i just recently got 22 for free on epic and pretty stoked to see what this has to offer. being new to the game my expectations are pretty low. I'd like to see a more robust construction mode and better driving physics. i've been wanting to terraform a race track for trucks, bikes and buggies but not sure if it's worth the effort due to the driving controls being so bad.

What exactly will be the difference between 22 and 25. I've got more than 2,500 hour's in the one year playing 22. And all but two hundred of them are envolved in only forestry. I really, really, REALLY hope, they have worked on the physic's. A one ton falling tree, shouldn't do to a 25 ton tree harvestor/processor, what it does presently. Blame it on my amount of OCD, but I like to play the most realistic way possible, which cause's me to utilize various mod's, the modding commuity provide's. Why when one can utillze a mod to fix an issue, does Giant not include them in the game they provide. Having to have so many mod's that cause a game to be considerably more realistic, makes it almost impossible to multiplay, when one is mandated to down load, install and activat any and all of the mods I utilize. Not everyone has a good let alone great internet connection. And the mandate of downloading a file I've uploaded which is about 2 plus gig. Isn't a welcoming process for anyone with anything but a zero last mile fiber optic connection. Being a couple of month's past the age of 75, if after I've determine by waiting for all the other's to voice their various opinion's. FS25 will quite assumbly, be the last video game I'll purchase and invest the remaining hour's I've left to play. If not, I'll remain playing 22 until the end.

Damn, Me and a friend play with 10gb of mods. From trucks to trailers to other tractors. And ofcourse the mining mod with terraform. Cannot go without it. That is almost 2gb alone. But yeah, no random person can join my dedicated server because they need the right mods and all the mining stuff are not on modhub
@@wmgthilgen Just do some planning. Have your friends start the downloads the night before. Then in the morning it'll be all done and everyone can play. I've been hosting LAN parties for a long time, so you can do that too. If everyone comes over to play via LAN then the dl will be instant. Modern routers can transfer at gigabytes per second. Therefore 2.6 gigs would dl in 2.6 seconds. Well, a little slow usually so let's say 5 seconds 🙂
I just got back into FS22 and now that I have a wheel I might just have to get the collectors edition for the ignition lock. Wheel, ignition and beacon combo will be pretty nice
The only version I’m going to get is the free one Epic Games will eventually offer. I just started playing FS22 a couple of months ago, via the same method, so I will be playing that for the next few years.

NGL I haven't touched FS since FS 15, but I've been getting lots of video recommendations lately making me want to play one of the newer editions. You might laugh at what I'll say next, but I think I'll get the collector's edition mainly for the ignition lock as I've been into sim racing for a couple of years now so the ignition would actually be a nice addition to my rig. The game is just a very nice bonus which I will look forward to haha
I bought from giant site last time but downloads are so slow and every time I have to download something I have to enter my key and find which one I need to download. Think it might just be easier to get it through steam this time
Plain-Jane Digital version for me this time...and no pre-order. I have always been dissapointed in Vanilla FS as well as DLCs and expansions. Been playing since FS13...will purchase and start playing 3-6 months in, when all my MUST HAVE mods are out for PC.
Probly will buy a new PC first, considering how the requirements jumped from 19 in 22. Hope atleast the graphic improvements are worth it. Just pray they don't jump the base game price drastically, cuz if they're looking at what ridiculous 70$ mediocrity other game devs are getting away with last few years, i wouldn't be surprised if they're considering it.
Reminds me of Killing floor 2, where the base game is only 30 gigabytes, but the paid stuff bloats the game to 100 gigabytes and you have to download all of it no matter if you have it.

No offense but these parts are a scam. The changes since FS15 are minuscule but the price is as high as if they made an absolutely new game from a scratch. I'd understand if all games were different. One about gathering resources in space with hyper-realistic physics, one about an alien planet, one about the ocean floor lab, one about candy land... But they make a new interface, plop a new number and sell it for... how much today? $50? $100? Sorry. I'll stay at 19. Love the game but hate what they do about these "new" releases. Especially since it harms the mod- and map-makers. Compare it to Terraria that cost little, released countless free updates and offers a huge amount of fun, not a repetitive boring labor. Or Space Engineers if you want to compare to a 3D game with physics.

I cant gurantee it flat out but it did work with FS22 since steam allows you to add games. BUT having said that even added to steam it wknt track your hours and have all the same features of a steam version it will just be part of your steam. For you a good middle ground may be ordering it from steam and buying DLCs from GIANTS since they can be added to a steam bought version and that way you can support me or another creator and still have a fully operational steam version
@@Zyghqwyv I gave up on using digestate on fields because of how fast it goes. I use a mod that makes it into fertilizer now. An improvement in the AI is the biggest thing I would want from FS25.

On one of the packs for the year one season pass it says performance on plains a prairies. Just how its worded makes it seem like we have to pay for performance updates is all. We will just have to see what comes with it.

Its number by the year (FS19 came out the end of 2018 so its numbered for the following year, same with FS22) there is also no FS21 and there are other numbers that they have not released a game under

I never pre-order games. But this year i decided to pre-order a keychain and a usb ignition lock. Not my fault the game comes with it

Its number by the year (FS19 came out the end of 2018 so its numbered for the following year, same with FS22) there is also no FS21 and there are other numbers that they have not released a game under

fs 17 is the golden era imo. i prob never buy another farm sim. till they totaly revamp the ai. and make it at least as good as in 17
i play fs22 just because fs17 doesn't have the map I found for fs22. That's it, the optimization, cartoon graphics and other stuff isn't great at all in post-17 parts
