This series is terrific!!!! I bought your book and it's super helpful, but this series adds great layers of nuances. Since I tend to overthink a lot and love digging into the nuance, I am loving combining your book with these videos! Thank you for your wisdom and hardwork!!!!
Thank you so very much, Lilipad! Yes, I started this channel to accompany my book. Even though I’m teaching the traditional way, most see it as a new method because it had almost become extinct in the English-speaking world! I knew it would take a lot to get people into a tableau-mindset ! 😀
@@lisaloveslenormand6357 and that’s wonderful Lisa! I find the new age method confusing as there are so many additional layer of meanings. So I’m grateful to have your traditional teaching as a solid foundation to fall back on!
FANTASTIC! I can’t wait until you get to the Key, Book! Then the Scythe and Clouds for their directional cues and explaining the light side meaning! I just can’t wait for more from you! I love your UA-cam channel💐☀️🌕
Hi, Lisa! It’s such a synchronistic moment for me that this video came up as soon as I loaded UA-cam. I had asked the universe to show me what video would benefit me the most today. I have been trying to get to the bottom of why the bear card keeps popping up in certain readings of mine. The other day I was asking a question about my husband and as I was shuffling these cards fell down in a fan in this order Bear-Man-Mice. I made sure to snap a picture so I could remember the order in the event they become relevant to my reading. I put them back in and shuffled and focused my question, cut the deck and then drew three cards. Guess what? They were the exact same cards in the same order!! I noticed that the bear and mice wasn’t included in your combos on here, but your information on the bear has really really given me a lot more insight on ways of interpretation. Thanks so much!!
Thank you, Tania and I hear you. Isn't the Clover also negative in Brazil? There are different methods that employ this deck, but I'm only teaching the original method based on the earliest writings and instructions that accompanied all early decks. As far as my personal use, I'll use any divination tool in any way that suits my purpose. 😀
These are such helpful videos, thank you. I’m not usually a visual or audio learner as I generally go to books - and your book will arrive this week - but I have to say that the way you have created all these teaching videos really resonates (I think it’s your background as a dog trainer! LOL which I’m sure you’re brilliant at as well). Sorry if I missed it but what is that final deck you’re using near the end to give examples with Bear? Blessings!
Thank you so much! I, too, always go to books first. YT has introduced me to video learning which is great when used as a supplementary learning source. Reading books is still number one, IMO. If you're referring to the last Bear card to be laid down, that's The Burning Serpent Oracle by Rachel Pollack and Robert Place.
Thank you so much, love this!! In a spread i did for a friend the Bear card is far, but the lady card intersects with her and the man card with Mice. the bear card is in his column and the mice is in her column. Do we describe the bear card meaning as in a far card meaning or not? was wandering because she is connected with the bear card through the 4 card intersection we do in a GT. Hope its okay to ask just i am unsure how to read the bear card now. thank you so much. really enjoying all your series. looking forward to your new book xx
Hi Nina. Near and far cards are based on proximity to the seeker. As for the partner, the cards touching will describe and explain how they're fitting into the seeker's story, as well as the cards that sit between them when they're close and the cards that intersect them. I'm not sure what you mean by "the 4 card intersection". It's hard to picture without a picture. If the Bear is far from the seeker, interpret it as far. If it's touching the partner, it still may be far from the seeker but it's now describing the partner. I don't know if any of this is going to make it clearer for you because I'm not exactly sure what you're looking at.
@@lisaloveslenormand6357 Thank you very much! i will try and explain again. i am talking about the two intersecting cards that connect the seeker to the partner card. they share these two cards. so the seeker card connects to the bear card in the partners column and then partner card connects to the mice card which is below her. these cards are very far! so i was wandering how i read the bear card? do i give the bear card its very far meaning or close meaning for the seeker. sorry about the confusion I hope it clearer now. thank you Lisa x
@@ninalerm4980 Ok, I get it now. If the Bear is far from the seeker, then they're lacking in strength, control, and support regarding the story that their closest cards are relaying. If the seeker connects to the partner via 15 and 23, this is showing an erosion of support and a loss of control. This fits with the far placement of the Bear which says the same. Intersecting cards are read as a pair and given the near or far meaning based on proximity to the seeker. Does that make sense?
This might be a dumb question. I associate bears with Slavic backgrounds including Russian, someone from Slavic countries or even Canada. When Bear arrives in my GT to describe a man I'm involved with or had been involved with, they're coming from this type of background. Is it universally acceptable to assign ethnic background to specific cards or keep it personal for self reads?
That's a great question! You can reserve that for your personal readings, but you can also assign ethnic backgrounds to all or several of the cards and charge them before certain readings such as a spread to determine where someone is from. You can also assign these traits to the cards to apply when reading descriptively.
Hi, you again! 😃. I've never given that any thought, but now that you mention it, I certainly see the connection between the Bear as a boss, a strong person, or one who supports you, so absolutely! It could also be compared to the Older Woman with regard to the motherly aspect of that card (mama bear) as well as support.
@@lisaloveslenormand6357 thank you so much for your constant support. would love to know if you pay attention to direction of painitngs in the cards.. i dont think ive read it in your book.
@@liatkan Can you elaborate on that question? Are you asking if I acknowledge the direction of the images as we do with Kipper? Under each card section of my first book, I have a section called, "Directional Cues".
The Bear can take charge and dominate and assert his will in an attempt to protect what it possesses or wants to possess. The Ring is a commitment - an official bond or contract. When it appeared touching the Man card in a reading I did for a female seeker, her boyfriend had given her an ultimatum to marry or leave.
In contrast to one of the things you said - the art work DOES matter and influence an interpretation so that's exactly why you need to be mindful of on getting decks whose artwork sticks close to the basic energetic meanings of each card (if you're going to use them in readings unless you're collecting the deck just for viewing and admiring and NOT for a genuine Lenormand reading.
You're correct. I'm not sure how I worded it. It's not that it doesn't matter - quite the opposite - the point is that it shouldn't matter in the Petit Lenormand. You should be able to read with any deck, but beginners should certainly stick with traditional decks so they aren't swayed by the images. Regardless of whether that bear is fierce and threatening in appearance or wearing a tutu and blowing kisses, the meaning of the card is the same.
