Been a silencers fan since I was just a young girl in Glasgow and being lucky enough to be around when bands like these amazing dudes also the water boys the alarm echo and the bunny men the smiths U2 etc but Glasgow has always been and always will be the place for the best bands with the best crowd. Also the mckluskie brothers roddy frame/aztec camera. Aw I'd love to go back for a wee visit lol xx

seen this band in Edinburgh,queens hall,1992,pure brilliant,never got the recognition they deserved,still listen to them.
I wish that I could have been there...live in oz now... I miss the music soooooooo much. Had many a good night at Silencers gigs for many years before I left, allways the best from the whole band, Cha was allways just so COOOOOL.... God Bless You Cha, Jimme please continue to put out amazing songs,,,,The Silent Majority are LISTENING!!!! Thank you for the sound track to my life.

Jimme Oneil is one of the best if not the best songwriter ever to come out of Scotland.Well ahead of his time and a really nice guy too.Listen to the lyrics of Killing for god(from so be it)1st class.
The DVD is scheduled to be out January 2012...I live in the USA never seen the boys LIVE so I can't wait!!! I've been a fan of Fingerprintz/Silencers for 30 some odd years so the antissi pation is palpable...

It was an amazing weekend in Scotland for us . We had a lot of fun with Sample Minds in Glasgow ( The Ferry´s ) and The Silencers and Simple Minds at the Edinburgh Castle !!!!!!!!

Saw these guys live around the time this came out. The bass player joe donnelly was in Johnny and the Self-abusers before they became simple minds. This has great memories for me. many thanks!!

Painted moon is the best known song I know but what brought me here was the fact it has burns night mentioned in the description box there is the Scottish new year coming up and the conventional Xmas and happy new year coming up.

Love The Silencers is there a DVD of it available as I was at the gig. My eldest daughter now loves the band also. I've seen them a few times with her. PS I'm from Coatbridge.....

Y déchire trop, trop grave qu'ils est plus fait grand chose, trop de souvenirs, mais bon la version studio est meilleurs quand même, moins fausse coter chant.
