Hi Isa! :) Just found your channel this week and I'm delighted with your enthusiasm! I was shocked hearing you talk about Caraval - as it's very similar to how I'd describe Erin Morgenstern's The Night Circus :0 I think I should read Caraval as well. Also I'm happy to see The Priory of the Orange Tree here on the list :) it's already downloaded on my audiobook app, I'll get to it soon. Hey, I'm also a fantasy youtuber, more or less same size as you. I'd love to chat! Sometimes this whole journey feels very lonely hahaha
Joriam! Yay! So happy you found the channel - welcome to this small family! What I’ve heard is that Caraval is very very different from The Night Circus! Later I’d seen is a bit more character driven and somewhat slow? Haha I guess I’ll need to read it and decide for myself! Great to know that you’re also a passionate booktuber! And ofc yes! We can chat via IG if you want :)
@@FunFantasyBooks Oh sure! I'll add you on insta - but I gotta say, that's the only social media where I don't talk about stories and books and whatnot. So you'll have to forgive my posts about pasta and old buildings 😂 I had to have somewhere to just take it easy I heard that a lot of people found The Night Circus slow - but I didn't have that impression! Still very interested in checking both Caraval and also The Girl Who Fell Beneath the Sea that you recommended in the other video, but I guess they'll have to wait through Babel! As far as I understood, you're a much faster reader than me, I gotta make tougher choices hehe
I really liked from blood and ash ! Rhapsodic seem really good too ! I have it in my why not one day wishlist ! Can't wait for the second new editions books of Wolfing !! These hollow vows was really good ! I have once upon a broken heart in my wishlist ! ACOTAR have my heart ! Crescent city omg such a master piece
The suggestive wink under the NA category is killing me! 😉 I will probably get to Bridge Kingdom later this month, I'm starting to feel the itch for that kind of romance. The Bargainer has an interesting premise, how spicy would you say it is, from one to five🌶?
Hahahah I really appreciate that you got the wink hahah 🤣!! Oh good!! Let me know how you feel about Bridge Kingdom!! Ummm I’d say it’s a 3.5 🌶️, probably a 5 for me it’s A King So Cold, so it sits somewhere in the middle! Ughhh by the way I am fairly obsessed with The Serpent and the Wings of Night if you want to have some good blend of action, romance and spice! Aannnnnnd maybeeee you can read The Ballad of Never After? Ugh! I am sure you’ll LOVE it!
Let me know what you think about this fantasy romance guide for beginners! ⬇️ (some of my favorite books are here!)
