    Best time to visit
September 1st week is the best time to visit.
Amarnath Yatra is over, and this place is heavenly after the monsoon period. All the meadows are lush green and river Lidder water is literally milky.
September Month is a lean season here, and hotel rooms are easily available without any prior booking and are at very low priced.
Snow lovers can come in winters here, but don't overlook perils of snow.
