    Totally forgot to mention that some other things I do are: -Watch movies (any videos) in the other language (especially cartoons intended for children for simpler language - for beginners)
    -Play video games (especially one you've already played yourself so you're not lost) in the target language
    -Listen to music in the language and ideally try to sing it yourself

      So could you please recommend some cartoons in Spanish (with simpler language) that you liked?

      @@namaoum I haven't studied Spanish, so I can't give any recommendations for it, but I have heard from others that Duolingo has good Spanish podcasts!

    The funny thing is that I actually already stumbled across this video a few months before I uploaded the video you commented on. I remember seeing it and being fascinated by the amount of languages that you speak and as a language lover myself I always found maintaining a language much more difficult than actually learning one (especially when it comes to motivation). There are countless beautiful languages out there, and each and every single one opens so many new doors. Great video, hope you keep uploading :)

    How old are you?
    May be you would find useful to know that word «Челябинск» has an accent on the second syllable, not the third.

    Моя мама сама из россии, и отец из германии, но в англии родился. И по скольку я не живу в лондоне, встречи с такими людьдми как я, редкие. И естественно я их дорожу до бескрайности.
    Так что, я уважаю то, что изучаешь языки, и не сказала себе, что только потому что уже знаешь русский, другие языки не счесть.
    Sorry for the long comment, I'm just always excited when I meet a russian/X mix who knows russian. Forgive any grammar mistakes above, my Russian isn't perfect, and I know the way I wrote sounded pretentious, but I've been reading much lately, and what happens is that I begin to sound like a book after not speaking/listening to russian speakers for a long time, and that makes it weird; also, full-stops are a myth

    The pocketbook is amazing especially because the dictionaries are so easy to use... But they did not bother providing (or selling) a Swedish-to anything (and not even a Swedish-to-Swedish) one, and that's the main language I am learning :(

      @ValeriaTiourina  4 роки тому

    A Microsoft jacket was the last thing I was expecting to see lol. Are there any other languages you want to learn? Already having a strong foothold in Chinese would help you with the kanji aspect of Japanese!

    • @ValeriaTiourina
      @ValeriaTiourina  5 років тому

      Haha, I was an intern at Microsoft last summer and got a jacket :)
      I'm interested in Japanese, German, and Spanish; I would definitely be interested to at least get a chance to study them at some point! Right now though, I've been focusing on learning Chinese, and reviving some of the older languages since I don't use them as much.
      I don't know a lot about Japanese, but the only thing I assume is that kanji are derived from the traditional Chinese characters (but I learned simplified). Probably will just be some more work 😅 thankfully, the challenge doesn't scare me away
