Snow blocks actually don't use a height limit. It just checks if there are 6 blocks in a column. If you use Yoshi to eat the snow, can you get infinite height?
@@SetsuneW The beauty of the Yoshi language is that they could be spouting the most offensive and racist slurs known to man, but you'd never know because all you're hearing is "Yoshi"
About the Yoshi breaking snow blocks thing at 7:26 We can see that the snow starts to come back even though the blocks are already at the height limit.
There isn't actually a technical height limit for the snow blocks, the limit is just how many snow blocks there can be in a column of space. You can see this if you dig a path underneath the snow by using the elephant fruit or Yoshi's tongue. It's weird, I know.
@@Whispernyani’ve always wondered whether it was intentional in SMW or if it was an accidental side effect of some other physics change to do with holding objects. (certainly carrying it forward into other games was a deliberate choice.)

2:23 That reminds me... Recently I've been digging through SMB Wonder files to see some Nabbit's animations. Then I found these animations that I believe are set to play during cutscenes between worlds. Few of them has this "ride" (mounted on Yoshi) version. I assume each character has their own unique animation for taking Royal Seed and World End cutscene with Yoshi as their ride?? Can someone confirm this?
I belive that characters are programmed to dismount Yoshi only by taking damage (you know, the Yoshi's Island knockback), by manually dismounting or by touching a Wonder Flower, so they have animations for everything that can happen in a level exept the cutscenes of the Wonder Flower. I can confirm that they indeed have animations for the scared free falling and every type of goal. I'm not sure about the world end cutscenes but if they have animation i'm sure they do play
This is one of five games in the main Super Mario series that I see as having taken a sharp turn away from what I think of as a classic theming formula of Mario’s typical adventures. The other four are Super Mario Bros 2, Super Mario Land, Super Mario Sunshine, and Super Mario Odyssey.
Honestly, the fact that there's THIS many tiny details in a 2D Mario game of all things is almost terrifying, but not in a bad way

I think it was great to do especially after the massive detail-bomb that the movie was

That's one strong yoshi to be able to carry elephant mario, even when he's sweating.
2:47 Yoshi's face lol. He is not havin' it.
The stylish backflip was probably my favourite.
It's actually a carry over from NSMB, as it was the only way to get off Yoshi.
I like how at the end the Yoshis say their name repeatedly with rhythm
Looygi Bros always has a great little end screen.
you made some clean transitions during the pipe part of the video

The snow doesn’t have a height limit but an amount limit. You can see it when yoshi starts eating the snow.
With the snow going higher if you break the snow on the bottom instead of the top, how high can you make the snow go? I wonder if there is a limit.
4:27 I actually didn’t notice that
The sheer amount of personality this game has is incredible! Wonder is just…..wonderful!
