This tutorial really should include activation tracks. I was trying something similar but switching shots didn't work for me in game without activation tracks. Took hours to fix.
For everyone that has a NullReferenceError when clicking on record, just restart unity. That helped me.

Following the dolly path (I mean not tracking an object) is there a way to rotate the camera around its axis (xyz) ? I asked the question on the forum but no answer.
Can you use it to move objects other than cameras?

Damn! I've started making my own camera controller on curvy rails last week.Almost done. And then I see this video. Good to know that I don't need to make it myself anymore but still a little sad because I've wasted many time on it.

Can't get it to work, camera remains still at waypoint 0 all the time. Want it to move along the path and look at the player, but it only looks, no movement.
select your cinemachine ,go to the body option on the inspector change from your default transposer to tracked dolly ,he didnt show this step

VERY URGENT. I would like to rise very important problem with Cinemachine. It is not compatible with play mode. I have new version of Unity and Cinemachine. If I use default cameras from Unity they behave the same in play mode and timeline. But... when I use cinemachine cameras movement from timeline is different than the one on play mode!?!? So how we are spouses to use it?!?! Don't tell that people are using it because it is NOT WORKING AT ALL.
