikes, it is soooo good with it!
Looks fun.
Just wanted to add that Frozen enemies count as Chilled too, so those are indeed big boi numbers you skip out on if you don't grab those nodes.
Thanks so much for this build. I used it as a guide to finally get through capstone dungeon to get to WT3 as I was really struggling with other builds. I facerolled through the mobs I was previously getting a hammering from. Although I'm still poorly geared, this build has massive potential. Great vid.

@@RageGamingVideos yeah the cluster of numbers are giving me so much dopamine 😂
Yeah me too lol
yup its a nice build, im using it for a while now and it easy and fun to play.
Hi there. What's the highest NM dungeon you've cleared so far?
Blizzard really should make rebuild free and easy. It’s fun to try different builds in such a game, while the current game design forbids such fun.
You jerk... when you did the brrrt oversampling for the ice shards... I laughed so hard I spit coffee into my keyboard. LoL. subbed.
Every time i watch another Sorc Build Guide, and we get to the Defensives part, that Scene from Leon pops up again in my head. It was just sooo good and fitting 😂 "EVERYONE!!!!!"
The Professional, lol perfect fitting
Thank you for making this. I was considering changing classes, which, kind of made me want to quit playing D4. However, I play with family and it is personally important to find a way to play regardless of my feelings about the D4. since I want to spend time with my family doing things they enjoy and some of my family really enjoys D4. You have enable me to enjoy playing the game, which, makes my time spent playing this with my family all the more enjoyable. Thank you so much! I truly cannot express how much I appreciate your content.
OMG. I’ve just perfected your arc lash build. Now I want to try this one 😂
On a positive I have enough gold to clear the paragon board and I have the uniques that needed for this build!
I’m gonna try it tonight 😊
arc lash is pretty bad now anyways
@@jordiw913 I wouldn’t say it was bad. It’s still my favourite setup. And the most fun.
I switched from arc lash only to CL+arc lash, but never tried ice shard, will check if I have all gear/aspects
I was getting bored with Ice Shards until I saw this build. Now I'm pushing to 100. Thanks!
Can you share your paragon board bro? Or just tell me the rare nodes you cut.
I think this is the play for sure.
@@javanallen8169hed not even using territorial?

These gloves are very important to the build, I still haven’t found em
I had to give you a sub after your blizzard build basically revived the game for me. Now Blizzard has shadow nerfed the blizzard build by denying glacial aspect drops, an obvious reaction to the Uber Lilith video. I was about done with the game after that but can't wait to give this a try. I was already playing a different version of your blizzard build using shatter. I just loved watching them all pop and explode! Now that it is a designed part of this build I think I will just model after this completely. Thanks for putting in all the work you do for those of us, like myself who just don't have time for the research.
This is pretty cool. Looks like the gear requirements and paragon needs are pretty high. Something to work towards though!
Broooo… I put together about 80 percent of this build. And it wrecks. I’ve been stuck at nm 29 with a ice shard/blizzard hybrid build. Thank you
I was aiming for your last build but I’m still level 45!! Definitely going for this one instead! Hooray ice shards
Hey all. i was trying this build out before season one. fast forward to end of season 2 and im bored so wanted to go back and see this build again. the link is broken. any idea where i can see this build again?
I’ve been using your sorc builds from your first arc lash and just transitioned to ice shard this week. And then this new variant came out and it rocks. A big step up from your high damage ice shards. Looking forward to more!
Thanks for the sorc guides man. I don’t know why I see so many people who get upset by your tittles and build guides but I find them funny. You manage to entertain me as a 15 yr old and even my dad who is 40 finds you funny. Keep up the good work.
because they're anywhere from 5-10 days too slow, good players have already figured this stuff out
This guy needs to make a video on how he finds these attribute rolls on his gear - that was just straight nuts how much his gear was aligned with this build
Most likely, helltide runs focusing on specific wear location chests + focused obal purchases in tier 4
He's been playing the game since launch, so he's got plenty of legendary drops from grinding.
This is the best iceshard build I have tried so far. This is so fun to play! I got lucky with my unique drops. At first i was using Fist of Fate in place of Frostburn and it was really good at that point but when I finally had the Frostburn glove, it was game over. Level 89 here. Other than the boot aspect (which I’m working on finding) I got this build copied but my mana isn’t keeping up. I can’t figure out what I’m doing wrong.
Same here after trying.. Remove critical chance from ring and put get mana back on using cool down. That should solve some but not totally..
Look at his gear, its near perfection for the build.
Literally been playing this exact same build for weeks and posted in on reddit nearly 2 weeks ago. Glad you came up with it though.
Hey Josh, what class will you be doing in the 1st season? And from everything that you have learned from playing sorcerer, has your leveling 1 - 50 build changed, or would you build it differently?
Best build I have come across by far. Thank you so much
You should have given a warning that this build requires best in slot gear before you went through all of the tree build.
But even if it would be 100% it is still bad because:
1) You have to use 2 unique items whose stats are far from good and you give away 8 stats slots.
PRO TIP: If you are still having mana issue, replace the attack speed aspect to one of the mana restore aspects.

Exactly this video does nothing for someone without all the points to throw at a build

Love the build mate! Great work yet again. Still need the Frostburn gloves to drop and cant get the Raiment for the life of me but now maybe wont need it. Dont sweat the haters. I understand that when you IMPROVE the old best build then it makes since this is the NEW best ice shards post patch
That's rough! I also am in search of those gloves. Hopefully we will get them soon. 🙏🏻
"Though my heart belongs to Arc Lash", I felt that in my soul. Hilarious!!!
Saved my gameplay, thanks!
Great vids earned my sub.
So you need the gear to make this work?
Absolutely love you guys, started following you in Elden Ring, and not only are your builds S tier, but the vids are very entertaining as well. Love this build, but maybe I missed it, don’t see a build link in here. Can you please add one?
I've been running this build for about a week now. I'm loving it! Though I'm not running shatter.
Yeah my friend does that also but drops flame shield and uses blizzard instead with avalanche instead of shatter
Just finally hit level 50 today and I think I’ll be trying this build! Love the content
Dang, I love Ice Shards so much! Great build idea. Will try it out as soon as I can lay my hands on the unique gloves and pants. Can't wait for other builds. Your content is dope!
Awesome! This seems to be the build I was looking for!
Nice Build, thx.😊
Great guide! Will you update the paragon board for lvl 100?
Been using the same exact build for weeks.. but today i changed my mind after being one shot all the time i dont want to be a glass canon anymore ao went from 5500HP to 9000HP now with temerity barrier (5k), im litteraly tanking all the elites and mobs + dungeon affixes and added alot of crit chance and damage to compensate. Working better ma ghee, no more dying everything seems easier.
They told me I could be anything I wanted, so I became a Minigun
I've been running endless nightmare dungeons and helltides and to date, I've gotten 4 unique items, 3 of which were Staffs of Lam Esen. And for this - admittedly amazing build - to work, I only need 4 very specific uniques. FML.
For paragon board:
Nice. Is there a leveling video?
Now used my old gear to pull aspects and salvage gear for mats, spent 4 mill gold and not happy with the build ( in fairness was under all recommended %'s for crit etc, but wasn't too far off around 3-6% at most)
Went back to (your) iceshards build, and because i was a stoopid and slavaged most of the gear extracted aspects its not same gear and now my sorc plays like horse poop.
Build looks good, but i have some thoughts:
First, i think you cant go rly high on nightmare dungeons with this.
Would Snap freeze (9% chance to freeze) be enough as freeze source? To be a able to use different gloves
Every day: wow another “sorcerer new best build huh”
Finishes with the build logs to UA-cam, guys! The new best build!
Does Ice Shard Enchantment proc Restore Primary Resource?
This looks insane! Any text based guide up for this yet?
