Mam Srinagar to Doodhpahtri , shared cabs available hoti hain? Jaise Gulmarg aur Pahalgam k liye hoti hain , although direct nahu hoti , agar aapko idea hai to btaiyega
Shared cabs mushkil hai kyunki thodi new location hai aur zyada log jante nahinhai iss jagah ke baare mein
Aapne jo Cab book kiya wo fixed price hai ya bargain karna pada , Kya wahan koi state tourism office hota hai jahan se hum fixed price mein cabs / shikara rides etc govt fixed price
Par book krein. Kashmir me kaafi expensive ho jata hai plus thode scams bhi aisa smjh me aaya hai kuch videos dekh kar

I saw that the driver threw the bottle and we told him not to do it,rather keep it in the car. We never throw any garbage anywhere but it is difficult to educate locals who are used to this for ages.

You can cover go to Gurez but the cab cost is high. Views will be amazing. Keep Srinagar as your base and you can take day trips to Sonmarg, Yousmarg, Doodhpathri, Pahalgam and Gulmarg. Pahalgam - Better to stay a day as there will be lot of restrictions on time due to Amarnath Yatra

udhar bikes bhi hoti hain, toh ek se negotiate kar lia tha
Our cab took us till Shaliganga parking (parking 2) for an additional two hundred rupees. We were fortunate since our srinagar hotel owner informed us before to negotiate with the driver to take us till parking 2.

@sumantakumarsaha7756 It will be very tight as Pahalgam to Katra is far and driving in mountain region at night may not be a good idea. Discuss with tour driver once as many driver may nit be ok with this and might charge a lot.

We had booked by calling the hotel directly. Meals weren’t included in this.

We didn’t bargain much, hotel rates are always fluctuating depending on tourist influx so there’s very less scope of negotiation if it’s peak season
