Called tonight and had fish and chips .It was very nice not the best I have had but for the price paid it was .Ate with my fingers and there was hardly any grease .I would deffo go again unlike most Blackpool chippies
Before retirement I worked as a support worker for autistic adults. This was their favourite Friday lunch visit(and mine). Julie would bend over backwards for us and she knew all their names. Never rushed us , always a warm welcome Top chippy!

Our kids (2,4 and 7 years old) loved the thumbnail part and I think Stephen is the best at doing them out of all your guests.
Here's one for you, my neighbours son who works for Eon in the UK has now been provided with the latest EV van, swapped from his Diesel van.
With the Diesel van he filled up just once a week at a cost of £100 and went about his company business. With the EV van, 80 mile range, he now has to charge 3 times per week at a cost of £60 per charge, you do the maths. Not only does he have to charge 3 times per week, Eon allow him to finish work one hour early to get to the charging outlet loosing Eon over 3 hours of his service time but the EV takes up to 2 hours to charge, therefore he is now allowed to book one hour of overtime per charge to the company. Remember this is just one person working for Eon, there must be hundreds like him.
Been coming to Tower Fisheries… for the past 18 years… the food is great and the owners are very polite and friendly… wouldn’t go anywhere else… This is my 2nd home… Would Recommend to anybody!

You should get a job but in the mean time, they have free time to roam the streets of Blackpool in the middle of the week.

Where did the haddock suddenly appear from? No mention on any of the menus, and meal deals specified cod. Prices generally half what we pay in East Sussex. Fantastic value.

It must be 25 or more years since I last went to Blackpool. But I do remember having fish and chips in Harry Ramsdens and thought it was a fantastic meal. I also remember that the fish was that big, the chips and peas were brought on a separate plate.
At the beginning of the video, I have the answer to your question. 'Why do Seagulls always stand on one leg?' Well, if they didn't, they would fall over🤣🤣🤣

Great to see the MacMaster in my home town 😁According to the local newspaper "Blackpool Evening Gazette", Tower Fisheries are the 10th best in Blackpool (as of 20th Aug 2021, so it may well be different now). They did look tasty though.

As someone who is looking for not only the best but also the cheapest fish and chipshops in the town of blackpool i find this video most informative! And also your comment about seagulls although generalised and not relative to all seagulls is also good advice
I usually visit a large chippy not far from The Manchester Inn. It is family run but I can remember its name for the life of me.
Could you ask Stephen if he knows what the name of the large chippy is ,if you remember Lee

The only way to cook fish and chips is using fresh fish and cooked in dripping.

Hugely enjoyable video. Eat as much of it as you like with your fingers, guys! Great that you don't have to battle with those pesky sauce sachets. But.... STILL no evidence of adding ground white pepper and vinegar to your mushy peas. It's the future! And my stomach did churn a bit when I saw you mix tomato sauce AND curry sauce on your chip butty. Other than that, you are slowly getting there!

I was wondering if you saw that news article on both Sky and BBC where they thought the orange netting on the tower was a fire at the top. They ended up looking really daft.
No, it really was on fire.
Someone had driven an EV up to the top of the tower and parked.
Then the battery spontaneously combusted (as we all know, they always do).
There was a massive fire as you could see from the videos of it...huge orange flames which can only come from a lithium battery chain reaction fire.💥💥🔥🔥
This of course was all hushed up and some pathetic excuse about orange curtains or something , was quickly put out there by the MSM.
Now we all know here on Lee's channel what's really going on.....

Directly behind Tower Fisheries is my favourite cafe in Blackpool, The Rite Bite. Do a lovely fry up and it’s cheap compared to where I live down South.
The sink holes would have been morecambe! The other half said that there was a disaster a few years ago with cockle pickers!?!
That did look really good value. When I'm in Blackpool I usually go to Bentleys, which is on Bond Street just behind the pleasure beach, they are the best I've found but do cost more. Next time, I'll try Tower fisheries.
