- Again and again and again, love it when I get castle rushed during Age of Empires 2 multiplayer games.
Hope you find it funny because I don't while playing Age of Empires Multiplayer with friends..

You can play a lot until you get ranked based on your level. That’s what happened to me :D Lost a lot until i had low ELO and then enemy player is OK.
So nostalgic, i used play with my friends to.
But now, just me alone playing age of empires IV

God, I remember buying this game at a Walmart for $10. I had a windows 98 desktop. I rushed home not know what to expect. I fell in love with this game. Soon I had my friends playing it. Eventually they grew out of it. Occasionally I play it for the nostalgia, wishing I could go back to those elementary school days just running home to turn on my pc and pop this bad boy in 😂.
I prefer to push away thoughts of my childhood (even though it was wonderful for me). This saddens me because I understand that I will no longer be able to return there. This is why I feel sad playing old games. And I only play updated strategies.
For example AOE 2 Definitive. But not the HD version, because it's from my childhood.

I'll never forget playing Mafia 2 at like 15 and thinking wow, this is a time in history I'd absolutely love to to back to and hang with Vito and Joe
I still play it on an old windows xp laptop, runs perfectly, with only need for 1gb of ram
Youre the one that makes me suffer with hurrendous lag on a much too expensive pc
back in those days you just needed 16mb of ram and the game was played with little "lag" (reduced speed), 32mb was recommended for normal speed (i'm not talking about fps, just "realtime" speed)
If hes able to get two castles and 10 janisarries before you get even one castle, you were not going to win that game anyways. Huge skill gap..

@@wildthoughtswiththebigbang2052The biggest jump is from moderate to hard. I didn't see much difference between hard hardest and extreme. That jump from moderate to hard though seemed impossible at first

Yeah, have 5+6 defensive scouts or eagles and it falls apart for them pretty quickly.

AOE (3) American colony was cleaner, and villagers more detailed in tasks, but the combat was dam awful.
No squad formation, and the musket men just running around like headless chickens.
It’s AOE 2 or nothing……
You think that’s bad…. Vikings can be made in barracks and come out every 3 secs….. instead of the Castle 😈 I was a Dirt Devil during the early Days

If you want to play with others you should buy it from Steam or from Microsoft Store.
I think Microsoft created an Age of Empires mobile game also if you’d like to check it out.
This game is an old one which had graphics improved. Back then Age of Empires 2 appeared, we didn’t have phones that were so powerful that you could play these kind of games on them.
Thank you dear I know that there is a game for mobile but I liked the style of this game and I was hoping to get a copy of it on a mobile

Whenever I get into these situations. I take the slow death approach and hope my partner can roll. Just try to be as annoying as possible. Happened last night. Actually. We won I lost 2/3 of my villagers and was castled for half the game.

Lol reminds my old days where i was basically the only veteran in fps and rts and everytime me and my school mate play they either do a 1v7 challenge or barred me from attacking first 20 minutes and can only defend my team mate

How do I get the latest version?
From Steam or Microsoft Store. It’s called AOE 2 Definitive Edition.
I think Microsoft also has a monthly subscription called GamePass that includeS AOE.
You can start it as a trial so you can check it out for free.
I used to play it with my brothers g(old)
Build some mangonels and monks before it comes and it turns into the easiest victory you've had in about 10 seconds.
