"Raiders of the Lost Ark" has been my favorite film of all time, - I thoroughly enjoyed this, but so saddened to hear of how many of the actors have passed away. Thanks for making this.
Thank you for this tribute to all those in Raiders. My father Sonny Caldinez passed away on the 12th April 2022 and it was so kind of you to do this. Much love xx
I like all the Indiana movies but I think Raiders was the best then perhaps The Last Crusade. I think Harrison Ford held himself up wonderfully well in the last one & I think he is planning yet another. WOW, he is 78 now. As long as he thinks he can do it, why not. Good on him for coming this far. He is a fine actor who has made many great films.
It really is a superb sound track. I have blue rays of all the Indy movies. Once a year, I binge watch them all and it never gets old. I had a jacket made by Wested in England. They designed the first Indy jacket and it's like wearing the movie LOL !
This is showing what grow old is. And we can be seen the people lives toward for the next stage. I like seeing their transfiguration. I'm 71 years guy who just little tired.
Hello, I am french. Sorry, my comment is in french. In french, this movie calls :"Les aventuriers de l'Arche perdue". Très bon film. Harrison Ford est impeccable. La bande originale est merveilleuse et reconnaissable parmi des milliers. Bye bye.
These videos get better and better. Drilling farther down in the cast, more tidbits of info. Raiders was so huge in my youth. What a great opening sequence to grab the audience and it just kept going from there. Karen Allen was a beautiful and smart actress. The first two sequels were enjoyable but I always felt they made a mistake not keeping her on.
Karen Allen etai si belle a l'époque des aventurier en 1981. J'etai pas né mais ce film a bercer mon enfance c'est d'eilleur lui qui m'a rendu fan d'indi.
I'm 23 but watching this makes me feel old. I grew up watching Indiana Jones so it's astonishing to know that this movie is almost twice as old as me. The fact that so many have passed away due to cancer is scary.
Karen Allen still looks good.. sure she has changed, its called age..I think she looks great.. if I was single I'd ask her out even though I'm 12yrs younger
Best of the Indians Jones series n One of the best shows of the 80s when many top movies were produced like Aliens, Romancing the Stone etc. Harrison Ford seems to be the only one not to have aged 40 years.. how time flies. Sad.
We all age all of us, This reinforces the idea that you should cherish every day and when you wake up in a morning try and be a better person than the day before, remain humble, believe in yourself , believe in the work you do have a strong faith whatever that is and above all else, keep an open mind.
Wonderful video. Perfect music for it. I watched the movie again last night. I said to my partner this was the era of CEIII and Star Wars A New Hope. Time certainly has rushed by.. 😥
I always prefer the before and I include myself in that and I'm talking about looks and health. The things that improve after at least with me are experience, knowledge and wisdom.
Nice intro. 40 years passes in a flash! Lots of then thirtysomethings now in their 70's! Literally the only person I know of here is Ford. Still interesting to see the relentless ageing process. Good job tracking down these obscure people's current pics.
Harrison Ford has not let up as an actor. He has enough humor for all of us. The director no longer says, "No Harrison, of course you kiss the girl." He can now be cranky with a cigar, bald head and full beard. I am curious to see how Indy feels about married life. I personally find it very pleasant that he doesn't die again. BR 2049 and the last triology of Star Wars were successful. That makes it exciting with Indy V.
Denholm Elliot who played Dr. Marcus Brody. Looked lots like Darren McGavin aka Karl Kolchak in the Night Stalker horror Series. I loved that show and I would get scared alone in the house!
Grandes atores...deixaram seus legados e marcaram nossa ÉPOCA....um dia todos nos encontraremos com Jesus Cristo e será para sempre todos vivendo em pura harmonia.
7:30 Sonny Caldinez also used to get Ice Warrior gigs on the BBC science fiction programme Dr. Who during the Patrick Troughton and Jon Pertwee eras during the late 1960s and first half of the 1970s.
Absolutely love your vids!! Love the nostalgic music and these memories. Keep up the good work guys! Good to know where these people are at and what they're doing. Some sad, but some great. Second half of life is reality. Live it.
I always wanted to see this then and now video about Raiders of the Lost Ark, thank you. Trivia: Ronald Lacey who died in 1991 at the age of 55 shared a tragic twist of fate with Lee Remick, who died in the exact same year at the exact same age, two months apart
I'm happy that most of the actors are still with us. But it's sad that nearly all of the deaths were cancer related. We can send a man to the moon, but we will never cure cancer. Let's just hope we can cure COVID-19 soon!!!
Always wondered what happens to them great pictures I like it when you show the age and when they died and you tell why they died thanks for sharing 👍🇺🇸
I will always love the 3 IJ movies the fourth is crappy so it's like never happen.! Most people say that IJ and the Last Crusade is the best of the 3 but for me, the 3 movies are equal so fun to watch great stories awesome cast and actors actresses for all of it, I just love the 3 so much I can't choose to have the most loved one IMO and thanks for the great vid pal. 👍👍👌👌👏👏
Of all the films to feature indy, raiders is my favourite, it stands up even today, worst is the temple of doom, the last two weren't bad, hope they keep the spirit of indy alive, though might need cgi on Mr Ford

@@williamcureatz1628 It's not funny.
Star Wars made Harrison Ford known. Raiders of the Lost Ark made him a superstar.

It's so frightening as to how quickly 40 years pass
fuck yeah...I was 10...now im 50....
The only thing wrong with these videos, is that they make me feel old.
They make me feel fortunate to have my health and still be on the green side of the grass.
I'm older than many of those who've passed.
😀

I enjoyed a Big Mac combo for lunch with a coke and 6 McNuggtes.
@@KutWrite You have the perfect attitude.
The music behind it makes it even more haunting really emphasises the passing of time
I was thinking the same
I wish i knew what it was i love it.
I like it. Adds some mystique
It's always behind you every step. When your time has come, you'll know because it's in front of you.
So glad i grew up during the time all the best movies were being made
That's for sure. And actors had some class instead of the preachy, spoiled jerks we have today.
Me too
Exactly!
ijcn0jir3nvjn3fjcifn The 1980s had many classic films
Oh my me too
I remember Karen Allen As the best part of the movie....I've always appreciated watching her … )))

Karen Allen is an utter BABE and just a treat to watch on the screen.
these vids should make us all more urgent about our own lives and how fleeting it is.
My life is already over. Hah!
Karen Allen is so refreshing.
crazy 40yrs! one of the best movies ever made! well done, gave me chills.
From summer of 81 to now.. 39 years and still my favorite Film.

Don’t mind getting old. After watching the news today about the Coronavirus.
My all time favourite film and the only movie I’d grade as a perfect ‘10’.
Thanks for sharing World Review I enjoyed watching especially Karen Allen, she’s my favourite.
Thank you for sharing! Happy New Year! Keep them coming! Like I've alway's said i love the MUSIC!
Love how you now list before and now ages.
Karen Allen was and is a beautiful lady. I loved her work in Animal House, Cruising, Raiders, Scrooged and Perfect Storm to name a few.
And 1984's Star Man with Jeff Bridges .
@David Joe Yes I’ve got Starman in my Blu-ray film collection with Karen Allen It’s a great film that I’ve enjoyed watching many times.
@@m3snusteve Great movie!
Great actress and beautiful
I wanted to skip the first 2 minutes to watch the characters then and now but the music let me watched the intro. Thank you Mr. John Williams
The background music further increases man's powerlessness when facing time's relentless passing.

Wolf Kahler is still looking pretty damned good for being 79. No beating that jawline.
yeah and hes still doing voices for video games, has been doing it since the playstation 1 days
I really enjoy seeing how the people have changed, the years are better to some than others! Thanks for sharing!
On June we are going to celebrate the 40th aniversary of this fantastic movie.
Wolf Kahler doesn't get nearly enough credit for this film.
Holy cow I didn't know Alfred Molina was in Raiders of The Lost Ark, what a relative great start to a career
Amazing movie! Karen still beautiful!
A trilogy?!! How wonderful! 🌟🌟🌟

Clássico que marcou minha infância e de muita gente. Foram os anos e ficaram as maravilhosas lembranças do que vivemos.
The music has a sadness to it, just like the passing of time, kinda sad to see, Harrison Ford could still be indy one last time.
I saw this in the theater when I was 12 years old. Great Movie 🎥
Karen Allen looks the same, almost nothing has changed
She has wrinkles, she clearly has changed.
Is that comment for me?
Guys, they’re point is, she still looks the way she did in 1980. She still looks like herself does she not?
