MDMA, FDA-panel & Mysticism (ICPR 2024)

Carl travels to the Netherlands where the field's researchers gather in Haarlem for the largest psychedelic conference in Europe. As the initial hype faces a period of consolidation, it leaves more room for critical perspectives.
In this video, Carl asks the researchers about the FDA-panel that voted against the approval of MDMA. He also investigates the concept of mystical-type experiences and the questioning of the narrative brought from the 60's into modern psychedelic research by the researchers at Johns Hopkins.
Will MDMA be approved at the 11th of August? Is there better experiential constructs than the mystical experience? Where will psychedelic science be in 10 years? This, and many more questions are answered by the field's researchers in the video.
