Just put the Dynapower forged in the bag, unbelievable clubs for the price. Was so impressed I tried the Carbon driver, that ended up in the bag as well. Wilson are definitely on to something right now, expecting another big year from their line up
I still have my Wilson D7's after 3 years. I got fitted by the Wilson rep at my local club. Never had a thought to change them, even after trying Mizuno, TM, Ping, etc. The value for money is exceptional for the quality of the clubs. Thank you, Chris for bringing attention to a vastly underrated brand. Love your work 👍🏻
Still love my Wilson C300 Forged with KBS stiff 105g shafts. Also Wilson C300 3 hybrid which feels mint. Have had other Wilson clubs (tried Dynapower Carbon driver, loved the look but stuck with my trusty Callaway Rogue ST max LS as I struggled to square the face and gave me a case of the high rights). Wilson Staff iron range is outstanding, wedges, putters and woods also very good. Not as expensive as the big brands, but also not quite as cheap as they once were. Glad you’re still rocking them Chris, and will be interesting to see them go head to head with the Touras. HNY to you and Dave, so love your banter!
Love my D9 forged Wilsons with stiff flex. Upgraded after getting back into golf with normal D7 with regular shafts. Handicap gone from 24 to 16 since upgrading
Changed to the dynapower forged from the mizuno mp20 mmc’s. And from a 110 grams steelfiber shaft to a 75 grams graphite shaft. Just a few rounds in but happy so far. Fitting is a bit of an issue indeed
Hi Chris, I would not have considered Wilson before but played in Florida last winter with a dynapwr iron set and woods (course rentals) & was really impressed with them. This past season I picked up the carbon driver at a good price ordered a dynapwr forged 7 iron in my specs and it was a go to club for me. I now have a full set of irons ready to game when winter goes away and can't wait to play them.😊 Course management would make great topics to cover Chris, thanks!
Another great video Chris! Definitely wish it was a little longer video watching you and Dave playing a couple holes. My husband and I look forward to your new videos especially with Dave ❤
I’ve been playing Wilson & its varients (Walter Hagen and many signature models over the years) since the ‘70s. My current clubs are the FG Tour 100’s and the FG 62’s but they are from 2014 and all have been blades. Great clubs all.
I got the CB’s the middle of last year and was fitted by a Wilson rep at a demo day. Also have the carbon driver, 2024 wedges and hopefully upgrade my wood and hybrid to the new Wilson 2025 models. Best gear for the money 👍
I have the Wilson CB 2021 model irons and love them. Super soft and when not hit out the middle they are so forgiving. Will most likely upgrade to the 2024 model soon.
Great video. I have the same combo set as you but for me I prefer not being rewarded for a miss hit as it doesn’t make want to become better, therefore I’m not interested in game improvement irons. Wilson will always be my go to club as they are bang for buck just as good as the other more expensive brands. I’ve tried other brands, the Titleist 620 CB was the closest in feeling to the Wilson’s but the premium you need to pay is not worth it, unless you go second hand. Keep up the good work!
I live in Canada and just got the wilson 2024 cb irons 4to pw for 750 Canadian retail price is 1500 Canadian brand new probably because like you said no one buying them only bad thing is I live in Canada and can't golf till May
I honestly believe iron improvements over the years have been minimal compared to wood/drivers. I gave my son in law a set of 2003 progens, tungsten in the soles, perimeter weighting, cavity back. I can hit those as well as my xxio iron which are 20 years newer. The main difference is shaft weight and sole grind
Same here. I had them a couple of years now and have tried a handful of different irons since on fitting days, and nothing beats them for me at the moment.
Was playing wilson d7 forged up until my fitting late last year, fitted into new Srixon irons but was close between them and the dynapower forged. Still love my d7's and might just keep them around just in case. Cheers.
playing Wilson d100 bought new from a shop probably 10 years ago. Probably need to go to something lighter as I'm now 75 but have enjoyed them. Play the Duo ball and enjoy them too.
Spoke to a Wilson representative. He told me the kids of the fathers, who will not play Wilson equipment, due to prejudices (packages), will likely try Wilson products. "Something my Dad doesn't play? Let's have a try".
I play the cb , changed from p790 which I thought ballooned too much . Distance control is the biggest plus for me . Got the old iteration for £479 brand new 5-gw with Kbs shafts the same month the new ones were released!! Talk about a bargain!! .
Irons look great, need to stick with the Rossi putter, LAB putters are no panacea. I remember hitting the Wilson D9 forged irons and was quite impressed, but they weren't quite as nice as my Srixon ZX5 MKii irons.
I'm all in favor of doing a combo set, especially that top half of the bag. Srixon has been doing this for a while blending their irons and also Sub70. I guess the question is if getting a fitting is this something the fitter would recommend or is it up to the customer? Although I really like the looks of the new Vice irons, VGI01 black irons are sooo sick looking.
Play Wilson for the last 10 years. First set was D300 and now I play D9 Forged...and a 18 degree driving Iron also Wilson, then I have a Wilson 1 iron in the garage. But that one I can't play 🤣
Bought cobra f6 for my 40th [around 18hcp) nearly 50 now so looking for a replacement dropped to a 10hcp so looking for something less bulky. Might give these a whirl.
Wilson make decent clubs, my first set were 1200LT 3-PW plus metal woods from PX in states. More game management, seasonal tips and short game technique would be good, thanks
Don't want to ruin the video by mentioning the brand, but I've used the older set of blades, and they were incredible, but I had the wrong shaft in them for me. X-stiff instead of stiff, but it was tough to get rid of them, and I lost a lot of money on them. Buying them used from retailers is a bit of a joke too as they are well above what other manufacturers from the same year are. When it comes to trading them in, it's a different story, so not something people want to experience.

I have just added Dynapower forged to my bag, bought secondhand. Very happy so far.
Dynapower Forged are class , Long and can shape them very easily. Bought of the rack . Cant wait for the spring to come
Definitely want to see more of Dave and his dry humour, course management videos are always welcome
I also have the DP Forged. They are outstanding.
Yes Chris, we want to see more of Dave on the channel for SURE. Wilson offers amazing clubs and is really underrated. God Bless brother
I just got D9’s near the end of last season. 20 handicapper and I need the launch and forgiveness. Will get another set of Wilson’s in a year or so.
Great someone is steppng outside the usual and championing another brand. Beautiful looking irons and as always, overlooked by many.
Love the look of the Wilson's irons. Great video.

You can get fitted for them at Beverley Golf Club ( oldest inland course in Yorkshire)
First irons I bought when I started playing back in 2012👍
Changed to the dynapower forged from the mizuno mp20 mmc’s. And from a 110 grams steelfiber shaft to a 75 grams graphite shaft. Just a few rounds in but happy so far. Fitting is a bit of an issue indeed
my Dad gave me a set of Wilson X-31 muscle backs back in 1982. I played them for 3 years. I then gave them to my younger brother. great clubs.
I’ve had the Wilson D9 Forged for the last two years. Absolutely brilliant clubs. Wouldn’t change them for anything at the moment.
I have the D9 forged. Love them!
Absolutely love my Wilson D9 Forged irons, will never play any other than Wilson irons unbelievable for a great price too

Another great video Chris! Definitely wish it was a little longer video watching you and Dave playing a couple holes. My husband and I look forward to your new videos especially with Dave ❤
Played Apex19 for years. Found a set of D7 forged in a pro shop for $350 last year. Love them! Same specs but I’m 8 yards longer and very forgiving.
I’ve been playing Wilson & its varients (Walter Hagen and many signature models over the years) since the ‘70s. My current clubs are the FG Tour 100’s and the FG 62’s but they are from 2014 and all have been blades. Great clubs all.
I've never tried them, as there's nowhere to get fitted. They do make a very nice looking club.
I play with the cb’s, they are unreal! Feel epic, look amazing and do everything I want 🥰 so so happy with Wilson
Great content Chris. I don’t play anymore but really enjoy your videos.
Really like mid handi cap Dave also.
Keep up the great work!

Enjoyed the video. Thanks!

Bought the CBs for the 2024 season. I really like them. Great feel (when i strike them right😅).
Keep dave on channel.......always entertaining
I’ve had many Wilson Staff irons, my favorite being the FG Tour irons from maybe 2009
I have Wilson D9 forged and really like them with 105 shafts
Same here. I had them a couple of years now and have tried a handful of different irons since on fitting days, and nothing beats them for me at the moment.
I play the Wilson Staff MBs.
Look and sound amazing
Was playing wilson d7 forged up until my fitting late last year, fitted into new Srixon irons but was close between them and the dynapower forged. Still love my d7's and might just keep them around just in case. Cheers.
The CB is awesome
Wilson irons appear to be readily available in OZ. Fittings also
playing Wilson d100 bought new from a shop probably 10 years ago. Probably need to go to something lighter as I'm now 75 but have enjoyed them. Play the Duo ball and enjoy them too.
The PXG gen7 was what was I wanted, but other premium irons like this are much cheaper.
Spoke to a Wilson representative. He told me the kids of the fathers, who will not play Wilson equipment, due to prejudices (packages), will likely try Wilson products. "Something my Dad doesn't play? Let's have a try".
Chris, you looked a little cold this morning...but you were swinging well.
I play the cb , changed from p790 which I thought ballooned too much . Distance control is the biggest plus for me . Got the old iteration for £479 brand new 5-gw with Kbs shafts the same month the new ones were released!! Talk about a bargain!! .

My last set of Wilson irons were the Fatshaft pro irons
Most fun to watch is match or stroke play on fun or interesting courses. Not scramble. Then I like the new vs old club compared.
Play Wilson for the last 10 years. First set was D300 and now I play D9 Forged...and a 18 degree driving Iron also Wilson, then I have a Wilson 1 iron in the garage. But that one I can't play 🤣
I have the Wilson CBs. I tried other brands and they didn't have the feel as the Wilson. They didn't seem as hot and less control.
Bought cobra f6 for my 40th [around 18hcp) nearly 50 now so looking for a replacement dropped to a 10hcp so looking for something less bulky. Might give these a whirl.
Lack of marketing and golf being a popularity contest
I'll be keeping my i230s, short of winning a new set I can't see any reason to replace them
Srixon zx7 feel amazing 120g nippon modus stiff
It’d be good to see Frankie the fairway finder playing Dave in match play
Wilson make decent clubs, my first set were 1200LT 3-PW plus metal woods from PX in states.
More game management, seasonal tips and short game technique would be good, thanks
Played the cb’s all season and they will be staying in the bag for another season which rarely happens!
What course are playing plz
I want to see Dave play 9 holes with bladez
Don't want to ruin the video by mentioning the brand, but I've used the older set of blades, and they were incredible, but I had the wrong shaft in them for me. X-stiff instead of stiff, but it was tough to get rid of them, and I lost a lot of money on them. I know where there’s a second hand set of D9 forged going cheap
Played with Wilson years again, not try any of the new irons yet
Its not the clubs!!! Its the player... fact
Dave is stalking you.
I have Wilson Dynapower Forged they are a great feeling and forgiving iron 🏌
