I am looking forward to a long term review of the new Oris with an in-house movement. The watch looks amazing and the movement on paper sounds amazing!
The gasp! from TGV when he first gazes upon the brilliant, bronze Yema is priceless. I found myself rewatching the moment and laughing aloud multiple times.
Two tone Dan is awesome! First time I saw watches from Yema. Thank you so much for helping us discover non popular brands. I love your approach on watches. So elegant!
My Oris Calibre 400 arrives tomorrow. Very excited is an understatement. There have been some reports of the minute hand "jumping" when you push the crown in after setting the time - Oris have given instructions on how the time on the Calibre 400 should be correctly set - you move 5 minutes past your desired time, then roll back and there's no jump when you set the crown. Oris have said its to do with how they have designed the movement. Can you recall if you encountered any "jump" on the Oris when you set the time? My personal opinion is it might be a minor fault - but its interesting Oris have an explanation on what to actually do to stop any jump on the minute hand occurring. Will see how mine is tomorrow. Great reviews, an enjoyable watch :D
I can't imagine how you feel, you are in for an absolute treat! Regarding the naughty minute hand, I have to say I have not noticed anything out of the ordinary. Minor growth pains of a new movement I suspects, anyways, enjoy every moment tomorrow! Thank you Bob, Best regards, TGV
Hey man. I got mine about a month ago. Everything was great, dissapointed to say that ive taken it on my trip and randomly the rotor got stuck! The rotor no longer spins. Im taking it back to the AD i bought it from when i get back from my trip. Wish me luck!
Your Dan Henry 1962 review was one of the first I watched on the channel. I ordered the white and black no date versions, assuming I would return or sell one on. I kept both and they are among my favorites. Many of my other chronos wear like frisbees compared to the near perfectly proportioned 1962.
Great intro. Thank you for showing off the packaging of the watches, these make a big part of decision when I'm buying one as a gift. Looking forward to the next video. Keep up the good work.
Another excellent video and review as always. I quite like your rabbiting on very much. Indeed, your longer videos are more organic and allow for more fun. I truly look forward to every video you post: they are the high point of my day and I appreciate you very much. I trust you and your family are well. Onwards and Upwards, good sir.🙂♥️
TGV, crown & buckle just released their “chevron” single pass straps with solid bronze hardware. I just purchased for my bronze Combat Sub Vintage. Highly recommended!!

You just convinced me to buy my first Yema. They had the Superman II on sale for $525. I looked all over the internet and the cheapest I would find it from other dealers was $700+. Thanks for the tip!!
Congrats Mario, what a fantastic deal. So glad I was able to help. Enjoy it and welcome to Superman club! Thank you for sharing that. Best regards, TGV
That Aquis 400 is my next watch. I was originally going to get the older version but I’m so glad I waited. I am loving your beautiful macro cinematography, btw.
Congratulations on your first bronze watch, welcome to the club. As far as I'm concerned there's nothing better than a bronze watch with a green dial. And yes, you'll have a devil of a time finding straps with bronze hardware so get ready to dive into the third and fourth pages of results on your search engine of choice. Have fun!
Mario Andretti's taste for watches is great....that Yema is an old school beauty, that's it. That's what i call a bezel....for that Yema price is really not important, it's worth whatever they asking for it. I don't know anything about Dan Henry but that watch reminds me on some old jewelry....really nice....a price is unbelieveable for such a nice watch. But Oris killed everything with this.....that watch is a Monica Belucci....beautiful. A dial is a killer, just like it needs to be. Great video TGV, great watches. Ciao
Fabulous watches and Fabulous review 👌. I'm a 16 y/o and I was saving for the DH 1964, but now I'm reconsidering on buying the 1962 on that two tone configuration 😅
Although the gold 1962 is not my personal style, I applaud Dan Henry for the release. I also like that the main part of the case is still stainless, so it's not "too" gold. That model line is excellent. The Oris is a great releas as well. I can wear the regular sized Aquis, but the 41.5 would be a sweet spot on my wrist. I get why you would want the 39.5, TGV. Thanks for the video.
I myself, and my father (both of us collectors) own several bronze watches. Mine are all Zelos....a microbrand I do wish you would look into for yourself. Since you appreciate value for money and excellent owner experience I think you'd find Zelos very appealing. My father also has several bronze from both Zelos and Tudor. All our watches patina in beautifully....especially in Florida humidity. Give the watches wonderful unique looks. If ever you'd like to borrow a Zelos or two from my 30-Zelos collection you have put to ask. Onwards and upwards and always trying to keep it Gentry.
The Aquis is such a beauty: the dial, the in-house mouvement,… and 5 days long… 🤩 They've really step-up here. 😎 I'm just waiting for the 41mm at worst or less… and slimmer 😏
Thanks for another great video TGV! It’s exciting to me that Dan Henry is able to use gold in his designs now, I’ve been wanting to add a gold watch to my modest collection of watches all valued under $500 and there’s not much to choose from.
Early presents I see... great video and you have to love the new aquis, really hope they put it in the 39.5mm case variant as I would be very tempted to pull the trigger on it
My word! All 3 watch brands just knocking it out the park!!!! That Yema is fantastic as is the Oris. I love how they’re moving up the quality chain with a great movement to match they’re awesome watch! The Dan Henry is my favourite though! I can only say WOW!!!!!! I wish you well to wear them! Ps beware of Hugo! He’ll be all over that VR set! 🤪
Add this to the best of 2020 list. Reverie Diver. I picked it up with the 12-hour bezel and burgundy dial. I'm very tempted by the Dan Henry in gold! Good morning TGV! Three great watches in my opinion and great choices for christmas! In my opinion Oris leveled up their game with the Oris 400. They did not just do an inhouse movement, but the added value of the five day power reserve, 10 year warranty and 10 year service intervall looks like a very good value proposition. Hope these transforms into the daily wear of the watch. Have a great day!

Really nice video for really nice watches ! I bought 2 weeks ago a Zelos Mako V3 in bronze (more « rose gold like » than your new bronze watch) with vintage black dial and ceramic bezel, this is a really beautiful watch ! And really nice finish for 500€ ! And it’s actually the most precise of my collection right now, Miyota 9015 is incredible ! It’s never more than 2 seconds off (but these 2 seconds are more random than on the Rolex) ! After 7 days, it has exactly 1 second and a half late ! Incredible ! You should try this watch, you might not be as lucky as me for the movement, but I think you’ll like the design of it !
