The ZT 0350 was my very first knife, absolutely loved it when I got it and still do. Definitely wish they'd bring back some of the older models with updated steels and refined actions. Great GREAT knife!
I bought two 0350 around three years ago had to get rid of them needed some quick cash. Just got a new one a week ago. Didn't really consider anything else I really like this knife.

The last couple years I've really jumped feet first into the knife life. When I set my heart on a ZT, the only one for me was an 0350TS. Because Gibbs.
He used a 0303TS (and occasionally a 0301TS), which is a slightly larger (and better/nicer) version of the 0350TS with a 3 3/4" blade and titanium frame lock.....ZT stopped making it years ago, but I have one and it's a tank.
This just makes me wish ZT would bring back the 301, 302, and 303. Thanks for sharing though!
I can’t believe there are only 39 comments on this video nearly a year old. That was a great comparison of 2 truly beautiful knives. Fine job David. I bought a 357 about 2 months ago and have been carrying it daily since then. I’m loving it. It was my first ZT knife. I’ve got the 350TS on my wish list though. I’ve enjoyed the 357 so much, I don’t believe the 350 could beat it. But it just looks so cool, that I have to get it a try.

I have two 0350’s, one with non coated plain blade and the other partially serated tiger stripes! Can’t go wrong with the 0350!
What are the variations of the 350? Are they all the same price?
@@deanraney1049 I believe these come in contoured handles as well now. As far as price, everything is pricey now days! Get what you want and enjoy!
The 350 is my edc working horse, never failed, always fun, gets every reasonable job done.
I just got the Kershaw Link in cpm20cv. Very similar to the 0357 but almost half the price. Although I prefer G10 to the aluminum handles of the Link, they put some texture on the aluminum that adds some grip, and you can't beat that price!
I used to have a pretty good rotation of EDC knives. Right now the 20cv Link is winning every day
I had the link in S35VN from House of Blades and absolutely loved it but it got stolen was so pissed. When I went to replace it with the 20cv version i heard about the 0357 and finally decided to go with it after weeks of debate and boy I haven’t been disappointed. The 0357 feels better in the hand, G10 on it is amazing, blade slices like a dream, and just overall feels better quality than the Link, but I will be getting another link in 20CV very soon.
@@kylewadlow3361 thanks for the heads up. I'd imagine the fit and finish is better, but I can't justify the price difference. I really do like G10 scales. I keep hoping someone will makes replacement scales. Micarta would be awesome too.
The 350 had always been one of the best bang for the buck deals in all the knife world, especially when you could routinely find them around $135-140. The new 0357 seems to be a great new alternative while keeping the same ZT hard use soul. Great video.
Just picked up a 0350 and a 0562cf. They need to bring back the 0566!!
I've got both models, and they're excellent knives.
I have had the 0350 on my side since 2014, and the only knife I temporarily replace it with is my Karambit.
I sure do like the 0350ts!! I better get one before for some reason I can't!

That drop point recurved blade on the 350, makes for my go to steak knife. All around great cutter. Feels like you can cut more with less.
Nicce comparison...I have both, but prefer the 0357. Mostly because I like the 20cv and the blade shape better.
350 is a classic bruiser at a great price. One of the only speedsafe knives that feels like it should have speedsafe.
Tiger Stripe, I am a sucker for that look. Also like the overbiult tank look of the ZT350

The Onion/Strider Design just looks better, unlike the kinda generic ZT in-house design

2 great choices to consider for any "collection" but I'd keep them at home. :) Likely to fail most carry law requirements in most states. :) I believe the typical blade length limit is 3"??

I wouldn’t buy any of these knives because of the assist. Or so I thought. I bought the 357 from Dicks last night and it replaced m Benchmade Osborne 940 with m4 steel as my new work edc!!! This knife is awesome and that 20cv came to a mirror polish after I put it on the kme sharpener!!! The steel was a lot easier to work with then I thought it was gonna be

I love the blade shape and design. But….. unfortunately I can’t carry it for more then a few hours because the blade will start developing surface rust. Never had experienced this, not even with a Walmart $10 folder.

ZT 0350 is the best ever. It's a shame they've discontinued it.
Why do some 350s have different color blades? I know there's the tiger but there's also just plain black and silver

My pick is 0350 w/ s30v is less brittle & will not chip as easy
My 0350 is my proven workhorse. O357 looks interesting.
I prefer pocket clips not to be deep carry as clips tend to dig into my palm

You can easily remove the internal spring. I did and I enjoy my 0350 much more!
0350 for sure. The tip looks far stronger on it compared to the 0357.

The 350 is ugly, I don’t like the flat g10 scales in terms of usability and aesthetics. It reminds me though of the 0301 which I have and love, the contouring of the handle makes it 10x better than the 350. Just got my 0357 last week and I’ve been carrying it every day, I am loving it!
What's the blade thickness between the two?
Both the same at 0.12 inches - about 1/8" thick
