I remember when this thing was built, I fell in love. I downloaded the images of this thing and still have them on my old Mac. I'm glad this thing is still alive.
Toyota needs to bring this car to the US market and success will be guaranteed! This is all that is required from the automotive giant!!!!

This is the Land Cruiser I personally wanted built. I have been asking for a 4 door FJ40 and when it is not built I buy a Wrangler and call Toyota and let them know they lost another sale
The main national bush safari operator in South Africa 🇿🇦 doesn't allow Jeep on outdoor adventure drives, a breakdown in the bush can lead to fatalities. Jeep is good for the dune aquifer northwest of Cape Town, just 40km from the city. But don't go to Garaghab or Dabenoris with a Jeep; seen one's left wheel come off and recovery was a challenge in wild Africa.
I really believe that Toyota would completely dominate the 4X4 market with the return of this style of Land Cruiser, Jeep and Bronco would really loose a bunch of customers once this vehicle hit the showrooms. I for one would be right there in line to get one.
Now that’s a Wrangler and Bronco competitor right there.
Now, why didn’t y’all build this? It would have sold like hotcakes just amazing beautiful stunning Toyota.

Here’s my issue with Toyota and my only issue .
They know what we want , they tease use with it . A body on frame , low feature, off road capable vehicles with a decent engine and no turbos. And won’t give it to us. If you’re worried about them sitting on lots , they won’t but if you are, just make them by order only .

Car manufacturers never bring out cool things like this. They always tease everyone with a kick-arse concept vehicle, only to dump a pile of turd 💩 on the market. If Toyota brought this thing - exactly like it is here. That would be the most popular vehicle in the world.

Independent front suspension are weak sauce. Real 4x4 are built on solid axle. Period ! No ands ifs or buts.
Stop selling frat bot trucks. Start selling real mens trucks.
