Your layout Kiwi. You do what you want, when you want, and hold onto the pleasure and not let working on the layout become onerous or obligatory. I'll be watching regardless of the interval between posts mate. cheers
Well done for 10k Julian! Well deserved I am sure and everyone could probably give plenty of reasons why they follow you and Station Road. You make exceptional models and have an inspiring attention to detail. Understand the need for a break sometimes, after all it is part of the creative process, a bit of stand back thinking time whilst attending to other tasks. Huge thanks for what you give us.😀🙏
Great catch up Julian. Yes you're right about the burn out, that's when you make mistakes and it's damn frustrating at time. Winter time in the UK so not so pleasant in the garage. Looking forward to spring and general maintenance work. Keep well, Regards Kevin
Am just getting started in model railways and I find your videos both entertaining, interesting and very informative. Thanks for taking the time and trouble in putting them together, and for sharing your knowledge and experience with all of us out here.
Hi Julian, First well done on reaching 10,000 subscribers!! I enjoyed the montage of the build, we all need a rest from layout or over project builds, when you come back you have a fresh set of eyes and ideas. I never expect any UA-camr to churn out vlog after vlog just wait and see what comes 🙂👍
Hi Julian, congrats on the 10K, very well deserved. I thoroughly enjoy your builds and following the progress of the layout. I too enjoy the builds although I'm way short of your skills. The viaduct is certainly impressive and I love the way it joins with the steel structure. Thanks for sharing & inspiring us. Cheers Dave 👍🙏
It does a power of good to step away from the hobby for a while, and real life does get in the way at times. Congratulations on passing the 10K mark, and here's to many more excellent Station Road videos.
Excellent summing up of what has been a fabulous development on the layout. Seems like only yesterday you were asking us what section you should tackle next! 😄 You deserve a break anyway mate. If you overdo it, you can soon feel almost resentful like it has become a job and a chore. That is when you need to take a step back! 😉 Cheers Jules, and congrats on passing the 10k mark! 👍🍀🍻
Keep doing what you do best Julian that is how I see your channel it's not about quantity it's about your ideas and the way you tackle it, your chanel is one of the best in our hobby.
As long as you are ok, Julian, no pressure here wrt frequency. I still haven't gone through all your older videos yet, if you relax for a bit it might give me chance to catch up 😅
You do have to step back from time to time to keep a healthy vision going. Your channel is going great Julian. I wish my channel was doing one tenth as good, but there you go. Happy Modelling Mon
Good morning Julian it would seem we are alike in more than a few ways one I'm more into scenics than actually the train running. Don't get me wrong I like to see my trains run but it's better as it crossing over a bridge over a river or running through a cutting. Also sometimes I just need to walk away take a break. And yes my wife has ideas of the things she wants done but you met her anyway at gets. Won't say any more have a good week I will await your next video. Stephen

Lift offs are great, but my experience, once lifted off I have nowhere to put them down. I need some sky hooks in the layout room. LOL

Julian: Excellent recap. I was starting to worry about your absence. Looking forward to continued progress on the layout.
