And for us Brazilians then 😂🤣hahaha, my country is a colony, it supplies raw material but the vast majority of the population will not be able the technology. Car of this size here in Brazil should come complete and more honest prices, and of course level 2 armor😅
Paying MSRP is one thing, paying markups is another. Refuse to buy base on dealer’s speculation, specially considering the poor reputation some dealers have even when dealing in normal conditions.
A factory direct purchase would most likely cost more. The cost to import the car from Japan directly from the manufacturer without a distribution system in place would be at least $25k more. $15k of that would probably just be to ship it here alone. Dealers get bulk purchasing pricing. Their mark ups are justified because people are willing to spend that money. It's called capitalism 😂
You just have to call the store and ask if they're selling at MSRP if they have hidden prices, almost every dealer has addendums not including a markup, my dealership sold at MSRP only with zero markups.
I prefer the round headlights shown on the silver version truck in this video. It reminds me of my family's FJ-60, which I thought always looked better than the square headlights on the FJ-62.
Cheaper GX 550 with two fewer cylinders. I think they're both beautiful. Shudder to think about how much the dealers will mark them up. Now, show us the new 4Runner.
I reallly like the 1958 trim, it has such a nice retro from the past. I think the ideal thing to do is bring down a stripped down version below the 1958 model with smaller engine with 250HP with a hybrid system. This will be priced as much as bronco sport, and the interior will be much like the FJ cruiser, less cloth and more plastic for cleaning mudding and offroading. This way somebody can get into landcruiser at below the 40 to 48G mark. Or bring a small verion of this model LC. You want a model you can easily wipe down without fabric cloth. I think this will be a good option for younger person to get into landcruiser. And I hope the 4runner will be more premium above the Landcruiser, and will be the bronco and Wrangler competitor.
Now I’m torn between getting either a Sequoia or a Land Cruiser in the future I shouldn’t worry though cuz I still have my 2014 Toyota Corolla LE Eco to stick to with less than 17,000 miles until it reaches 100,000 🔥
Really disappointed in the tire selection. Looks like we all have to spend money on a new set of all terrains immediately after purchase to get a decent set of tires. Why can’t we get it from the factory?
Most factory tires are garbage. OEM tires typically have less tread or are watered down versions of the same aftermarket brand/model. Why? Cost savings and less fuel consumption to meet EPA MPG estimates. So off to Discount Tire you go...
@@brianfl33916 better off with their own pocket for their own purpose needs. Here in Arab world especially Gulf nations most Nissan Patrol and Cruiser owner prefer narrow balloon retro looking desert runner tyres

Has anyone noticed that the Land Cruiser only tows 6000 pounds. The old Land Cruiser V8 has 401 Lb ft of torque with 8100 lbs of towing. The new 4cylinder hybrid 465 lb ft of torque with 6000 lb towing. Now you can see why smaller engines cannot pull like larger engines. The reciprocating mass of the engine matters for pulling power. The Lexus GX 460 4.6 V8 with only 329 Lb ft of torque tows 6000 lbs. Physics matters people. That 4 cylinder is working too hard to have larger towing. I wanted to see what the towing was going to be. This electric motor while reliable, not assisting as much as I thought is would be. That is why the lower towing numbers. It's the gas engine towing not the the electric motor. It is there for stop and go situation and to get the vehicle moving from a stand still. This should have had the V6 turbo as an option for people that need the towing capacity.
Toyota, I plan on trading in my 21 Tacoma for a new Tacoma Pro or Limited in the next few years, Please figure out how to stop dealers from putting crazy markups on your vehicles!! 😡
To bad its a 2.4 liter 4 cylinder instead of the same engine as the GX they put in this rubbish. Only paying for the LandCruiser name. I rather pay for the GX.
TOYOTA never listens to its customers, never a survey to find out what they want in their next models: it should never come with such small wheels, it should come with 33" or 35" wheels similar to the Ford Bronco. It doesn't even allow you to put larger tires than the ones it comes from stock.
@@UrbanOpsOffRoad My concern is that they are moving away from the tried and tested design/engine known exclusively for its reliability to now only introduce this unproven technology. What they should have done is at a minimum provide the consumer of this iconic vehicle the option to go with something well established or the new technology. I don’t think the crowd that traditionally follows this vehicle would want to spend a good amount of money to serve in the test case and see if it will be long lasting.
