Since it is definitely not fair for those who already here and spent lots of money and time. Also for PhD students who generally starts their research in the early 30s and will be 35 when they finish. Or are you just going to spread the news and fear without considering the life of those impacted?

The quality of education Australia provides is not worthy to spend a huge amount of money to get the degree. Also the research prospect is poor compared to USA. Everyone is here for settlement after study and its an open secret. After covid they took all of students because they needed money. Now its a big concern for them because all they did was unplanned and for their economical sake only. Tighten your rules, stick to it and you will see how the upcoming students will kiss the economy!
