Hi! Word of warning about the Artistro watercolor pencils... make sure to test them on your paper. They work well in some books... but crazy in others. I have this set and a few others...I also use a colorless blender to activate them instead of water to not warp the pages. Look forward to seeing more from you!

I just got my alcohol markers 🤩😍🤩 and I must say, I’ve picked them up every single day since I’ve gotten them. It is so soothing and satisfying to work with them and the end result makes me so happy ☺️🧡
I’ve never been this serious about coloring and now that I am, I stare at my own pages the way I do with everyone else’s haha This community is brilliant and I’m so happy to be here! Thank you for your kind words! Happy New Year to you as well!!
The coloring part is easy, finding a quiet spot in the house to record is the tricky part 😂 I’m so looking forward to this as well though! Thank you so much!
If I could have added more to my first haul, she would have definitely been in there. I’m still missing so many illustrators in my collection, but it’s going to have to be a steady pace or I might have to ground myself for not following my budget rules 🤣
Amazon paper= it can be different depending on location it’s printed at. I’ve had some with decent paper and some with very thin paper. Even the more decent paper is not as nice as paper in say a Johana Basford book.
Gotcha! I have been watching more haul videos and I think I’ve been understanding it’s more of who they got their books published with if I’m not mistaken? So that’s something I’ll have to learn and pick up on as I’m making finale decisions on my own hauls. I think I’m more interested in single-sided pages at that point, but I do know certain inks spread different and certain pencils lay different on different paper types. I’ll just have to keep testing everything out. But thank you for explaining! Any tutoring I can get, I’ll take! 🧡
