The domino effect of disaster was handled like a zen master Steph. I’ve been in that situation for the past few months and got to the point where I shouted at the universe…’Bring it on universe…. Try and break me …. Just try!’ There comes a point where you realise that ‘the only way round is through’. Attitude is everything.
It tickles me to see Stephanie loving on Lancelot after being adamant about not wanting a dog. Your heart has been changed.
Your window urgently needs paint and fresh caulking. You don’t want the wood to rot.

Yes, I thought that too. I particularly like the way Billy Petherick repaints his windows using silicone instead of putty and then adding wooden beading over the glass. Easier and a better waterproof seal I feel.
I've waited until I could binge watch the whole trip, what a fantastic journey. You are much braver than I when it comes to food. So glad that you made it home safely. The Umbrella you bought for Philip is a wonderful gift. I had one many years ago, I had it a long time before someone walked off with it out of my office at work. They aren't cheap but worth every penny. I bought mine through an import shop in Toronto.
Good thing the video was short - you only needed to look positive for a shorter time. I would have give up, and probably would have exclaimed 'oh, stuff the audience - I'm going to bed'. Well done, and welcome home. Sleep well!

I was thinking the same, but then I remembered how awkward I am at receiving gifts. Let alone without any cameras 😅 And perhaps after seeing her vlogs in Japan, he will understand a bit more why it's special. After all, Japan DOES love umbrellas! (I live there)

Thank you for taking us along this gorgeous mini holiday. Sorry about the unfortunate circumstance with the car. Thankfully you were not stranded in the middle of the night. Although with jet lag, I'm sure it may have well been the middle of the night. Particularly when all one desires is returning home as quickly and efficiently as possible.
