I did a similar thing once in Roblox Blood and Iron. I was playing in the map La rothiere and saw my teammates go down one by one, and after a while i was the only one left on my team. I then continued to fight all alone and managed to somehow take out half of all the enemy teams players. Then i went out of the church (which is where i took out most enemies) and went to face their sapper. I unfortunately lost that battle since i was low on health and i then apologized to my team for the loss, but they said that i did well.

Probably actually happened at Waterloo. Those French soldiers devoted to Napoleon never took surrender as an option. Especially his Old Guard. British were probably in fact saying "Surrender and we'll treat you accordingly"
I'm sorry to break it to you, but Old Guard routing on the French left flank caused a mass panic and withdrawal. Later they stood still and were slaughtered when battle was lost, so not really a heroic last stand, more of a terrible day.
The old guard refused to surrender, they said "the guard dies it does not surrender" at their final stand when surrounded (other sources say they answered by "shit" to a proposal when they were surrounded)
And this victory for the british army never really lived to be known as a great victory, but the legend of this French soldier, on that same battlefield, still live on to this day.

Probably actually happened at Waterloo. Those French soldiers devoted to Napoleon never took surrender as an option. Especially his Old Guard. British were probably in fact saying "Surrender and we'll treat you accordingly"
I'm sorry to break it to you, but Old Guard routing on the French left flank caused a mass panic and withdrawal. Later they stood still and were slaughtered when battle was lost, so not really a heroic last stand, more of a terrible day.

The old guard refused to surrender, they said "the guard dies it does not surrender" at their final stand when surrounded (other sources say they answered by "shit" to a proposal when they were surrounded)
