A timley show that tackles social & mental issues in today's challenging times. A much needed program that adresses real issues and boosts spirits. I strongly endorse this show!
With today's challenges, we really need a show like this that will help uplift our spirits. This show discusses many social and mental issues that we could encounter. It's good to know that there are ways on how we could face the challenges in life while learning more about the bible.
This one hits really close to home. I grew up in what could be considered a cultic family and it still messes with me even though I have distanced myself as an adult.
Agreed. Some Christian families be acting all cultic. I had a similar experience where I lived. A neighbor of mine who only has a son that stays with her actually does the same thing. Most days I come home and I see the boy outside looking all scared. He will always tell me that he did something wrong and his mum will likely do the usual when she finds out. You won't believe that 'the usual' here means she would turn cold on him and even though they are in the same house, she'll act like they are total strangers. You made very good points here and I'm glad I listen in on it.
I can imagine how tough it must be for that boy. How do you think we can support families like your neighbor's to create warmer and more nurturing environments?

I agree. How has this show touched you personally, and what topics are you most eager to explore further?
I like the fact that this podcast discussed the similarities between cultic church to a family.
That's an intriguing comparison. How do you think recognizing these similarities could affect how we relate within our own families and communities?

I hope you recover from this soon.
The facts about dysfunctional families are explained very well in this podcast. Especially the recovery steps is very encouraging.
This video should be watched by those family members who are going through the same situation, don't you think?

In my opinion the bubble will burst at one point.
You foresee challenges ahead. What steps do you think can help navigate or prevent this potential "burst"?
This is very common, with so many religious cults springing up some under the umbrella of Christianity. This is indeed sad as it traumatizes the kids
