To be honest, sometimes I don’t know the songs Kelly sings in the Kellyoke part, but her voice and the emotion she puts into every song, makes me believe the song is hers. For me she’s one of the better artists nowadays 👏🏻

@@ericB3444 My ears. 👂 I’ve not yet heard a rendition wherein she did not over sing a song I’m not saying that her voice is not good, I’m saying that her arrangements are usually too loud and overpowering to her voice and sometimes belted out too much. I know the voice is great but better arrangements from her and the band could be improved.

Nah this hit me different today. I don't know why. Her voice does it every time, but man, it hit me different today. Jaco with the beautiful crazy guitar tone, then Kelly coming in with the 'Tears stream...down your face'? Not gonna lie, I cried. Had to rewind it while watching the show.

I have been in love with Kelly and her voice for over 20 years now. She can literally sing any song or any style and her voice in the last 3-4 months has somehow gotten even greater.

I agree this song makes it more emotional when you've gone through tough times especially losing someone.
Worth repeating, Kelly is a master of her instrument, the female voice. She is the pinnacle of her craft with a breadth of musical expression unmatched by her peers who, if one listens and reads, is held in awe by those peers just as much as by her fans. Probably more as they know what it actually takes to do what she does. Meghan Trainor said “my queen…”. That is not said glibly or frivolously… enjoy it for as long as she offers it because better is and will be, a rarity.

I personally don't Even like Coldplay a little bit but this was its own song. I don't know how she does it but everyday 5 days a week we are blessed with her voice her emotion and just pure fracking talent. You know whenever she turns around with the duck lips that she's about to cry she did a good job holding it in. But when you can take a song and make it so emotional then it makes you cry that is that's more than talent. I feel like we don't even have to talk about her voice most of the time because her vocal talent just continues to get more impressive but it's a given. And then she blows you away with an extended high note not singing in full power which is so hard to do She can somehow nail high notes that are difficult and belt them and hold them we while still singing softly and with so much emotion I say it all the time but every one of these is a master class

This song is one of my favorites of all time, I remember watching Coldplay performing this at Austin City Limits in 2005, my friend and I right in front of the stage, belting out the chorus alongside thousands of other people with Chris and the band. A memory I'll never forget.

The way she sings this song, her delivery stabs my soul with intensity but I am also calm at the same time. I don't know how else to explain it. It's just one of these rare moments that I can feel music to it's inner core and it's beautiful.
