Mole skin tip...... We used mole skin during volleyball when we would get terrible blisters. So IF you already have a blister cut a hole into the center of your piece and put your mole skin on with the blister in the cut out hole. This way the sticky mole skin won't tear off the blister OR if the blister already popped and is raw the adhesive won't hurt it. The thickness of the surrounding moleskin should protect that injury. If it isn't thick enough put 2 layers of moleskin on to increase the thickness. Hope this helps!

It is also easier to cut round the corners of the moleskin and use a dart at each corner so it bends and fits certain areas better. With a rounded edge, the corners won’t lift up as easy.

We used to tell our camp kids to let us know when they even had a hot spot as their boots were almost always wet! Moleskin is almost like duct tape for all its uses.

Another use for water shoes is in the shower. If you have balance issues or if the shower gets rather slippy, they can give you so much better footing. This goes for hotels, cruises, even fitness facilities....

I have a tip if you’re going on a cruise ship that has a laundry room and that’s to bring laundry detergent sheets. The Dollar Tree actually carries them for just $1.25. They also carry travel size liquid detergent but the sheets are much easier to pack and really don’t take up any room at all.

Thank you for your information shared. We were watching as a random search after dinner, my adult son and myself, and our ears picked up excitedly about the moleskin blister prevention tape. We have never heard of it. At the moment he is limping and hobbling with blisters from new shoes. Have paddeded and taped the blisters at present. I read some comments and was really taken by how many people have used it and know it's a great product. So off we go searching for it online. Thanks so much for sharing. It may change the way we now protect our feet with new shoes. Bandaids are not great, terribly fiddly and fall off.

Have used mole skin and is lot better than a bandaid. But now like the BANDAID blister packs, for heel and for toe. They have something in them, and they really seal and pad the blister - puff up, and just leave on and on until it disappears. Was like a miracle first time I used.

20 years ago my husband and I walked across England. He, silly man, decided to wear new boots, as opposed to getting his broken boots resoled. We were walking an average of 18 miles a day, and by the end of day 3 his feet looked like minced meat. He put moleskin, pretty well everywhere, and we were able to finish the walk. Most incredible 2 weeks of my life. We walked 200+ mikes, climbed 10000+ feet and took zillions of pics. 14 days in England with only 4 hours of rain. We came back with suntans, never heard of in the UK.
    Really enjoy following you. 👍🏻

Double socks gives you slip you need too. I was also taught not to put duct tape directly on your skin, by actually one of my campers, as it will tear skin off! I was taping an ankle so I just taped on top of a thin sock. Yes it left a bit of glue on the sock, but better than tearing my skin off. Of course, this was before someone decided to make cheaper duct tape that doesn’t really stick!

Ilana, I’ve been using shampoo and conditioner bars for years and love them. They’re not all created equal, so you may need to try a few different brands before you find one that works for your hair. I do like the Kitsch brand but found that after about 3 weeks, the shampoo bar “dries out” and gets cracks in it, making it difficult to rub into your hair.

Great ideas! I used to participate in the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer (39 miles over 2 days) and used moleskin the entire time. Definitely worth it!

I’ve been using Lush brand bar shampoo and conditioner for years for travel. They make a variety for different hair needs so you will find one good for your hair. I also use their soaps as well, they are so yummy I’ve stopped using shower gel even at home. I also always have a bit of moleskin in my bag to cut to size. Best thing to prevent blisters or deal with a sore spot from too much walking.

Llana first I would like to say that I absolutely love your videos! Your energy is addicting and I love it!
I just wanted to say that my son used Mullkin when he was in the army. They worked fantastic in his hiking boots when he would have to walk miles and miles carrying 100 pounds away.

I have used the same brand of tea tree shampoo bars and i absolutely love it. I didn’t however, enjoy the conditioner bar. For some reason, It left my fine hair limp and greasy. When i only used the shampoo bar, i got a great lather and my hair was so clean! I will have to maybe try a different conditioner bar to see if it was just that particular one

Llana…you do not have to take the entire shampoo bars on your trips. You cut a section off and it’s even less to pack! I use Lush brand all the time. I found lightweight plastic containers on Amazon that are inexpensive to carry parts of these in …I’ll try to find the link!

I saw on Amazon the brand you showed has a sample pack that includes the one you showed and another version. Would be great for a 7 day cruise or shorter. The bars are smaller, so take up even less space.

I have that back pack and it is amazing. I can get as much in this backpack as I can in half my carryon size roller bag. Added bonus, it fits under the airplane seat on American and Southwest. I haven’t been on other airlines since I bought this but don’t see why it wouldn’t fit.

Many years ago I booked a room in another state. Later that night, someone tried to open the door (that led to the outside) because the motel had booked the same room to two different people. Now I make sure the door doesn’t lead to the outside when I book a room. I think the lock is a must for all travelers, especially solo travelers

Love the soft waist band. The solid shampoo and Conditioner look solid. I love Moleskin, it is fabulous. I used the compression socks when I went to Alaska. They were amazing. BE WARNED I have that backpack. Yes it has a ton of room but gets so heavy that I was in agony!!! 😢 Instead I have ordered a small TravelPro bag which has wheels. Do those sandals have cushioning. I almost lost one of my air tags because it was loose. I ordered the tags into which I can insert them.

The handheld fan was a lifesaver when we had to be outside in the Texas heat all day a couple of years ago. Definitely works well. We've been using moleskin for years as we used to hike and run, it does the job of preventing blisters.

for a fan, I prefer the USB mini fan for iphones. It is small fan that will fit in your bag or pocket and then you can plug it into the charging port of your phone and you have a great little fan.
Would never travel without the Moleskin that you can cut to what ever your need.

I started using moleskins some 40 years ago for when my husband I would go hiking. They're indispensable!
I also found compression LEGGINGS on Amazon that I bought when I was getting vein work done on my legs. They're still tight to put on but not as much of a struggle as full length compression stockings!!!
On the subject of solid shampoo and conditioner, I bought some about three weeks or so, but kept forgetting to try it. I finally tried it on Tuesday, and it really is a game changer! The convenience and portability is brilliant but I am SUPER impressed with how it lathered and how soft my hair was after it was dried! I'm sold!!!

Have used moleskin for 20+ years ??? to protect from blisters from my hockey skates when hockey starts ramping up every August (Canadian).. Works wonders! Makes excessive walking a piece of cake in a variety of shoes like dress shoes/sandals etc. and situations ( looking at you Vegas)
