I’m new to making these. But most rugs need to be professionally cleaned. It depends on the type of yarn they are made from as well. I have been using acrylic yarn. From my experience with crocheting baby blankets for years, I know that acrylic yarn can be washed and laid out to dry. But I have no idea how a rug would respond-especially if the adhesive would make it through a laundry cycle.
Also.... baby blankets have this pulling effect. I wouldn’t recommend a rug made from acrylic yarn to be used in a high traffic area. More for decoration than to be walked over a lot. 👍🏽

Yes. Just the one. :( I told myself I wouldn't make another rug until it was fixed, but I needed a gift for her. I've got an appointment with my favorite chiropractor/healer for the 22nd. He can fix anything. lol. (I hope this is isn't permanent)
