In this episode, the gang starts off talking about cryptocurrency and the importance of investments, which turned into a reflection on how the black and poor community teaches (or doesn’t teach) their kids about how vital investments are.
The subject of family relationships and investments moved into a conversation about the dangers of family members feeling entitled to other family member’s time, and how that affects people. They emphasize the importance of being one’s own person, ending the talk on training oneself to not always pick up the phone.
They then went into a discussion about the deceptions or surprises that they felt about adulthood. Speaking about what they were never told would happen, things they were told to do or not do that they didn’t listen to, and ended the episode talking about novice relationships and what heartbreaks can cause to adults who are not prepared to deal with such a traumatic experience.

This is the best episode I’ve listened to. Dropping gems. I throw most of my money into investments (mostly stocks, also crypto), whole life policies, and next to nothing into traditional retirement vehicles. Real estate is the move I am most excited about getting in to. We’ve got to study what the rich do and apply it, and spread that information.

This is the story of my life. I've been a mom and a fixer my entire life... I take care of everybody. If there's a problem, I'll solve it, or we'll figure this thing out together. Call me in the middle of the night, I'm jumping in my car and riding out no questions asked, and you can explain on our way back once upon a time. That was then, now, I've become very selective about how I move, and I don't jump and do anything. I don't even have a working voicemail anymore. I realized that some people felt entitled to accessing me, and despite all the many times I made myself available, even if it was a huge inconvenience to me, that one time I said, 'I can't' it was met with guilt trips, an attitude, or literally telling me how to move things around to accommodate them. I've lost a lot of friends over the years, not as close to some family members either, but the real ones adjusted to the change because the people under my roof are at the top of my priority list, and I won't apologize for it.

@@LovesAlchemist Thank you... it's now about balance and healthy boundaries. I can't be everything to everybody all the time. I wish someone told me sooner... definitely learned the hard way, but now, it's all good. If I can, I will, but only if it doesn't compromise my duty to my household.

Very true! I’m the same way now. My daughter comes first. Only people outside of her is my elderly parents are who I will still do things for.
I was buying ADA at .06c and it hit like 2.50+ and i used profits to buy a bunch of NFTs, miners, and nodes. My nfts went crazy in value and they metaverse pieces, the miners and nodes make money 24/7. Im just buying more miners and investing in newer crypto projects trying to rinse and repeat.

I completely agree with Ice here, for a change. You have to learn how to fail and not feel like your value is worthless afterwards. Relationship failure hurts deeper, but knowing how to survive failure helps build the foundation that will keep you standing after a break up. I learned this during my divorce in 2016.
Love the investment talk that’s my bag right there! I’m all about stocks and crypto that’s how I made my wealth these past 2 years I’m not into real estate like ish I’m completely opposite I rather not deal with the physical like a house I rather deal with stocks because I can sell quicker and buy quicker PLUS there are Reits ( real estate stocks) so I do have my foot in the housing market I just don’t have to deal with people and a house which is fine with me!

I think bitcoin is the ceiling for crypto. Alt coins seems more like a thing for day traders. It’s a little too late to put money in bitcoin unless you have a bag to throw in at it. Ether rum has a lot of ups and downs but might be lucrative.
