The most Harlequins game EVER! I screamed, I shouted, I jumped off the sofa. I even broke the golden rule and cheered a missed conversion. 2 out of 2 knockout wins for Quins. They’ve basically won the Champions Cup right?
As a Bordeaux fan, I’m very sad that the European adventure ends here . They were not on the pitch for the first 20min and they can’t blame anything except themselves. In the other hand, what a game by the Quins ! They were sublime and never gave up. A brilliant match with a beautiful winner
That's two 83 point matches this wkend with Waratahs/Crusaders & Bordeaux/Quins! Well done Quins for making their 1st ever Champions Cup Semi after lifting the Challenge Cup 3 times, will be a great semi vs Toulouse/Exeter.
This absolutely demonstrates the ups & downs of being a Quins supporter. For 33 years, I've supported my wonderful team & when it works...it really, really works. Epic match. COYQ!!!
Great game, gutted for UBB but well done quins. Absolutely shocked by the scrum and fwds dominance. Didn't see that coming at all. One thing i did get right was expecting lotsa points. Beaut day for running rugby and crazy plays
No scrum no win. The truths of rugby are eternal. Harlequins deserved their victory and gave a lesson in English flair to a valiant but scrappy Bordeaux side.
Just a great match all round. Baxter just said he's a test match scrummager. He's getting capped. Just can't believe I saw that. I had Quins to lose by 30!
Great game, as expected a try fest. Dispointed for Bordeaux but huge congrats Harlequins, that's why they are my favourite english team. What a joy to watch this team. Gotta love their Mindset. As for UBB seems that pressure finally caught with them, you could tell right from the start with unsual errors in the backline. Still a young team on European scene. Not fan of of this Bordeaux public though.
All I’ll say is, it’s a shame Adam Jones and Gatland don’t get along anymore because Wales neeed that man in the coaching set up! He’s transformed Dillon Lewis into a scrummaging animal
I watched it on French TV. Totally biased French commentary a bit annoying but understandable. Excellent Harlequins scrum won it in the end. Felt the TMO and ref were influenced by the formidable home support. Amazed at the missed conversion that made the difference.
Blimey, that was tense and unexpected. Agree with your comments re Collier. I think he's been unlucky with injury and he doesn't do the fancy stuff like Mako/Sinkler so Eddie had no interest in him.
I ❤Harlequins because of one simple fact-- they look to play rugby, if they see an opportunity then they go for it! It’s fun, entertaining & inspiring. I’m a Tigers fan but I’m afraid I prefer watching Quins because of the reasons I’ve already stated. Good on you Quins and please don’t change!!!!
What a game, I think both teams went all out to win that which made it thrilling. Maybe Bordeaux lost it with the missed conversion but Harlequins won it by going for the corner every time and rolling the dice. Porter was superb, as was Evans a real pest at the breakdown. I think a few lads put their hands up for the internationals later this year.
ALLEZ LES QUINS!!! ALLEZ LES QUINS!!! ALLEZ LES QUINS!!! DANNY CARES HEIR IS HERE, and his name is Will Porter. What a game from Quins, they were in the ascendancy physically in the scrum on their out in. And for me that made the difference. Fin Baxter and Will Collier take a goddamn bow. All credit to Bordeaux, who ran them close and scored brilliant tries, but they were only in the lead twice; but when their backs got the ball they were scathing. Great game of rugby.
We know Quins are basically all out attack, but I think that Bordeaux defensive performance was the worst I’ve ever seen in any knockout match. Think their defensive coach will be getting his notice
I know they missed jelly bear and penaud, but tim, decade long pod follower. can you stop bagging on on english teams and worshipping the french now. Believe.
one bordeaux try from an obvious illegal double move, the next from a clear forward pass - ref had a shocker in the second half and bowed entirely to the pressure from the home fans.
Quinns played really well. They were dominant the entire game, unfortunately gave away some soft tries. And there were two tries from forward passes for Bordeaux that were not looked at at all. Quinns dominated the scrums from the start. Things are really looking up for them

Well done from a Leinster fan 👏
Fin Baxter is gonna be a test match monster

Amazing atmosphere from the begles today. Been to Bordeaux a lot for work and amazed at how much they’ve come on in the last 10 years !
One of the greatest games in European knockout history.
You’ve not seen nothing like the mighty Quins.
Finn Baxter will be capped this year.

Great match. Harlequin scoring in the last few minutes shows who had the psychological edge. Well deserved win.
The best I have ever seen Quins play.Scrum amazing, out rucking huge French pack, pushover tries a la Brumbies, and a fizzzin back line .Tres amazing 😅
Cracking match, so brilliant. Unsure why Penaud wasn’t playing. But to come back in that atmosphere. After that try was chalked off… AMAZING!!!
Such a shame collier gets injured a lot he should have many more caps for England. Looks like a change of guard as well with Baxter and Porter
This absolutely demonstrates the ups & downs of being a Quins supporter. For 33 years, I've supported my wonderful team & when it works...it really, really works. Epic match.
COYQ!!!
Tim, these hot take videos are awesome for keeping the momentum and excitement between matches. Please keep them coming!
What a game. No ine gave Quins a chance
Unreal game
This game was amazing. Glad im a Quins fan.
Brilliant result!! Well done Quins 👏
Wow!. Didn’t see that happening.
Never in doubt! I can't remember having sweat that much watching a rugby game. An exhilarating and hugely stressful watch.
COYQ
🤩
Best game of club rugby I have seen since the premiership final between harlequins and exeter
Great game, gutted for UBB but well done quins. Absolutely shocked by the scrum and fwds dominance. Didn't see that coming at all. One thing i did get right was expecting lotsa points. Beaut day for running rugby and crazy plays
What a game 😊
Think Quins are a summer team, reminder of that amazing race to the premiership a couple of years agi

Woo-hoo! Well done to the Quins👊
The game of the season. Fantastic. My mate reckons modern rugby is boring and he still refers on the 1970's. Modern rugby 🏉 can be breath taking. 😊
All I’ll say is, it’s a shame Adam
Jones and Gatland don’t get along anymore because Wales neeed that man in the coaching set up! He’s transformed Dillon Lewis into a scrummaging animal
What a win! Quins continue to be such an enigma haha well done boys 👏🏼🔥

Forgot to mention- Adam Jones - Quins scrum coach - brilliant 👏 the scrum won it for Quins. 😊
Great game, great win,

What is your podcast called, I really like the content and would love to hear your podcast?

Knock out rugby brings the unexpected and brilliance in equal measures.
I was 5 minutes away from having a heart attack
Pity smith doesnt get the 10 jersey for England permanently.
Quins going to miss Esterhuizen next season
What a gameeee!!!
currently half time in saints v bulls. is that going to be even more mental??? great games to watch.
ALLEZ LES QUINS!!! ALLEZ LES QUINS!!! ALLEZ LES QUINS!!!

Don’t worry Tim. Nobody saw that coming! Congratulations to Harlequins.
The scrum was a real surprise. Baxter doesn’t look a big man in those terms, but he must have something about him
Bordeaux will have to improve both scrums and defence.
We know Quins are basically all out attack, but I think that Bordeaux defensive performance was the worst I’ve ever seen in any knockout match. Think their defensive coach will be getting his notice
Some day of rugby !! Harlequins , leinster. Great gsmes.
Watch La Rochelle beat the odds too tonight
Nope
Sounds like the game had everything except defense 😂
I feel great. I have no finger nails though.
How heck is Buros not getting capped for France?? He was unreal (from someone who doesnt see much top14)
If Penaud plays, Bourdeaux win.
BUT HE DIDN'T, DID HE!!!
Massive credit to quins.
Watch the bulls upsetsaints tonight, everyone is writing them off.
Hahahahahahahahahahahahahaha
I know they missed jelly bear and penaud, but tim, decade long pod follower. can you stop bagging on on english teams and worshipping the french now. Believe.
Honestly it doesn't matter who won, that game was historic. WTF
From france good game . Harlequins was better yesterday
one bordeaux try from an obvious illegal double move, the next from a clear forward pass - ref had a shocker in the second half and bowed entirely to the pressure from the home fans.
But was it actually rugby - isn’t rugby supposed to be a contest not a game of YGIG?
Great game! No AWESOME game. But Leinster and LA Rochelle looking to up them one for excitement!!
We’re a better side without Marler nowadays, think now is the time to let him go, Baxter must start
Quinns played really well. They were dominant the entire game, unfortunately gave away some soft tries. And there were two tries from forward passes for Bordeaux that were not looked at at all.
Quinns dominated the scrums from the start. Things are really looking up for them
Fin Baxter is legit!
That last kick was taken nowhere near where he touched down
No the french is going to cry fiul against the ref again justblike at the wirld cup after their quarter final exit😂😂😂
Very funny indeed 🤦
world. We write world
rugby are a great sport
