My brother is a disabled Veteran and has a service dog. It's always collard and leashed wearing a vest and recognizable as a service dog. For this guy to go into a store with two dogs not leashed and recognizable as service dogs is only trying to stir up trouble.

Even with a bullet-proof looking vest, it may not be a service dog. A few weeks ago, there was one yapping up a storm in a Walmart. It had an official looking vest, but definitely wasn't an official service dog.
I'm grateful to be free with no papers, not even a misdemeanor, a roof over my head and a thriving small business. Sometimes I like to believe that watching this channel makes me think twice about the choices I could potentially make before I decide to do anything reckless. I appreciate what you do in the UA-cam community Death. I just want you to know that your platform has prevented me from getting into a whole mess of trouble and potentially losing everything from incarceration. Keep it real. It's exactly right. That's why the terms "little man syndrome" and "napoleon complex" exist. Smaller guys are known for being insecure about their size and they go out of their way to try to act tough and hard. It's like BDE. Except for their body.
Im a big guy and I notice people get out of my way, walk across street to avoid me. Ive seen women park next to me, look at me in my van and then pull out and park elsewhere.

Yeah small guys feel like they have to wild out just to be noticed, and people do notice but then they keep it moving. If a big guy behaved the same way these smaller guys tend to they would immediately get 5 star wanted level, helicopters and tanks showing up to stop them.

Luckily I haven't had to yet but I've had some close calls where some random dude is trying to fight me.
Ya, me too, and to not drink alcohol. My ability to ignore people's BS disappears and I can turn extremely violent. I'm not saying I'm a tough guy, but when I'm drunk I have zero self control. It took a few trips to county for me to realize I can't hold my liquor. Lol

Theres no such thing as registration, or papers for service dogs. Its a violation of medical privacy, and its specifically against the law to request such identification.

If the guy really had service DOGS, he needed to have his paperwork and RESPECT the wishes of the owner who sees two dogs not on a leash and no vests. Some people walk around playing games to test people because they can pull out a phone and record the interaction. The guy was being a prick, simple as that.

Though they should be required to provide paperwork this is actually not a thing and it’s illegal for employees and owners to even ask. Again it’s not how it should be but it’s how it is.

If not, how are owners and employees supposed to react to seeing TWO, not one, dogs unleashed without a vest running in their store? Service don't need to leashed but those were definitely not trained service animals. They also don't have any paperwork for service animals.

Big guy here chiming in. Its a real thing people just tryen start something for no reason with a big person. I'm 52, legally disabled with heart failure and I still have not lost a single fight in my adult life. Yet people still try. It would be like me trying to start a fight with a guy making his living at MMA. Certain lines of demarcation exist between people . For instance a 200 pound man will never take down a 250 pound man unless an enormous amount of training has been executed. A 250 pound man will not take down a 300 pound man unless the 250 pound man has trained and trained and trained. Most people I feel its like fighting a child. I had one drunk corner me in a parking lot and start harassing my dogs. I knocked him down without even trying. Heard his head hit the concrete and thought for a split second WELP there goes my life. Killed a guy. He staggered to his feet and just kept running his mouth at me even while I was driving away. I've put several people in ambulances. Every single time the cops took the other guys side. Yet I've yet to get jailed over it. A big part of why I watch this channel is to remind me to Walk away, walk away, walk away. Thanks Josh for always reminding me.

I've damn sure seen a few big dudes get knocked tfo by little dudes before, and every time it was a big dude thinking he couldn't get dropped by anyone. In Kansas City Missouri in Westport I've had cops put me in cuffs for just standing in the middle of people that were fighting, just to stop things.. The whole crowd was chanting, let him go, it warmed my heart ❤️
I dont care if guy with the dogs was homeless a veteran or dog were really service dogs. He didnt have them on a leash, no vests indicating they were service dogs and also there are 2 of them, nobody that needs a service dogs has 2.
Facts. People way too often abuse the service dogs claim. Dude has some fairly well trained, nothing near service dog standards
Service dogs must be on leash. There are several situations where the dog doesn't have to be, like if the dog goes in and surveys a room before taking the person in. A service dog must be specially trained to help with a specific task.
Also not positive about this but the VA will only issue one service dog and it will be outfitted with the identification worn by the dog and would be on a leash or handle attached to the dogs service dog identification that it would be wearing.
Yeah the 2 was a definite giveaway and the fact that the dogs weren't focused like service dogs are. And like he said they didn't even listen to him
I actually have 2 service dogs. It's called a tandem team and they're trained for different task. I highly doubt his are real however since they weren't focused on him and weren't by his side. Also service dogs don't need to be leashed if it interferes with a task nor do they need to be vested. There's also no such thing as paperwork for service animals.

Women no longer suffer consequences for bad or illegal Behavior. This is the result. Is she knew that there was a 2-year prison sentence after the second bottle that she would definitely be going away for she wouldn't throw the first one. Talk to your DS and your judges in your area and tell them you want people that are tough on crime especially women that commit crimes. Tell them you're for equality in this area for sure.
This is how I’ve learned to handle these situations. No matter what the MotherLover’s chirping at me, all I hear is him saying:

Vet probably registered his dogs as Emotional support dogs. Not service dogs.
My mom has a friend, real big guy like in the video. He said people challenged him all the time because of his size. He said it got old fighting all the time, couldn't go out almost anywhere with friends due to people trying to prove something

The lady throwing wine bottles is someone that you wouldn't want to approach in that situation as an employee or owner. Get your phone out and call 911, and then start recording if another employee hasn't already done so. Do not assume that the cameras in the store is recording everything. Ask them once to stop and leave, and don't speak to them again if they keep going. Let the cops deal with her and not put yourself in harm or legal jeopardy over alcohol when you got insurance (you better have insurance).

FYI, there is no "registration" for service dogs. Anybody who tries to sell you a registration for a service dog is scamming you. They are protected by the ADA and are allowed anywhere you are. Also, they are not required to wear the vest for anything else to identify them as such.
Dog vests can be ordered on line without any paperwork.

As somebody who works in a store, the law needs to catch up. Yes, they should have some sort of certificate or identification because if somebody wants to lie, there's nothing we as store employees can do about it

If the business ask if your dog is a service dog and you say yes legally there is nothing the business can do. You do not have to show any paper work.

Its illegal to demand paperwork for service animals since it doesng exist. Also they dont need to be vested or leashed as long as theyre under control which those 2 dogs were not.

It's illegal to ask someone to provide papers showing their dog is a service animal... Look up ADA service dog questions. I work at a hotel and have to deal with this daily.
Thank you for being well informed and willing to correct others. I travel and stay in hotels with my service dog. She is not a "out in public dog with a vest" but for when i sleep, and its disturbing when people assume she isnt a service dog, because she lacks a vest. She doesnt go to the store, she doesnt go to restaurants, or to les scwab, but she does enter hotels and there is no reason for her to be in a vest ever. I live very secluded in the mountains, and shes never been on a leash. I dont need my back or shoulder pulled out of place because someone says she needs to be restrained on a leash.

There is not any type of legit service dog paperwork. I carry my service dogs shot and training records just to have them, but by law, I'm not obligated to show the training records.
Here in the Ozarks, folks walk into stores with their dogs all the time. Heck, the Sheriff's bloodhound strolls into the local Dollar General by himself. The automatic doors open. The dog walks in and plops on the cool tile floor tiles to enjoy the AC and greet customers. Folks here are the best people.

Listen I've taken my dog off the leash inside stores and I have the proper papers and I've had people try being rude and disrespectful about my dog and Everytime I've laughed in people's face because I know my rights and the laws in my state but with that being said I won't take my dog somewhere I know he's not welcome

There might not be a legal requirement for service dogs to be identifiable, but there are still leash laws. And beyond that, private businesses can have this guy leave and just claim customer safety concerns.

Those aren't service dogs. No vests, no paperwork, not trained. Nope. If they bite somebody, he'll find out. I think the cop was just being nice and trying to get him out of the store.
Vests and paperwork are NOT required for service dogs.
@@departmentofredundancydept4121 . In my state they have to be on a leash and wearing a harness that is identifying that they are a service dog.

Bro I've seen a handful of your videos mainly these reaction type ones and since the very first one I saw of yours a few weeks ago you have given me the right frame of mind to be in at all times and that's "staying free" and "walk away" FOR SURE!
So I appreciate you very much because it makes it so much easier to walk away and not care if you look like a punk if your mind is on staying out of jail/prison which any situation could easily lead to in a situation second.
