ok, so here's the question, I got the app to work, I checked the box for notifications and audio but I still don't hear anything on the computer when I get a text message nor do I see a bubble come up in Chrome. Am I doing something wrong?
You have a bubble coming up you take that icon/bubble and just remove it off the screen. Deletng the bubble stops the interference away from the phone.

That is about the most confusing vid on how to I have attempted. The icon is square and next it round after download. The three dots do have device sharing on the round icon. The square icon does not exist. anymore. No bar code scanner option shows up.

Sadly, I think you need a Samsung that is associated with the same account with the other Samsung. So you can’t do it with the Motorola phone

I seriously never knew about this amazing feature of google messaging app....My father doesn't use an Android phone and its so much painful to type messages and send him from phone....this syncing would help me quickly send him required details he need for his work or any other imp message...You seriously saved many hours per day of my life...Thanks a lot...I wonder why i couldn't such ever video earlier ..may be because i kept on putting keyword like any alternate of way2sms ,so i never got to know about this feature of google messaging app.Thanks again.
