One of the greatest love songs and it never says "I love you".
Best bass line ever in my opinion. Ringo perfect on drums leaving space for Paul's bass. Just Beatles perfection.
In total agreement. Paul's bass is so good. George Harrison thought that Paul's bass was too busy in this song. Imagine that. Paul definitely got the last word though
Great song! "Something" is on the Beatles 1969 album "Abbey Road". It was written by George Harrison. George also wrote the song "Here Comes The Sun" on the same Abbey Road album.
George wrote heaps of good songs, better than Lennon and McCartney.
Paul is my fave, but "Something" is one of the all time classic Beatles love songs. Just a beautiful song.❤❤
Ditto. Paul is also my favorite but Something is one of The Beatles' best songs. No question about it.
@Kathmak I TOO am a Paul girl, but "Something" IS gorgeous.
@@daletwin1 and George wrote it.
@@bwana-ma-coo-bah425 yes I know that.
My Sweet George ❤❤❤🎸🎸🎸
Another group suggestion for watching and listening. The Carpenters ,the core of the group was a brother and sister .The brother Richard Carpenter was a keyboard prodigy ,brillinant arranger and songwriter .His sister Karen Carpenter was one of the greatest female vocalists of all time .(this is the opnion of Sir Paul of the Beatles) Karen was one of the best Drummer.Singers ever .I saw her play drums and sing in 1972 .They opened the show with a fantastic cover of the Beatles song Help. She was famous for recording songs on the first take .Great songs suggestions? Superstar ,Ticket to Ride ,Rainy Days and Mondays ,Yesterday Once More ,And Only Yesterday .Karen died at the age of 32 because of complications from Anorexia in 1983 She has been dead 41 years .
Oh wow I love the Carpenters. Check out some of my past reactions to them
Very Beautiful Song..
Just love Georges guitar on this one. This was the flip side of "Come Together", nice single back then.
They ended on a shot of George. . .who wrote this fabulous song. . .RIP George. . .
Frank Sinatra covered this song and said it is the best love song he ever heard.
Stan...I love you, your style, your great personality...you got it all! And, of course I love your reactions (especially The Beatle stuff) You're a good man ❤.
Wow, thank you!
❤😊 Beatles are heavenly.
Well said, a great reaction! Yes, we love our Beatles. My favorite look as well. Frank Sinatra covered "Something" and said it was his favorite Beatles song.
In the Beatles Anthology DVD collection, Paul tells that story. But the way Paul tells it, Sinatra said this song was his favorite Lennon-McCartney composition 😂.

George Harrison was one cool cat !
Your reactions are always fun. Your honesty is refreshing. Glad you like a very special group. This song by George is a timeless classic. A real love story. I don't know how they do it either!!. Thanks for your entertaining reaction.
Love the video and the song is Beautiful ❤️❤️. Great reaction Stan 😎☮️
Thank you
💟☮️🕉️
Keep going! Love your reactions!
Great Reaction Brother!
Appreciate it
George wrote this for his wife Pattie Boyd. He is also singing the lead on this. Between the Beatles , Eric Clapton, and Ronnie Wood, she was the muse for at least 11 songs. The Beatles: I Need You (1965), Something (1969), For You Blue (1970), Derek and the Dominos (Eric Clapton) Layla (1970), Bell Bottom Blues (1970), Ronnie Wood: Mystifies Me (1974), Breathe On Me (1975), George Harrison: So Sad (1974), Eric Clapton: Wonderful Tonight (1977), She’s Waiting (1985), Old Love (1989). Apparently, there are a few more on the Layla album.
Thanks for attempting to name all of them. I've been thinking about trying to do that myself for some time and wondering how many there were. I've often wondered if she had more hit songs written to her than anyone else in history. Remember there were also songs (and song dedications) on Harrison's Dark Horse album inspired by the new relationship between Pattie and Clapton to add. And there are probably more.
@@SomOsog She was quite the muse❤️
❤❤❤
Great reaction as always! I'd love to see you react to "Oh! Darling", also from the Abbey Road.album.
Sir James Paul McCartney, the master of melodic bass playing,
You can't deny it by Lisa stansfield, music video request plz 🙏 😊❤

this here is proof that George was the one with real talent.
