Thanks for the video. Itwas a ton of help showing route in thru the wheel well. Many others were going over the top of the engine block (YIKES!).
3/4" Deep Well Socket was money for removal/install on my 2016. Full job took maybe an hour start to finish.
Thanks for the video! Going through this problem as we speak my 2013 F150 fan keeps going off and it’s not running hot but I just bought a new sensor like you got so hopefully this is it 🙌🏼
That fix your fan issue?
@@vico.2514 hey man so I bought the new sensor but a lot of other problems popped up after putting on new rims and tires I just haven’t gotten to it yet I should be getting it replaced this weekend for sure though I will let you know
What is the tool to unscrew the sensor?
Nick Bell my fans run like a jet all the time, I've replaced all the a/c sensors, the a/C pressure switch, and this is my next move the CHTs for my 2013 f150 5.0 v8 137000 mile., but my reason for finding this is, I found when I load my 4 wheeler (980lbs dry weight) and my side by side (1370 lbs dry weight) and my 7×14 (2200lbs steel) once I get moving, the freeway is 10 minutes away and the speed limit is 55, before I get to the freeway the temp gauge starts to go up and up and up, just under the redline, and doesn't peg it though, then I'll pull over to check, no overboil, no bubbling, no gurgling, no dash lights, runs as it should otherwise. 30° and my fans come on high, I turn the heat on and it goes to lowspeed after a while, so I replaced the thermostat, had the coolant flushed and nothing, so I brought it in for a professional set of eyes and they wanted to replace my radiator I said fuck that, I wanted them to look into this particular issue, I told them if anyone going to waste money playing the guessing game I guess it'll be me, becaue the labor for this and the radiator and all the other stuff I've done would break the bank. The radiator is new from the year I bought it, the entire front end was rebuilt. But I'll save this video and leave a reply as to if this worked or not.
Did this fix the fan issue for an of you?
Did you break any of the plastic clips holding the well liner on there?
What symptoms did u have that you had to replace it??
Great video thanks for the info but the music is distracting and detracting
About how long did it take you ?
I was told there is no sensor located there for 2016 f150 2.7L ecoboost twin turbo 😮, I need changed the one under the intake, somebody help
Did you fix it?
It’s right below the oil dip stick of to the right a little.
@@rodolfo7765 cylinder temperature sensor 😂 are easy for 2016 2.7L but the coolant temperature sensor will take a day to do it also need the right tools and fuel rail rubber grommets kit.
Thanks for the info; the sensor is a bear to get to-music was distracting/over covered your voice and made it difficult to hear you!
Well what was the code
P1289 you can see it in minute 7:49
you should cut the music so that everyone can enjoy your video instead of just the people that want to hear a thump
0:32 it sounded like he was gonna rap for a sec
