You would make more cuts wherever you want it to blink and repeat the process, adding more keyframes within each blink if you'd like :)

I needed a white cursors for my videos so all I did was take a screenshoot of something white on my computer, using the shift+command+4 and shaping it the way I want, which would be along white rectangle. I'm sure you can just take a screenshot of something green
