I haven't tried open D yet...I'm still working my blues/licks/turnarounds in standard tuning using your earlier lessons...it's a sort of library...always helpful. Thanks John for the commitment! 🎵🎵🎵

These are great clear lessons , the theory really helps as well. Having the notation on the screen is a real winner with me.

Thanks for this. I liked how you first told us how to build the chord rather than just 'put your finger here and there and you've got a D7 chord' or whatever. You sneaked in some chord theory here without it becoming overwhelming. Cheers m'dear

You left out the coolest and easiest, B7,5th string 3rd fret, 4th string 2nd fret, the rest open, coolest country blues 7th cord!

    Hi John,
Have you played a National style biscuit resonator guitar?
I'd highly recommend if you haven't.
Check out Republic Guitars based in Texas, or Michael Messer(UK) guitars available in Canada at 12thFret Guitars.
Both are Chinese made but best by far in their price range.
    I'd recommend steel or brass.
    Regards! :)
