_Water🌊. Earth⛰. Fire🔥. Air💨. Long ago, the four nations lived together in harmony. Then, everything changed when the Fire Nation attacked. Only the Avatar, master of all four elements, could stop them, but when the world needed her most, she vanished. A hundred years passed and my brother and I discovered the new Avatar, an airbender named _*_Faouzia._*_ And although her airbending & vocal skills are great, she has a lot to learn before she's ready to save anyone. But I believe _*_Faouzia_*_ can save the world._ P.S. Faouzia was letting us know that she is the vocal avatar with her "Hero" video. There have been very few others in past generations, but she's the one for this generation.
That growl by Wendy at 5:30 to this day still has me on a chokehold🤯 it was so unexpected, I was caught off-guard, I didn't know she had it in her, like😵dont know how many times I replayed it🫣

i think of water as a voice that is clear, emotional, and gives me cool/blue vibes. And these voices are very fluid and connected(gives the impression that they are one from the bottom to up, especially with the way the singers use them-agility). Doesn’t have to be melismatic singers specifically but very agile. Faouzia is the perfect example of this in my opinion. Imo, these have a comfort in the middle voice(probably naturally inclined/gifted with the middle voice) which gives the illusio/impression of a connected voice. The zip between the bottom and top is seamless. Fire- i agree, these voices are untamed. These are singers who can do anything with their voices. In fact they want to do everything with their voices. It’s like they say to the song, i wanna sing this song this way because my emotions are all riled up, and you, physical/anatomical limitation wont stop me(basically the defyers of “just because you can doesn’t mean you should” because they say, well just because you cant doesn’t mean you shouldn’t . I agree with Jessi J, miley and christinah as examples. I also have to say it’s worth noting that these singers are more prone to be accused of over singing, because they are unruly(do not bend to anyone or anything’s rules) and do what ever they wanna do. I kinda see Sonnet Son(Son Seungyon) here too. Unlike all other elements which i have linked to a vocal register, these voices, have the vocal characteristics/undertones that standup more than the actual vocal make up(i.e, tessitura, weight, etc). Its the rasp, the metallic, the edge, the pull, etc that gives these voices their, i’m unique, you can’t force me into a mold or a box. Im spirit riding free. With earth, i see earth as rock steady vocalists. Literally. Very bodies voices, could even say the voice sits in the chest most comfortable. These voices imo are beefy, more likely to be dramatic types of voices. They are like the most affected by gravity. Do not live a lot in the atmosphere if at all. Big instrument. Kinda of like a supportive sister who is a middle child. Isn’t necessarily exciting, to the point that they might be accused as bland. They can hold they own very well, like the middle girl child who has to learn independence, and supports everyone. On a scale of merit and excellence, i would put these voices as very much above average. Always a B+(and sometimes an A-) but doesnt standout enough to be number 1(of course like i said they arent exciting according to the general population). People barely flinchor pay attention to those who live in the B+ region even though B+ is still very much excellent. Definitely Beyonce(as an adult, and even as melismatic and agile as she is, she still is grounded to floor). I think i see phylis hyman here too. Oh yah, Whitney Houston too( whitney was clearly a voice that was comfortable in chest, very capable of using head voice but even the head voice blossomed more lower in her range than above) When i think of air, i think of voices that are the opposite of earth voices. Unlike earth voices who are chained by gravity, these voices are so light and have little weight to their voices. They give the impression that their voices can extend into the stratosphere and beyond. I cant help but see sohyang as the perfect example. Contrary to popular belief, sohyang’s instrument is very small, a clear light voice. These voice types almost have no core(lower register even) because of how feathery they are. Listening to them makes you think of the clouds, feathers. Thinks that are not of these earth. Their voices live comfortably in their higher registers(irregardless of whether they top notes are sung in head or mix), The most impressive part of their voices(irregardless of voice type). Another, is ariana grande, and Kristin Chenoweth imo Edit: ua-cam.com/video/lFLK549zeqw/v-deo.html check out that video essay about the soprano voice. It really is informative
I think Demi is fire, Leigh Anne is water, I honestly will put Mariah as air but it’s possible for vocalists to belong to more than one element …. Lara is moreso a cross of water/air Celine Dion is definitely water, & Jade is air
I think Mariah can be in both Air and Water 😂 Although she has smooth timbre and her runs are perfect like the way water flows, her airy voice and whistle are definitely properties of Air.

Would be interesting if you had put all the Little Mix girls as I think each one of them represents a different element: Leigh-Anne is fire (aggressive and powerful), Jade is water (adaptable and controlled), Perrie is earth (sturdy and deep), Jesy is air (breathy and light).
Switch Leigh Anne and Jade. Jade is powerful and upfront while Leigh Anne has a naturally higher pitch and is able to execute runs and transitions with ease
@@astrid4911 Jade has a variety of techniques that Leigh doesn't have, allowing her to tap into every stage of water. Also, Jade's melismas are much more fluid than Leigh's. Leigh-Anne on the other hand, has a belting capability that Jade doesn't have, she also has the habit of using growl when singing which helps her sound aggressive, and Leigh's riffs are quicker than Jade's, but more stiff.
This was interesting! If I were to categorize my favorite group(SNSD)'s vocal line, it would be like this: Fire: Tiffany Water: Seohyun, Sunny Earth: Taeyeon Air: Jessica
My three favorite singers are Ariana, Morissette, and Tori Kelly, but you covered Tori, so I'm gonna comment how I feel about some others' classifications. Morissette Amon - Mori's voice is decently balanced, constantly improving, and can pull off the most unexpected stunts at the most unexpected times. She has a grounded tone that's somehow light and heavy at the same time, doused with a feminine edge. Her vibrato is top tier, her whistle is extremely developed, and she has so much ease in nearly every register. Still, she lacks consistency when compared to other singers. Of course, she's more consistent than 90% of today's vocalists, but when going into the top tier, I feel she's somewhere in the middle. Her pitch isn't always accurate, she tends to strain a bit with her mix past F#5, and her whistle's pitch is, let's face it, not very pitch-perfect half of the time. Emotionally, she has very high highs and very low lows, either practically hugging the audience with her voice or off somewhere in her own world. Her agility is above average to say the least, but it's not normally a staple of her voice. That's why it's very striking to see her decently execute riffs and runs that are leagues ahead of her agility. Basically, Mori is a very grounded vocalist who can be inconsistent, but pulls off what she needs every time while managing to drum her audience. I feel like lightning/earth would be a good element for her voice. Ariana Grande - Ariana Grande's voice is light, feminine, high, and overflows with natural agility. Her ease, especially when it comes to mixing, has to be some of the best in the industry. A staple of her voice is her amazing flageolet, which she executes with unbelievable range and ease. Not to mention, her tone is recognizable and universally enjoyable. Her whistles are few and far between, but they deliver as much as her incredible falsetto. She does have a few issues, though. For one, she doesn't play with her voice nearly enough to improve all the time (ex: Morissette). She does adlibs and stuff, but it kinda feels like a slightly altered version of the same run every time. Lately, though, she's definitely been working on it. (Btw: from what I heard on Wicked, I think we know who one of our next musical legends will be. AG7 is gonna be awesome). Her low notes, especially for a light lyric soprano with an incredibly high tessitura, are very well executed. She has the ability to darken or lighten her tone with ease, delivering both powerful and soft vocals with dynamic contrast. This helps her emotional performances, although, she tends to show emotions with her face rather than her voice. With all that, I'd say her voice is a wonderful mixture of water and air, although not ice. Probably steam, as her delivery is too warm for ice.
7:50-8:30 I'm afraid my ult group will debut on this channel in the meantime 🤔🤧 also do you know demi lovato released a heart attack rock version?? the vocal is insane! I think that is your meal!
@@GarageStudio7 yeah. I thought lightening is a singer that can sing long and ethereal notes or singers with force in their voice that give audience chills.
@@GarageStudio7You are very wrong fool. Whitney’s voice is definitely fire or lightning not earth. Toni Braxton is the epitome of earth. Whitney has heat and explosive quality to her voice so she definitely cannot be earth. Furthermore her voice is superior to Mariah.
For Lightning I think about singers who have a very powerful and high pitch, with a voice that hits you right in the face (que si escuchas mucho te llegan a hartar 🤣) So I was thinking about Steven Tyler from Aerosmith, Axl Rose from Guns N Roses and maybe Demi Lovato and Jojo
I'd include Haewon and Jihyo in water too. And Lily in Wind. No no no, they all would be lightning in my pov! Lightning for me is striking, susprising, and leaves you in awe for quite some time till you process what in the world is happening. Haewon made this impression since debut, but man her covers in Leemunjin Service- "I was lucky" was my favorite cover alongside Demons and, obviously, Halo.
(Vocalists I think would suit the four elements) Fire: Ailee, Shinee's Jonghyun and Taemin, Lauren Jauregui, Kelly Clarkson, Marina Water: Ningning, Ariana Grande, Whitney Houston, Natalie Taylor, Shinee's Key, Sam Smith Earth: FLO (the three of them), Shawn Mendes, Katy Perry, Shinee's Onew Air: Shinee's Minho, The Rose's Woosung, IU, Loona’s Chuu
For flo i think, Stella as water(her voice is very connected, and agile), jorja as earth(you can hear the metal in her belts, sounds like seh is fighting against gravity to reach the sky)and renee as air(has little core/body to her sound, very feathery especially her cover)
Definitely sad you didn’t include Solar of Mamamoo but included Hwasa and Wheein. Not a criticism just remembering Solar being water in the elements video of Mamamoo and me thinking “there’s no way that Mamamoo won’t be included in this video” lol. I only mention cuz Solar is my ultimate bias.
Here's a few of my personal picks for these categories Fire: Sohyang(Very sharp tone and unpredictable), SZA(extremely sensual voice with a prominent rasp), Kim Petras(not many people know her but I love her power packed lungs) Water: Normani, DojaCat(both because of their alluring falsettos and smoothness in that register), Billie Eilish(obviously, listening to her makes you feel like you're drowning) Earth: DEMI LOVATO(I am surprised she wasn't included, her upper belts are one of the best out there, and her mid belts are the best out of everyone in the industry FOR MY OWN EARS, her strength and choir-like leadership aura justifies her categorization), Whitney Houston(I CAN'T BELIEVE THE PERSONIFICATION OF GOSPEL WASN'T INCLUDED IN THIS VIDEO), Leigh Anne(her recent performances have established her voice as one of the most stand alone voices out there. If Leigh is confident, she can silence anyone with her sturdy vocals), Rihanna(ehh debatable, but you guys tell me if Rihanna fits this category or not) Air: "Airiana" Grande(her ability to allure her audience with her heavenly head voice and falsettos literally makes her audience feel like they are levitating), Jade Thirwall(same reason as of Ariana)
@@filipmarinkovic6281 the thing is your observation can be true for a lot of singers. Just proves their versatility as an artist. Look at Gaga and her ability to just sing ANYTHING she wants. Even for Ariana, I don't think her voice is on the sturdier side so thats why I don't feel like she encompasses Earth, but yeah Water and Air for sure.
@@Empy003 Gaga is just soo good, she can do whatever she wants, she litteraly screams mulitiple times per show and just knows how to not damage her chords, only part that is still kinda hidden is falsetto/HV, but her HV is angelic when she does it. There is no genre she can't sing, her album Artpop (fucking masterpiece btw) proves how good she is at changing tones to match a very unique and specific sound, no matter how much praise she gets, she will always be an underrated vocalist
Fire - Christina Aguilera, Charice Pempengco, and Morissette Amon. 🔥 They are the first I think of when I think of explosive and awesome vocals. Water - Ariana Grande, Mariah Carey, Brandy, and Tori Kelly. 💧 They have graceful, light tones which can be powerful when necessary, but their forte is through their vocal agility and melisma combined with the weight of their voices. Earth - Adele, Beyoncé, Jennifer Hudson, and Whitney Houston. 🪨 They have the capability to do everything, but it is their grounded, rich, and enchanting tone that makes them worthy of the earth element (like rich and healthy soil). Air - Sohyang, Celine Dion, Kelly Clarkson, and Katrina Velarde . 🌬️ These are the jacks of all trade. They can do everything else very well, but what makes them stand out is their mastery of “breath support” and using their instruments effectively and safely.
I'm sorry but Perrie is not earth imo, I would put her as Fire for sure, jade is air and Leigh Anne water/fire. You really should have put all of little mix not just perrie as they perfectly represent this well. Leigh Anne is smooth and powerful, jade is soft and airy, Perrie is deep and powerful.
@@Das644 Jesy would definitely be air, jade I feel is definitely air. Perrie is more so fire and maybe a bit of earth possibly and Leigh Anne is water/ fire
@littlemixwillsurvivelittle976 i actually agree with jes being air, dont know why i said earth. Pez's voice is grounded and solid like earth. Even though she can venture into the high parts of her voice(be it in head voice or not) she doesnt feel most comfortable there. She knows, her voice lies at that lower to middle voice(where its def chest) and she allows her voice to blossom there. Her carrying too much weight when she belts high is evident of this. I think of it like, gravity pulling her back down as she strains her self towards the sky
@@Das644 yeah Jesy is for sure air. Perrie reminds me of Christina Aguilera so I put her as fire because they both are so similar in the way they sing. Back in the day I would have put earth for perrie but she's changed over the years so I think fire fits best with maybe the tiniest bit of earth.
I enjoyed it, and it's okay that Ari or other singers are not in this list. She can be classified as... steam? I guess, and my fave Lara - she's all 4 at some point - fire climaxes, water cannon belts, airy l̶o̶w̶s̶ head voice and brick-wall stamina.
Actually the minute i saw Miley on fire i was like "dude she's more of a lightning thunder" lol Fire is passion and thunder is power and Miley's voice is so strong that every song makes you feel like a badass gangsta so yeah Miley is definitely lightening. As for earth i immediately thought of Adele, her voice is so powerful but not like Miley, see thunder is attack and earth is defence. I also noticed that all the singers listed as earth are meso sopranos and may be it's not intentional but i find that most sopranos gonna fall under water while most meso sopranos gonna fall under earth. One more thing i think that Taeyeon falls under earth category, what do you think? I'm not gonna lie i was disappointed that you didn't mention Lana del rey as air, like she literally is the epitome of airy but that's okay. Also i haven't listened to to Lara before but from the clip you showed i think she's more of a water?! Anyways good video
@@aymenakabusiness631 yeah, I think her voice is very versatile, but I think icy voices are very different from earthy voices. I don't know if you were saying they were similar, but I think the opposite.
I asked chatGPT: As an AI language model, I do not have personal preferences or opinions on music. However, I can provide some general thoughts on how Celine Dion's voice might be associated with the different classical elements. Fire: Celine Dion's voice is often described as powerful, passionate, and emotive. These qualities could be associated with the element of fire, which is also linked to energy and creativity. Earth: Celine Dion's voice is also characterized by its stability and groundedness, which could be associated with the element of earth. Her ability to deliver consistent and reliable performances over the course of her career could also be seen as an earthy quality. Water: Celine Dion's voice is capable of conveying a wide range of emotions, from joy to sorrow and everything in between. This fluidity and emotional depth could be associated with the element of water. Air: Celine Dion's voice is often praised for its clarity, precision, and technical skill. These qualities could be associated with the element of air, which is linked to communication and intellect. Overall, it's important to remember that these are just associations and that Celine Dion's voice is a complex and multifaceted phenomenon that cannot be reduced to any one element or set of qualities.
You are wrong. Her voice and tones are too warm to be an earth. Toni Braxton is the definition of earth. Her voice is vastly strong and fiery and expressive and explosive. She definitely cannot be an earth.

I think Rosé is indeed the perfect example for Wind, because she is Stylistic, Husky, Breathy and light.
Another example is Lia and Aurora.
7:50-8:30 I'm afraid my ult group will debut on this channel in the meantime 🤔🤧
also do you know demi lovato released a heart attack rock version?? the vocal is insane! I think that is your meal!
Wowww your editing has really gotten better over the months!! I love all your videos and their contents but this is probably my favorite one ❤
One of your best creative videos yet!!
Omg thank you!!☺️
Lightening: Whitney Houston, Chaka Khan, Patti LaBelle, Florence and the machine, Etta James. jenifer hoilday
Lightening is more of Patti Labelle.
If anything Whitney is more of Earth.
@@GarageStudio7Don’t be a stupid, jealous liar.
For Lightning I think about singers who have a very powerful and high pitch, with a voice that hits you right in the face (que si escuchas mucho te llegan a hartar 🤣)
So I was thinking about Steven Tyler from Aerosmith, Axl Rose from Guns N Roses and maybe Demi Lovato and Jojo
If it’s one thing Leona and Adele gonna do well, it’s transition!
Am I the only one noticed that Miley is sagittarius, rose is aquarius and wendy is pisces?
Demi Lovato is fire🔥
I'd include Haewon and Jihyo in water too.
And Lily in Wind.
No no no, they all would be lightning in my pov! Lightning for me is striking, susprising, and leaves you in awe for quite some time till you process what in the world is happening. Haewon made this impression since debut, but man her covers in Leemunjin Service- "I was lucky" was my favorite cover alongside Demons and, obviously, Halo.
Haewon and Jihyo is more of an earth to me
Jihyo and Haewon are very belty and aren’t afraid to apply at times too much power to their belts, they’re more so fire or earth singers imo.
I think Haewon is earth maybe fire and Lily is water or wind
Rosé's voice makes me float on air,
(Vocalists I think would suit the four elements)
Fire: Ailee, Shinee's Jonghyun and Taemin, Lauren Jauregui, Kelly Clarkson, Marina
Water: Ningning, Ariana Grande, Whitney Houston, Natalie Taylor, Shinee's Key, Sam Smith
Earth: FLO (the three of them), Shawn Mendes, Katy Perry, Shinee's Onew
Air: Shinee's Minho, The Rose's Woosung, IU, Loona’s Chuu
@Whimsical🌨 honestly I only heard them as a trio, and I think that their harmony sounds like earth, if that makes sense
For flo i think, Stella as water(her voice is very connected, and agile), jorja as earth(you can hear the metal in her belts, sounds like seh is fighting against gravity to reach the sky)and renee as air(has little core/body to her sound, very feathery especially her cover)
UNIVERSE: Aretha, Barbra, Whitney, Mariah, Celine, Beyoncé and my favorite Amber Riley as well 😝❤️
Which category does Sia belong to?
Definitely sad you didn’t include Solar of Mamamoo but included Hwasa and Wheein. Not a criticism just remembering Solar being water in the elements video of Mamamoo and me thinking “there’s no way that Mamamoo won’t be included in this video” lol. I only mention cuz Solar is my ultimate bias.
the way he described Earth it makes more sense for her to be in there then water
@@Michael-fs3sm I mean, maybe? But would would Moon Byul sit, then?
My favorite categories is between Air & Earth but I love Water & Fire categories as well ‼️👏🏽
I watch this video often - it’s sooo good & dope 🫶🏽
One of your best videos yet 💯👏🏽
Could you also include aether? Even though it's probably gonna be similar to air
Here's a few of my personal picks for these categories
Fire: Sohyang(Very sharp tone and unpredictable), SZA(extremely sensual voice with a prominent rasp), Kim Petras(not many people know her but I love her power packed lungs)
Water: Normani, DojaCat(both because of their alluring falsettos and smoothness in that register), Billie Eilish(obviously, listening to her makes you feel like you're drowning)
Earth: DEMI LOVATO(I am surprised she wasn't included, her upper belts are one of the best out there, and her mid belts are the best out of everyone in the industry FOR MY OWN EARS, her strength and choir-like leadership aura justifies her categorization), Whitney Houston(I CAN'T BELIEVE THE PERSONIFICATION OF GOSPEL WASN'T INCLUDED IN THIS VIDEO), Leigh Anne(her recent performances have established her voice as one of the most stand alone voices out there. If Leigh is confident, she can silence anyone with her sturdy vocals), Rihanna(ehh debatable, but you guys tell me if Rihanna fits this category or not)
Air: "Airiana" Grande(her ability to allure her audience with her heavenly head voice and falsettos literally makes her audience feel like they are levitating), Jade Thirwall(same reason as of Ariana)
I feel like Ariana is closer to water or earth, she can be acually any of 4
@@filipmarinkovic6281 the thing is your observation can be true for a lot of singers.
The ultimate question is :Who is the Vocalist avatar ?
Yesssss‼️
Doesn’t exist
Whitney Houston.
*Faouzia* ⛰🌊🌬🔥
@@roger9283 yeah it doesn’t exist.
Where will you place Solar and Byul of MMM?
Ok but can miyeon of g idle come in the category of earth?
Whitney - The avatar lol
I'm sorry but Perrie is not earth imo, I would put her as Fire for sure, jade is air and Leigh Anne water/fire. You really should have put all of little mix not just perrie as they perfectly represent this well. Leigh Anne is smooth and powerful, jade is soft and airy, Perrie is deep and powerful.
I would say pez and jes are earth definitely, and jade more on air, and leigh definitely water.
Wheein seems like a mix of air and water to me
Interesting vid
Not the Rose sneak 😂
I enjoyed it, and it's okay that Ari or other singers are not in this list. She can be classified as... steam? I guess, and my fave Lara - she's all 4 at some point - fire climaxes, water cannon belts, airy l̶o̶w̶s̶ head voice and brick-wall stamina.
Loved this creative categorization
Beyoncé the avatar
The song and part you chose for Whee In really touched my soul when she hit that high note omg!
I'm literally crying cause of this voices🥹
u forgot to add ariana grande and taylor swift in air
8:12 basically ariana
I disagree and agree with this but I get your point
@@briannaaudain928 yeah she doesn’t meet all the criteria of that category
@@whoevr right lol
If you include her pitch issue?
What would Taeyeon be?😊
i think lily would be water or winf
Actually the minute i saw Miley on fire i was like "dude she's more of a lightning thunder" lol
Fire is passion and thunder is power and Miley's voice is so strong that every song makes you feel like a badass gangsta so yeah Miley is definitely lightening.
Jhud is a good example of a soprano as earth imo
we need more male singers analysis 😔
Beyoncé being the avatar
Love this video so much
So who’s the avatar?
Ariana grande swirling the elements lol
Fr but she swings more watery and airy. Maybe ice if it was there.
@@HumminGBird168 yeah but she can be earth /ice if she wants to
@@aymenakabusiness631 yeah, I think her voice is very versatile, but I think icy voices are very different from earthy voices. I don't know if you were saying they were similar, but I think the opposite.
What would celine dion be?
I asked chatGPT:
As an AI language model, I do not have personal preferences or opinions on music.
@@JonathanYeCELINE AVATAR PLS
Hmm, I would usually put her in water but since Mariah is in water, she might as well take Lightening.
@@carlos12057 YEAHHHHH
@@GarageStudio7 I see her as a combo of wind, fire and lightning
Vanessa Amorosi = lighting
Yessss Vanessa Amorosi is a perfect example of Lightning ⚡️
Bright and forceful
Yes! Vanessa Amorosi and Patti Labelle.
Whitney is most definitely earth😌
You are wrong. Her voice and tones are too warm to be an earth. Toni Braxton is the definition of earth. Her voice is vastly strong and fiery and expressive and explosive. She definitely cannot be an earth.
Whitney voice is superior to Mariah so she can not be earth you fool.
@@jantralee5800 🤷🏾♂️just my opinion
