This is a very hot debate topic which runs during breakfast and evening snacks in Indian households. Gagan, you have summarized the reasons very well. 7-Seater really comes in handy if your relatives are visiting you often and you want to take short trips inside or outside the city; at that time instead of carrying 2 cars.. it is better to carry one car. The joy of having your loved ones around you and sharing a journey is difficult to measure in terms of any practical method. Off course, with 2 children it is easy for them to use the 2 back rows for sleeping on a longish journey. In case you have more luggage then even all the seats can be folded to create a big bed in the behind and children can enjoy in there. This is what practically happens in indian households..
Point 2 k common point ki tarah aap rakh sakte the. Agar koi afford kar sakta hai and parking space ki kami nai hai to one should go for a seven seater. In fact I will prefer a base model 7 seater over a top model 5 seater. Uski long time practical utility will be much much higher.Spare a thought on this and make a video if u think same.
Once we were traveling in our Honda City 5 adults + one 13yr old teen who didn't look his age, traffic police pulled over and didn't let us go citing 6 people traveling in a 5 seater, all other paper work was ok but he was determined to get some money from us,so we payed him Rs 200,and a small lesson was learnt that day. Getting a 7 seater on paper even if you don't use it can be handy in situations like these.
I drove Indica for 8 years and then shifted to Ertiga which I drove for 5 years and then now to Scorpio N. The last row was used barely on 10-12 occasions for seat people. But the best use the extra seat is for luggage. But the biggest and positive perk of a seven seater is the middle row recline that comes with it. Which even luxury segment 5 seaters do not offer at times. In my opinion, the 5+2 config can be looked at as an adjustable second row. Today we have lot of options in the 7 seater segment with varied drivability options and size. 7 Seater is better if cross-over is an option. 5 seater purely can be a budget/family size or second car option. With seven seaters expect your friends and relatives ask you for your car for their trips. 😁
@@varuntomer1725 I'm a family of 3, work in IT and also have parallel work. I found 7 seater a better option while doing long runs as the extra wheel base adds a layer of comfort. This video looks different. Gagan looks smaller as compared to the cars. Was green screen used for shooting, and the background added later? Something is different in the shooting technique. 🤔
7 seats ka use saal me maximum 4-5 baar hoga. I guarantee it. Otherwise gaadi me 4-5 log hi baithne wale hain, ya most of the time 1-2 log. , Aur agar 2 log ko kahi Jana hai ( function etc. ) aur waha aap 7 seater gaadi lekar pahuch jaate hain to vo odd lagta hai. That's fact. Esliye don't buy seven seater. Buy 5 seater with good boot space and build quality.
Mujhe genuinely requirement hai 7 seater car ki kyun ki meri family me utne log hai. Lekin jitni bhi 7 seater dekhta hun usmein boot space kuch khaas nahi. Kya fayada phir 7 seater leke?
Tata harrier xza+ vs Safari xza which one to opt (sunroof is not required, but harrier xza miss some good to have feature like electronic brake, auto hold, four disc brakes, auto dim irvm; which are available in safari xza) only issue with harrire xza+ is sunroof. please tell your opinion
Very good analysis. Please make more such value driven topic videos. To add, I also liked your Breakfast with Gagan Video where you showcased the actual mileage of that commuter segment bike, it's relevant in today's inflationary times. Keep it up.
Goa trip toh hota hain mera every year. Mostly new year ke liye. South Goa. Ek badi SUV toh chahiye ghar mein. Scorpio N is a very good option. RWD, 4x4, good space, nice comfort, great suspension, strong built, big tyres. Its better than Fortuner.
Parking is another issue in this matter, majority of the folks living in the cities do not have the space for two cars (5str), so they go for 7str option and vice versa
I bought xl6 in November last year and am thoroughly surprised. It's a wonderful car. I bought xl6 after driving XUV 500 for 10 years. Xl6 is the best city car with a huge boot space.
@@devbratsingh3523 I'm getting very similar around 14 in normal traffic. But in rush hour delhi bumper to bumper condition the mid goes down to 11-11.2 as well. Though in moving traffic I have also gotten 16-17, but only a few times. The MID is very random with the mileage also the fact the fill fuel light turns on with more than 9 litres of fuel in the tank leads to range anxiety in the car.
@@kirankumarmrjain it depends... i think if you are on a tight budget hands down xl6 is better. Also if you are buying the natuarally aspirated carens, then again i would go with xl6. Just don't go for xl6 if you only want mileage. In hybrid/ mild hybrid cars you have to drive in a way to get mileage. I get 17kmpl and also 11kmpl. depends on how I am driving and the road I am driving on. Carens has more shoulder space at the last row, doesnt matter in the middle row as they have captain seats. In my opinion the seats on the xl6 is way more comfortable than carens. Also xl6 especially when there are 3-4 people sitting in the car, really sticks to the ground at high speeds on the highways and gives very good confidence. The weakness i would say is the feeling of the engine, it's supposed to be a family car so misses on oomph, i mean it's not very torqy. So if you are buying the turbo version of carens , then carens is better.
Good video. Please make such videos. Sitting low in a car is not comfortable for senior citizens. So, higher seating position is preferred by senior citizens as well as drivers. The space to lie down in the second row is useful on long drives when children fall asleep etc. There are some reasons why 7 seater is preferred if it is not too expensive. Ertiga is a prime example. Maruti understands customers better than anyone.
We were planning a 7 seater car (safari /xuv/alcazar) cause we lived in joint family and goes on trip once a year But we rethink our need cause we already have i20 And bought a venue as per our requirements it suit the best 👌 So always rethink on your decision 🙄
Here in middle class/lower middle class families, once you buy a car, it's definitely going to stay for 10+ yrs kyuki dusri lene keliye paise nahi hote. So ekbar main hi badi gaadi leke(let's say Ertiga) isko majority time ghisenge. Safety ka koi aake reply main mat bolna kyuki speeding accident main 4+ star rating wali car ke andar bhi log marte hai. Safety ka gyan dene wale rickshaw se travel karne main nahi katrate 😅😂
In 7 seater vehicles the space in the middle row is much more than that of a 5 seater. So even if your are going with 5 people then also in the middle row 3 people will sit much more comfortably.
Sahi hain. Mere hisab se gadi 7 seater with ample boot space hona chaiye. Because if 7 people travels at once then there should be enough space to carry their luggage too.

7 Seater is better if cross-over is an option. 5 seater purely can be a budget/family size or second car option. With seven seaters expect your friends and relatives ask you for your car for their trips. 😁
With increasing nuclear families indians don't need 7 seater.
@@varuntomer1725 I'm a family of 3, work in IT and also have parallel work. I found 7 seater a better option while doing long runs as the extra wheel base adds a layer of comfort. Also the rear seat space is greatly comfortable for a small family. Today's 7 seaters are good city engines along with being highway churners!
@@dentalking123 Scopio N Last row is suitable for upto 5ft 9s. Also the recline may not be too much but it's still a comfortable 2nd low. Did a 2600 km round trip with 4 heavy adults (all well muscled gym dudes) across state and national highways. Scorpio N for whatever it offers, is a superbly packaged SUV. There are few ergonomic challenges, but most of the execution has been done to ease maintenance of the vehicle to reduce cost of servicing considering the size of the vehicle.
@@varuntomer1725 both have their own utilities and purpose, you can't compare apples to oranges. It's a preferential choice, plus handling differs with specifications. It ain't one die fits all...
@@abstractchor yes have driven 7 seater and sedan, hatchback well generally sedan best handling cars with good ride quality than 7 seater also performance is better in most cases.

Apne India me ek aur point hai ki saare relatives k pass cars nahi hoti toe kabhi kabhar unko bhi le kar chalna hota hai.

क्या ब्रेज़्ज़ा/1.5L इंजन पर gst कम होगी? आपने fronx वाली वीडियो में कुछ हिंट दिया था। अगर होने वाली है तो अभी नही खरीदे?
10L ki Ertiga me 30L ki XUV or Safari se jyada boot space h aur 3rd row seat bhi jyada practical h, jyada boot ki jarurat pe flat down ho jati h
190mm GC and Petrol engine to plus point h hi mileage diesel ke equal ya jyada bhi nikal jata h
I'm totally surprised, Practicality me
Aisi gaadi ka koi Tod nhi h, Small town me 5 seater car rakhna matlab relationship kharab karna😂
Logo ke pass khud ka ek kamra nhi hota but chalte wo Creta ya Nexon me h yahi problem hai😅
Bhai ji me to 7 seater isliye lunga kyuki uski middle row fully recline hogi jisse 4 logo ko sahi comfort milega😊
Ye badhiya informative videos h continued rkhiye
This video looks different. Gagan looks smaller as compared to the cars. Was green screen used for shooting, and the background added later? Something is different in the shooting technique. 🤔
I like informative videos like that,

Your personal fav ghumakad Gagan ❤️
My requirement is CNG +6 Seater+ Lots of space+ Goa/Laddakh Emotions. The only car which fits the bill is Ertiga. Waiting for delivery since Oct-22.
Your content is always helpful 🙏🙏
7 seats ka use saal me maximum 4-5 baar hoga. I guarantee it. Otherwise gaadi me 4-5 log hi baithne wale hain, ya most of the time 1-2 log. , Aur agar 2 log ko kahi Jana hai ( function etc. ) aur waha aap 7 seater gaadi lekar pahuch jaate hain to vo odd lagta hai. That's fact.
Esliye don't buy seven seater. Buy 5 seater with good boot space and build quality.
Mujhe genuinely requirement hai 7 seater car ki kyun ki meri family me utne log hai. Lekin jitni bhi 7 seater dekhta hun usmein boot space kuch khaas nahi. Kya fayada phir 7 seater leke?
Tata harrier xza+ vs Safari xza which one to opt (sunroof is not required, but harrier xza miss some good to have feature like electronic brake, auto hold, four disc brakes, auto dim irvm; which are available in safari xza) only issue with harrire xza+ is sunroof. please tell your opinion
is it harmful to turn off ignition while riding or driving on down hill? does it harm on vehicle?

Goa trip toh hota hain mera every year. Mostly new year ke liye. South Goa. Ek badi SUV toh chahiye ghar mein. Scorpio N is a very good option. RWD, 4x4, good space, nice comfort, great suspension, strong built, big tyres. Its better than Fortuner.
,kafi accha video hai confusion dur ho jayega aise video se , aap banate raho
Parking is another issue in this matter, majority of the folks living in the cities do not have the space for two cars (5str), so they go for 7str option and vice versa
I bought xl6 in November last year and am thoroughly surprised. It's a wonderful car.
I bought xl6 after driving XUV 500 for 10 years. Xl6 is the best city car with a huge boot space.
I am getting mileage 13.7 petrol manual what's about you bro?
@@devbratsingh3523 I'm getting very similar around 14 in normal traffic. But in rush hour delhi bumper to bumper condition the mid goes down to 11-11.2 as well.
Though in moving traffic I have also gotten 16-17, but only a few times.
The MID is very random with the mileage also the fact the fill fuel light turns on with more than 9 litres of fuel in the tank leads to range anxiety in the car.
is XL6 better than KIA Carance?
Xuv700 top luxury model is only in 7 seater that is why people are opting for 7 seater, including me.
भईया इतना सटीक वीडियो कैसे बनाते हो..... Goood job 👍👍
I agree 5 seater compact SUV nd sub compact SUV dose make more sense than any 7 seater car
We were planning a 7 seater car (safari /xuv/alcazar) cause we lived in joint family and goes on trip once a year
But we rethink our need cause we already have i20
And bought a venue as per our requirements it suit the best 👌
So always rethink on your decision 🙄
Venue over safari xuv lol
Here in middle class/lower middle class families, once you buy a car, it's definitely going to stay for 10+ yrs kyuki dusri lene keliye paise nahi hote.
So ekbar main hi badi gaadi leke(let's say Ertiga) isko majority time ghisenge.
Safety ka koi aake reply main mat bolna kyuki speeding accident main 4+ star rating wali car ke andar bhi log marte hai.
Safety ka gyan dene wale rickshaw se travel karne main nahi katrate 😅😂
Yes please make a video on logic behind 5 seater car.
Please do make more such opinion videos and Gyan videos too sir...loved this video too

In 7 seater vehicles the space in the middle row is much more than that of a 5 seater. So even if your are going with 5 people then also in the middle row 3 people will sit much more comfortably.
4:31 friends ke sath ladakh ki trip to samjh aa gyi but ye family ke sath GOA konse se log ja rahe hai 😂😂
Sahi hain. Mere hisab se gadi 7 seater with ample boot space hona chaiye. Because if 7 people travels at once then there should be enough space to carry their luggage too.
