Nice craftsmanship . I have a diy project which I may tackle . A large tapered kerb , alongside a lawn that I do not want to upset . I want to square off and remove taper .,and then fit copings to top Would I be ok screwing on timber and sort of shuttering it with concrete ,and then replaster Any advice would be appreciated
Hard to know with out seeing but if you prepared right it should work i woukd recommendations sbr painted on and some in mix also have a concrete mix i used for founds on the channel , how to mix concrete i think its called
@@macplastering Thanks a lot , that is what I will try , originally I was thinking on driving in some steel nails as a reinforcement . Thanks for advice ,
Oh man it has been so cold last few weeks here a day or 2 looked as if the weather was turning but I think we are in for a cold spot the wind chill is so cold... do you prefer beads these days mate ?
I think the corner looks sharper, have seen the plastic beads blow of in guys right aroung them plastering over plastic doesn't sound the best idea but k rend wiuld stick to it some what bettet
I hear you but you still do as you need to have it set right using a level and making sure that you have the right coat to be able to go on the next day yes it might be faster next day but also i thin this way looks better and depending on top coat might be brick effect I cannot use a bead for that , thanks for watching buddy

Happy to help mate :) the new build we are building there will be very few beads on the whole outside only beads will be ones around lead work

I've got an interior cement wall that is not straight at all, would it be suitable to use corner beads?
Might need to rule it stright or stragther to help be able to set it plumb mate
@@macplastering do I use a hammer for that?
@@samyoe to nail on the rules/ battons? Or if a friend could hold in place then just stick beads on with render
@@samyoe depends on depth might need 2 days to get it built out
That's were the Dutch pins come in handy
or an extra pair of hands :)
if you used a matal corner aid for stucco you dont spend all that time
