You mentioned something very important there: Disney is now really seeing who is watching these movies and shows. And considering the huge slate of new female characters AND directors, it seems that they are finally, FINALLY realising that A LOT of women love superhero movies and shows.
It's not just that. Finding the right time is also important. Ms. America will inevitably be the next Steve Roger's since the alternative version of the Avengers are the Ultimates. Chris Evans stated his run as Cap is done, so Marvel needs a new leader that represents the height of fighting for what is right vs what is wrong.
@Brad Richardson Y'all's hatred of Brie Larson is unreasonable at this point. That woman is an academy award winner, no matter your feelings about her as a person she is a great actress and that's all you should be focusing on when watching a movie. Brie Larson as a person and the actor are not mutually exclusive.
Dominique Thorne and I went to Cornell University together and I can confirm she is one hell of an actress for Ironheart. A genius in real life as well.
Out of all the new announcements, Tim Roth's return as Emil Blonsky/Abomination is my favorite. That alone is the reason I put _She-Hulk_ high on my list. I'm glad _The Incredible Hulk_ is getting that love. Now all they need to do is bring Liv Tyler back, confirm Sam Rockwell as Justin Hammer for _Armor Wars_ as well as Charlie Cox reprising Matt Murdock/Daredevil and everything will be perfect. Oh, and when the time comes, Vincent D'Onofrio as Wilson Fisk/Kingpin.
found you guys through the what if reaction and you’re quickly becoming my favorite comic book youtube channel. idk what it is it just feels like i’m talking ab this with three of my friends
Along with Sam Rockwell, let’s see Jon Bernthal join the cast of Armor Wars as Frank Castle. Perfect possible way to introduce Punisher properly in the official MCU way, have him want the War Machine suit. Would be awesome
So many awesome announcements! It's hard to pick just one I'm most excited about but I think my top 5 are Ms. Marvel, What If, She Hulk, Captain Marvel 2, and Ant-man and the Wasp: Quantumania.
I think the only bad decision was not recasting T'Challa. I think that they are making a terrible situation worse. They should have just pushed back Black Panther 2 another year back. Chadwick has only been gone for a few months and I think this decision was based more off emotion than reason. T'Challa is just too important a character to never use again. It's like continuing a Batman franchise without Bruce Wayne.
For me, I am really looking forward to the newer projects. And what I mean by newer, is the projects that will introduce new characters into the MCU. So like, Blade, Ironheart, Ms. Marvel, Fantastic Four, Moon Knight. Oh and especially that Secret INVASION show. That’s one of my favorite comic stories of all time. I’m looking forward to it all.
Jon Watts is amazing and he presented an amazingly updated version of Spider Man and I freaking love these movies and I for one am excited for him to direct....and I am trusting him because Homecoming series is very wholesome overall...while he also has the capability to go dark and without studio interference from both Sony and Marvel assuming Feige gives him liberty to do so will turn out a great movie
I wasn't expecting a trailer for Shang-Chi but I was hoping for a sort of concept art costume reveal like they did for Black Panther at that Phase 3 reveal event.
I think my top for shows are Loki, Secret Invasion and Ironheart. Movies, probably Thor, Capt Marvel 2 and Doctor Strange 2. I am excited for the new movie characters too, but I don't know those characters that well, maybe once trailers are out I will be begging for more of Shang-Chi and the Eternals.
It's finally happening. The moment I heard America Chavez, I knew the MCU is ready to go deeper towards the core of Marvel. Yes, the truly juicy stuff won't arrive this year, but we are slowly being teased of the inevitable team ups and stories. Stories so beyond fantastic, the current MCU can't handle it graphically and financially. I'll give it two years for improved graphics and more unique team ups. By then Galactus can look like Galactus, Eternity can look like Eternity, and the Ultimates should be formed and ready to take the MCU towards the core of Marvel, where "the true end game" begins. Now towards isn't the same as in. The core of Marvel's true end game will arrive years from now. That much is obvious.
I am intrigued by all the shows (havens knows I'm always up for more Tom Hiddleston), but ever since Bucky asked Sam to move his seat up, I have been jonesing for The Falcon and the Winter Soldier. So that's number one on my list. On the movie side, I am especially psyched for Shang Chi and Blade. Bring it.
A great tie in for Iron Heart could be in the auditorium from Civil War when Tony funds all of the students projects. Not sure how the timing would work with her age.
Yeah just like they did with Mysterio in Far From Home. They could show a quick shot of her in that auditorium as a member of a school trip for very gifted students!
Feige's quote on She-Hulk really gets misquoted... He referred to her doing legal work on cases involving superheroes (plural), so we might get a lot of fun cameos (plural) from episode to episode. That refers to multiple people (so not Matt Murdock), a different guest for each episode (or at least multiple episodes). So no, Feige didn't refer to Matt Murdock at all. We might get him in the show, sure, but Feige didn't refer to him.
It's hard to narrow down a top 3 when I am losing my mind over every announcement but: 1. Doctor Strange and the Multiverse of Madness 2. Thor Love and Thunder 3. Shang Chi
So much content! Like Agustin, I'm kinda glad Rona forced a slow down of Marvel content. I thought the original slate was too much. Disney+ is definitely a useful resource. I don't know how I will find the time, this might be too much. I'm happy they haven't recast Black Panther yet, but they will eventually. Chadwick's death has forever altered BP. I hope they make an even more impactful film than maybe was originally planned. Whether they make Shuri BP or not. There is a lot to explore because that 1st movie was rich in supporting characters and lore. Soooo happy for Tatiana Maslany as She-Hulk. I've loved her since Orphan Black. She can do no wrong! As recently as September she denied the casting rumours and that made me sad. But that proves someone is leaking at Marvel or the casting office because Jonathan Majors name leaked too. So someone's been talking. Top 5 I'm most excited for: -Black Panther 2 (my fave MCU movie) -Thor 4 (Taika!) -Ms. Marvel (the 1st Marvel character I discovered in actual comics) -She-Hulk (Tatiana) -Shang Chi (Simu, Michelle) Most surprised about: the casting, Iron Heart, Armor Wars But what would blow my mind is the return of Netflix MCU characters (same cast). Bring back One-Shots! Blend the two even as way to re-introduce.
So much to look forward to here, but the Fantastic Four and introducing Kang the Conqueror are the headlines for me here. Would love if She-Hulk appeared in the FF movie. Also, wild speculation time: I would love if this all builds up to that original Young Avengers storyline with Iron Lad and Kang and mix it with The Avengers Forever storyline. That has the potential to be the Crisis on Infinite Earths of the MCU. Avengers Forever is the first event comic I ever read and if the guys haven’t read it yet, I highly recommend it.
I am a little sad about the recasting of Cassie Lang. That one scene in Endgame sold it for me 👏🏻 also, I'm good with Jon Watts directing F4, I feel like he will do a great job!
It's going to be interesting to see how they handle Black Panther/T'Challa the King of Wakanda. Did he leave Did he pass on the mantle off screen Did he die Was he challenged for the throne and lost off screen All seem like terrible options
My most looking forward TV show is Hawkeye since I been wanting him to have a TVs series since daredevil got his own show. My most looking forward movie is either Black Widow or SpiderMan 3
Chloe Zhao directed my top film of 2020, Nomadland, that I thoroughly expect to dominate come Oscar time. I’m so excited to see what she does with The Eternals.
It's perfect for FF to come out in 2023 or 2024 because by the time Fantastic Four comes out, Peter Parker is in his twenties, from a storytelling point because he'll probably be graduating from high school in the end of the third movie, so, they're probably going to do a time jump and Peter is gonna be in the Fantastic Four movie
@Heroes Reforged, great set of videos about the Disney/Marvel announcements! Just a heads-up. There seems to be a problem with Hector's microphone. It sounds like it shorts out, every now and then.
I would love it if the next Avengers-movie is called Young Avengers with Kang as the villain. We are already getting Secret Invasion on Disney+ and that could be the crossover where the older Avengers are more the main characters and then Avengers 6 is a big team-up with the older and younger generation for the end-fight with Kang. The Young Avengers is basically all there with Wanda's twins, Kate Bishop, Cassie Lang and they could all have teamups in all the shows to build up to the movie.
Did Feige emphasis attorney in New York? I thought he just said she was a lawyer who specialised in superhero cases so you never know who could show up. To me, that doesn't scream Matt Murdock.
Alice Eve was in Iron Fist season 2 as Typhoid Mary (the best part of it too). I like her, but she's already in the MCU. Patrick Wilson might have a contract with DC/WB because he just played Ocean Master, those contracts tend to lock in actors for more than 1 film.

Can I say that, aside from everything what is happening in the world, this is a perfect time for this channel to rise with so many SW and Marvel shows coming, ofc if you guys have enough time to react in a la Mandalorian style :)
I respectfully disagree with Augustin's opinion about Black Widow. Yes, it was sad she died especially to me :-( But make no mistake, they have BURIED Agent Barton aka Hawkeye since the beginning. Always here for Agustin's righteous anger about Black Widow's treatment. My top 3 that I'm most looking forward to are WandaVision (because I have been waiting since Age of Ultron for some decent Wanda content), Thor: Love and Thunder (for too many reasons to list), and probably Secret Invasion (just because I'm really curious about the context given the MCU's different take on the Skrulls).
WandaVision, Loki, Shang-Chi, She-Hulk, Moon Knight & Ms. Marvel are the things, I'm waiting for. I will flip the F*** out if Jennifer Walters bumps into Matt Murdock!!! Loki's teaser and WandaVision 1st trailer have been the best marketing things for the future of the MCU, for me.
I don't agree with them not recasting T'Challa. I don't think Chadwick would want them to stop T'Challa's story due to his passing. Not really fair to the character; since he had sooooo much more to come

I was thinking the same! They're following public opinion, admittedly a bit late!
@Brad Richardson No idea where you get that percentage from, but yes, if you have 80+ million subscribers, then 24% is a massive number.
Marvel’s casting remains impeccable. Somehow they keep hiring people I’m already a fan of.

2.) Ironheart
3.) She-Hulk.

1. Shang Chi
2. Spiderman 3
3. Falcon & Winter Soldier

Thank you! People just inserted their own weird imaginary announcement that never happened into that.
The Mandela Effect
It's a tough choice, but if I had to pick three series/movies, my top3 would be: Loki, DSatMoM and Thor L&T
It's hard to narrow down a top 3 when I am losing my mind over every announcement but:
1. Doctor Strange and the Multiverse of Madness
2. Thor Love and Thunder
3. Shang Chi
I’m nervous about Thor
Wish we had a reaction to the whole thing

I am a little sad about the recasting of Cassie Lang. That one scene in Endgame sold it for me 👏🏻 also, I'm good with Jon Watts directing F4, I feel like he will do a great job!
it’s sad but the actress who’s going to be cassie is really talented so i’m excited
@@inanotherworldatm oh yeah, she is! Just was a little surprised at the sudden recast tbh but it's Marvel so I have faith
I believe the reason is because the original actress wanted to pause her acting career to continue her education

It's going to be interesting to see how they handle Black Panther/T'Challa the King of Wakanda.

@Heroes Reforged, great set of videos about the Disney/Marvel announcements!
Just a heads-up. There seems to be a problem with Hector's microphone. It sounds like it shorts out, every now and then.
Top 3 are (today at least) 1) Thor Love and Thunder 2) She-Hulk 3) Secret Invasion. My mind may change again tomorrow. So good!

I love Hawkeye since they made the farm scene in Ultron
If the Marvel Disney content turns out half as good as the Marvel Netflix and the Mandalorian it's going to be EPIC!!!!

How about the She Hulk Juggernaut romance or even better the Michael Saga with Michael Korvac or Onslaught the MCU can do all that now!
But that happened in another dimension though and she hates it when someone mentions it
I’m excited for she-hulk and if Matt Murdock does appear in it, I’d like to see daredevil and she-hulk beat the crap out of each other in court😂

Yes, it was sad she died especially to me :-(

First Avengers movie, he was controlled by Loki most of the movie.
